The 1992 Honda Civic Si is a popular car among car enthusiasts. It is known for its sporty handling and powerful engine. The Hot Wheels version of the car is a faithful replica of the real car. It is a popular collectible among Hot Wheels fans.
Cool demo. Nice wheels choice. And yes the 1/16 drill bit is for the screw to go in. Also after tabs are cut. Don’t always need glue or tack on the axle to hold it down. Often the interior piece does a good job at holding the axle down.
Soldering gun on the rivet. Plastic eventually heats up and pops off the rivit. Then it pops back on after a little shaving around the plastic hole. Almost undetectable if you take your time.
@@franciscoorozco9764 yeah this is like Level 1 beginner swap . Just so they don’t get overwhelmed . And for the 8mm I personally don’t like the look unless it’s on a tooned Hotwheels . I ordered some and got them by accident as I didn’t check the size . I wasn’t to happy until I swapped a tooned and then I got over it 😂 But that’s why I love customizing . @@shawnblack ok 👍 So you have a few options . Easiest is to use sticky tack and smush it back , this also allows you to open the car back up if you wanna change anything . Second way is to glue it back together with some super glue , this is permanent unless you drill again . Third way is to drill them out nice from the beginning , then add a metal softener and force an M2 screw into the column . This will make a thread similar to a tap and die tool . Then you can screw the car back together and open it up again . Hope this helps 😎
I leared with my first wheel awap on a miata hotwheel that i can just pop it off without breaking those tabs, i just bashed the plastic part of a screwdriver to get the custom rim in.
@@VictorTheDrifter In the beginning I was doing all sort of ways , I would say now I do the system I showed in one of my videos where I do each wheel individually to make sure they fit my fenders while I’m building the cars . i have this exact same hot wheels lol
you absolutely don't have to break tabs jus snap the wheels off and snap the real riders you break tabs the axles won't be secure...
Of course . It’s just one option out of many . I have a few videos on this .
I don’t generally re use them at all . I always make it wider and make each wheel independent of each other fitting the frame better .
M2 screws ,so you can continue to swap as you like

I found some good packs on AliExpress ! Just take a look . If you need the vendor I used I can send the name 👍😎
Hot wheels sells wheel packs but there are lots on eBay too.
Amazon
And you dont have to put glue on the axel the wheels stay by them self
