Hi there Steve from another Steve. I've got Parkinsons, so am not getting out to fish much lately. It's ok though because, spending time with you on youtube is like going fishing with my ol buddy from back home. He could talk and fish without boring me, just like you can. I've lived in N. Maine for about 20 years now, we've got white perch and small sunfish, but I sure do miss my crappie and bluegill. Your videos take me back to some real good places. I have that problem as well with the lead slipping so I put a Bobber stopper on the line to keep it in place

I like the way you tell us your thoughts on fishing you definitely have a lot of knowledge and your right about confidence is 85 percent at least.some sinker manufactures cheep out a little and use to much zinc in their lead I think, you can tell if the stinker is shinny and hard, about your back try drinking some metamucil mixed in a glass of water at bedtime.

What I've found out when they're finicky swimming your bait through the strike zone produces more aggressive bites

It depends on the lake. On Monticello they don't bite like that in the Summer months, you got to hold it on them to make them bite.

Get ya line tight where you wanna put the spilt shot, then put a little piece of rubberband between the lead and line and clamp it, should stop the sliding.
