The garden is beautiful, the air is fresh and peaceful. Planting your own plants helps you relax and calm down. Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos with everyone.
I like longer format for sure. I think your subscriber base is a bit older, rather your mom’s generation and we’re boring people😁 We like watching plantng videos and watching farm animals play☺️ My suggestion would be to remind people on your main channel to check out this one (and David’s), even if it might be in the description most people wouldn’t check there.
I start nearly all of my plnts in soil blocks. Absolute cheapest method and don't take much room (about an inch/2.5cm square) so not much space is wasted if one doesn't sprout. Then I move the entire block to a pot as the plants grow. Also, the blocks sit in trays so I don't even have to water each block individually, I just dump some water in the tray and move on.
Hi the reason why some of your seeds germinate a bit slow is that they require a higher temperature to do so I will give you some temperatures so you know for next season. You can also look online for optimal germination temperature I use celcius so I will wright them in that, it also have to do with light in northern Europe it can be in most places almost impossible to grow seedling around February without speciall lights some less expencive alternatives can be used but they need to have the right light spectra for your plants Lumen 1500-2000 and Kelvin 4500-6500 keep the light close to your plants or they will get stringy. Light on for 16 hours each day and use a fan it helps there stems to get stronger. I use an old aquarim light that works great for germination just put your mini greenhouse or first wathering tray then your seedtray on top of that dont forget to cover it with cleanfilm to keep the moister in lift the cleanfilm some houers each day to prevent mould on your seeds. With this metod I germinate my peppers, tomatoes, chilli, aubergine and basil really fast, just remember the heat is just for germination when they have got there first leaves I move them to a cooler place or they might grow slower its to hot for little plants. Your portablegreenhouse looks like a great place for seedlings and young plants it will be about +4C degrees warmer than the temperature outside it if the plastic cover is closed and its keept in your house at night. Aubergine 23-24C takes abt 7-14days to germinate,Peppers 29C takes abt 7-10days tomatoes will sprout at 10-15 C but you will get a better result at 15-24C abt 5-7days some faster tomatoes with larger fruits can take up to 15days some longer the time is averiage and can change depending on what variety I had some cherry tomaoes this year that germinated in less than 2 days. also look at the PH levels and fertilising requierments if some vegitables refuses to grow it takes abt 2 weeks from planting out before they start to grow that is normal, is great that you let them get use to the sun before you plant them out it relly helps.
