Reg H is honestly some of the best VGC I've seen, such a varried format... I was worried it was just gonna be a the few top tier mons that hung out with the restricted pokemon but are still legal, but I like how wide the options are.
Seriously RegH is tons of fun. You get to see oddball picks that wouldn't fare well in any other format. The closest we ever had to "you can win with any pokemon if you're good enough" NPC's line in (I think) Gen 4.
@@lutfi911I'm guessing they only ever looked at this past year's results with James getting knocked out during day 1 at Worlds 2024. Haters aren't known for paying attention to a person's actual and overall achievements, at least in VGC.
I think it’s so cool to have Coaching on Scarf Annihilape, with the grass tera and the Final gambit enabling 2 playstyles to complement. The traditional Final Gambit can’t be rediracted and you can’t fall asleep and have your Coaching boosts denied. You also have some tanks in Arboliva, ttar, and Vaporeon, a sand mode, speed control spread across 3 different pokemon, support tools on almost everyone, and tons of control and coverage bboth Special and Physical. In short, this build is a strategic art.
The September grand Challenge ? Or which reg h tournament? I am curios or did understand wrong that this Team was during regulation H top8 So that must be then the grand Challenge I think the September grand Challenge was the First reg H Tournament or am I wrong ?
the fact that scarf/gambit annihilape is so popular but staraptor gets next to zero usage is wild to me i’ve been running one with u-turn/brave bird/final gambit/close combat with a decent bit of success. obviously Annihilape is better but access to intimidate and brave bird makes for some fun shenanigans.
Because Annihilape has more hp and is a ghost type so it can't get fake out. Also staraptor Intimidate powers up defiant users so it's at a net negative
is Seed Sower over harvest just to help deal with Psychic Terrain? I feel like extra sitrus berries would be more valuable but whoever made this team is obviously much better than me
You also get Grassy Terrain to stack recovery on Vaporeon and weaken Earthquake which can be nice because Arboliva is the only natural ground resist on this team
It's pretty funny that every Pokemon here with a -SpA nature also has zero IVs in them even though there aren't any situations where having minimum SpA would be relevant.

been watching since like gen 6 -- IMO youve recently been putting out your best content yet! much love thank you for all your efforts
Your Regulation H content has been so entertaining and refreshing. I love the variety of strategies that you highlight.

The stone silence during the fighting Tera blast sequence was comedy gold. Thanks for the big laugh!
Call me an arboliever!
I've been watching your videos daily and I really enjoy your content.
I approve of this team.
💀
Did you know....
So cool seeing Vaporeon
Best part is that the only reason Aaron used these 6 is that he used a random pokemon generator for the team and somehow made it work pretty well.
The fact that James HASNT won worlds goes to show how complex Pokemon really is . BUT WE ALL KNOW … JAMES IS ONE OF THE GREATEST TO EVER PLAY !!!!!!!
Yeah I learned a lot about making plays from him and cybertron vgc
Not even close he doesn’t even make it out of day 1 in worlds yet let alone getting a win
@@Drop0saucehe's got 3rd in 2019 and 2022 worlds though, what do you mean he doesn't make out of day 1 ? 🤔
@@Drop0sauce how far have u ever gotten?

Reg H is such a good Reg for VGC. So much variety, so much FUN teams!
These have been some of your best battles yet! This team was very interesting, fun to watch, and effective!
Arboliva team. Very happy
I love arboliva 🫒🌿 one of my favorite gen 9 pokemon for sure
I got to masterball rank for the first time ever using a tyranitar and arboliva team back in reg b
Call her Arboliva Oil the way attacks just slid right off her
no one talking about how crazy was game 3

Love your content keep going💪🏻❤
Game 3 is why I prefer open team sheets as compared to closed team sheets, though I believe only tera type should be revealed upfront.
10/10 crazy reads
Hoping to eventually see a Leafeon or Umbreon team 🤞
Geordie showcased a umbreon team a bit ago
Question: does trick room reverse the order of abilities?
Like peliper vs t-tar weathersetting
Yep speed order of abilities also gets reversed too.
Arboliva believer = Arboliever

Hell yeah Vaporeon
Will you try wolfeys forbidden team?😂
In the first 25 seconds:
"Top 8" - two times
"Arboliva" - three times
"Vaporeon" - three times
"Kleavor" - two times
Why does kleavor get tailwind. I mean it kinda makes since cause of schyther but still kinda doesn't make since cause he is like a heavy rock

Staraptor can also outspeed and OHKO the 2 main defiant users lol

It's just the default setting when generating them
VAPOREON!?
You say that every team is top cut
I feel like anything can just be top cut lol
Did you know that vaporeon...?
Sigh..
Nah this team is ass
