This one is good, I had one for a while. But small issue for me was od used in 4CM you could not save amp control. Like preset one always clean channel and preset two gain channel. It was not perfect enough as 'all in one - one ans only' pedalboard.
I think a nice comparison (especially price wise) would have been the Boss GT-1. Simply because we know the Boss sounds good and is cheaper by quite a lot than the DNAfx Pro.

Because it`s to large and heavy to carry it from home to the Band room and maybe in the future to another Band i was thinking to change the Amp to a Blackstar Amped 3. 3 Channels, Reverb, Power, this is similar to the Laney. At the moment this is also enough for the music i play. Maybe in the future i need some additional effects. Would the HB DNA fx fit for this and can i maybe use the HB IR`s instead of the Amped 3 IR`s in the FX Loop? Or would this be to much. Just the DNAfx and a cheaper PowerPedal (HB GPA-100 for example) and i use the complete sound of the DNA? Hi guys, I'd like to ask owners of DNAfx GiT Pro about looper. I'm happy with soundshaping possibilities and IN/OUT connectivity. My main goal is to use it as a songbuilding tool with drums, one basic layer with guitar pitched down as a bass, keyboard or backing track into aux in and a rhythm guitar layer on top of it. First of all, it has undo/redo, but can I erase overdubbed layer and then after one bar restore it? I haven't found any info about loop itself can be pre effects or post, but I want different layers with different sounds as i mentioned above, is it possible? Does the looer still plays when I left looper mode to change the tone of the guitar? Does the loop is synced with drums in lenght? Can I stop the drums for one bar and then play them again in sync? The same goes for the looper itself, to stop looper and left only drums playing and after some time start synced loop again. Is there any precount before the recording starts, like half bar of intro drums and then it starts recording? Can you program switches to mute aux in? And lasty, ar the drumloops one 16 bar beats, or they are more complex? Currently I have Zoom g5 and I'm thinking about upgrading it. From the featurs it has pretty advanced looper, but it's not in sync, you have to match the start point with the drums. This is unacceptable on stage. Also, the drumloops are simple and there is only 40 of them. Cheers and thanks!
Mine would stop working when I would plug an XLR cable into the back…. I even sent it back to get it fixed… and it happened again…. It’s a paperweight now 😢
One thing i really don't get yet, in my journey into music production and all the digital stuff is.. the supposed quality difference between a normal jack cable and xlr..? What am i missing or misunderstanding?
XLR usually carries a MIC signal and it has 3 connections which means it is balanced. This means it can filter out interference at the destination. A normal 2 lead cable is more sensible to interference. It also means you could run a longer cable. you can run balanced cables with quarter inch, but you have to make sure it is banlanced and has TIP RING SLEEVE. @@adriansoul7223balanced signals use a differentiating amp to look at two signals that are 180° out of phase from each other. The differentiating op amp cancels a large amount of these noises out so only the original signal is preserved. Also, they tend to run at 3db higher which is a professional level so the mixer (or whatever the input receiver is) gets a hotter signal which means it doesn’t have to boost it up as much gain. Much better for long distances and overall a better signal down the chain. And because it is looking at two 180° signals, the ground at one end can be lifted (disconnected) to prevent ground noise (60hz hum type noise). Most of the time, if the device has an unbalanced output, a direct box will be used between the device and input mixer. When it comes to digital goods, you're often paying a lot for the software. I'd imagine that's why most of these units are so close in price. (Then again, a small midi controller with a couple buttons costs about half of what this costs, so what the fuck?!)
@@void_snw Yep, I get that the software can be expensive when first create. Important for me: only Ampero and Harley has Midi! I need 10 different Sounds for my Setup, so I must use my Rocktron or Nobels Midiboard! It' s not important for me the small size! So please, the Midi is an important thing! Amp Control is not running with my Harley Benton, I don't know why..

@@EytschPi42 I did 😅👍 got that it’s similar to flamma,but flamma is similar to mooer ? 😂😂🤔
this is so ultra german with the colorful colors that dont match and stuff, i love it!
Hmm, the Hotone Ampero got a pain job.
Sounds great
What’s the ♠️ above the red seven?
Xlr outs and stereo loop is a requirement for me.
soon
@@EytschPi42 😝
Yeah I like that you can slide it in your gig bag just send the gig bag to the gig and sit back and collect the money and just tell your gig bag not to be home too late cuz you know how you hate to worry sweet
You ware the coolest shirts.!
Ermmm -USB-B 🤓
Respectable set of preset sounds btw
AND excellent value for money. 👍
jap, sorry
Man... You can play, shit,... Some shred going on in beginning of video !! Luv Your content , vids etc !!
Great effort on reviewing it. It's a Harley Benton dude....... it's waaayyyyyy priced out of its ballpark. 169 they'd sell a few.
You obviously have never tried one of these, it has features only 400-500 € multi fx units have and i would absolutely gig with this, without needing an amp. Mine is hooked up with 4 cable method into a Blackstar HT5 MKll and the secound output directly into a Blackstar Series One45 2x12.....great sound🎸🤘🎸
I do think it is very cheap for what it offers.
169 gets you a three knob overdrive from most brands.
@@EytschPi42 that's exactly why it would sell. Hahahaha. You have to remember the company and are they going to follow up with what keeps this piece of gear interesting. I think for 150 more you can get Into something used that has a planet of followers.
@@gearViewmirror I get it with the price point. I just think a little softer price would be ideal. I don't have issues with any of the sounds just the company brand over the years.
It's worth noting : this is the same unit as the flamma fx200, the main difference being the flamma unit has a touchscreen
I am saying LITERALLY that in the video
@@EytschPi42😂
No joking, I would absolutely NOT buy the Harley Benton just because it has a usb/a. Not when the others have usb/c’s. Its worth $100 to me.
more worth putting the extra to it and getting a pod go, way more pedal for your money and sounds way better
I'd argue the same thing, even HX Stomp. But the people looking at buying this likely simply cannot "put the extra to it" - because that's close to double or more.. For these super budget pieces of gear we have to consider the price range quite a bit, and there simply is no stepping stone between this and a pod or stomp. The pod and stomp ARE the stepping stone to a helix or axefx.. it's quite the dire landscape.
@@void_snw im aware of how budgeting works and aware of the range of amp modellers lol.
Harley benton dnafx = £255. Pod go £300 on reverb. If you xan afford to spend that you can definitely save £45 for a way better pedal lol
Does the DNAfx Pro have multiple plugs if someone in the US wanted to buy one?
Not I the box that I got, but K think you could just change the cable going into the power supply…. Rather easy
Doesn't fit in my gig bag
Now you can give away all your amps to us in the comments section
the presets the steal show
that sounds so 80s
That's actually USB B not A 🙂
Looks like an Ampero
MX 5... best small mutli effects pedal...
It's ok but it's shallow like a bit lo fi
It's sad that at this point there is so much Chinese made junk out there that the manufactures making this stuff have tuned the listeners ears to the point where musicians are accepting this as sounding "good." It sounds like processed garbage. How anyone can honestly say this has any heart or feel or actually speaks to them in any meaningful way is beyond me. I'm not some old "Tubes or die" hard core dude, but honestly - this sounds like garbage and isn't worth the slave labor it took to build it. Be honest.
