The handle at the front isn't a choke. It's a hand throttle, it does the same job as the accelerator pedal, to let you set a speed when attaching machinery to the power take off if fitted.
Thanks for pointing this out. This was filmed in 2018, back then i didn't know everything (i still don't btw) about Landrovers. Will be making an updated review when we are done fitting an overdrive and other cosmetic updates. Anyway, thanks for watching!

If you keep in mind that you are driving an old Land Rover, then yes, they are perfectly safe.
This means, keep double the distance to other cars. Take calm roads. Drive slowly. Then you'll get everywhere with a Land Rover!
Collectors item. Good dose of Dutch humour. When Aliens land only old cars like LR series 2 and 3 and other pure mechanical cars will keep on driving.

Aaaaaaaa what you said is the choke is a hand throttle the choke is on the dash as the black nob on the bottom left of the dashboard or on the diesel it’s haw you tern the engine off

@@mechanicalmoron2251 No worries! In another video i adresses this mistake. In the future i'll also make an updated review on the Landy, where the handgas will be adressed correctly!

Don't know the exact spec from the top of my head, but they are Michelin allroad tyres.
Currently the landy is at a local mechanic where an overdrive will be installed. When we get it back i'll check on the tyres

Pretty new actually, about 5 years old. Yes they are Michelin
@@David-zv2ob I always use to Michelin, it is the best wheel. I had the same model but in 235/70/r16.
