Hi there Steve from another Steve. I've got Parkinsons, so am not getting out to fish much lately. It's ok though because, spending time with you on youtube is like going fishing with my ol buddy from back home. He could talk and fish without boring me, just like you can. I've lived in N. Maine for about 20 years now, we've got white perch and small sunfish, but I sure do miss my crappie and bluegill. Your videos take me back to some real good places. Thank you so much and please keep em commin
And again another great video Steve ! Ty for your support of Slab Happy Lures. We greatly appreciate you buddy . Glad our products are successful for you . God Bless and keep em coming . Perry
I agree with you both. Thanks Steve for letting your viewer that buy your merchandise know about the hats. I’m going to get a Tee Shirt also. I’m going to try to go fishing today since I haven’t had much success getting to the water, I’ll let you know. I learn so much from your videos but I understand why you may want to stop. I’m one of your new viewers so I haven’t seen many, but I’ll keep watching them over and over, why? I learn something new each time I watch one. Thank You The Old Fisherman. Catherine Stuber
Hey guys . Sorry the stock is low and some are out of stock but I am one guy and I supply 7 bait n tackle shops in my area of Tennessee plus my online sales . And I apologize and all I can say is I do what I can . God Bless everyone.
I like the way you tell us your thoughts on fishing you definitely have a lot of knowledge and your right about confidence is 85 percent at least.some sinker manufactures cheep out a little and use to much zinc in their lead I think, you can tell if the stinker is shinny and hard, about your back try drinking some metamucil mixed in a glass of water at bedtime.
Hi Mr. Steve has been a long time since I commented but I have been watching all along. You are right cost too much for me to come to Monticello or Murrey. I'm talking $80. or more for truck & boat gas. So keep the videos coming the only way I get fish just watch the Old Fisher man.
Get ya line tight where you wanna put the spilt shot, then put a little piece of rubberband between the lead and line and clamp it, should stop the sliding.
Slab Happy's stock on Topaz shad is looking rather sad. Kind of want some thanks to the O.F. and see low stock on other flavors that I want too. I like to buy 5 or more packs of each type but not just 1. In the case of Topaz shad.. out of stock....
Your right Old Fisherman. I can't get out to go fishing and you are able to take me there. Thankyou soo much. God Bless ☺

Thanks! You too!

Thanks for watching my friend.
What I've found out when they're finicky swimming your bait through the strike zone produces more aggressive bites
It depends on the lake. On Monticello they don't bite like that in the Summer months, you got to hold it on them to make them bite.
Thanks
Thanks for watching my friend

Helping out Shirley curry
Thanks for watching.
One thing I've never had to do at Monticello is picking up trash
I have been having trouble catching crappies lately and our lake water is in the 80’s to 90’s water do you Recommend
Don't give up and keep trying new jigs and colors. Or live bait.
I wish we could go fishing together. You are good.Could use some pointers
I give you pointers on TH-cam. Thanks so much for watching.
I just looked on there website they are out of the topaz
I found that out also, you gotta hate that.
What depth do you put out your treetops, and what depth do you fish?
That depends on the time of year. Most of the time about 25 to 35 ft. deep.
Thanks
Steve what is the name of the music at the end of your videos
Sand Take Me To The Lake
I noticed u never use an anchor is a good trolling motor the only way to go
That is correct. Unless I am fishing for bream, catfish or shell crackers.
I didn't read through all the comments, so forgive me if it's been mentioned. But put a rubber band in the split shot and it will hold it better
Thanks for the tip, I will try that.
Get ya line tight where you wanna put the spilt shot, then put a little piece of rubberband between the lead and line and clamp it, should stop the sliding.
Thanks my friend, I will try that.
Where is lake Monticello?
South Carolina, about 30 miles North of Columbia.
try a drop of glue on the lead who knows it might work
I have tried that it helps some.

Crazy times we are in. This price of gas is really messing with my life.
@@sammyvh11 seems orchestrated to me- I do understand
No nothing about stock, I only show what happens in real time.
Slab happy is out of stock on Topaz shad😩
We know.
