I stayed in Hotel Orchid Inns It is about 1 to 1.5 km from the Consulate.

Do you know if it is fine to have a valid passport but you have an i20 of different university other that what is mentioned in passport?
Better to stick with the same i20 until you reach America because in immigration they might question you regarding this.

How did you handle the Auto Drivers outside the consolate. You didn't not share that .
I was not alone in Chennai my brother took care of my belongings. Some Auto drivers can look after your things, but I am not sure about it.

Yes, you can. There is no compulsion to select a particular interview location. The guidance just recommends you to a location nearest to you. You can not only choose any of the locations but later if you change your mind you can even reschedule your appointment.
sir is GRE required for master in game design as i have a very strong portfolio and basically for my course the colleges say i don't need to take GRE/GMAT whats ur take on this ?? any suggestions'
It's okay if you choose not to include your GRE score in your application. If the university doesn't require it, then you don't have to worry about it.
However, having a GRE score can have its advantages. For instance, I received a scholarship from my university because of my GRE score.
I recommend that you apply for a TA (teaching assistant) or GA (graduate assistant) position at the same university you are applying to. This position not only helps to waive some of your tuition fees but also provides you with a stipend.

I have been refused fornmy blunder mistake in chennai. I answered all questions. Finally interviewer asked me to place four finger for finger print verification. I heard it as fore finger and kept. Immediately he returned my passport. I have applied again and my appointment is on June 11 - 07:30 AM, Mumbai. Please give me some tips/ confidence. It is B1/B2 visa.

@@nithya5716 get the appointment on 2025. Later you reschedule 3 times. It is like tatkal reservation. You have to refresh continuously. Slots may open at any time. You have to try continuously. You may get a chance to get slot in next 2 months..

Yes, you need to scan your fingerprint after the visa is approved.

How much time it will take to complete interview process as per slot.
It takes 2 to 5 minutes to complete one interview. There were 8 to 10 counters and at each counter, 3 people were waiting for their turn to give the interview.

Any locker facility in chennai...??
I am not sure if there is a locker facility because I had booked a hotel room. I have heard that policemen may keep your small items such as your phone, wallet etc. There is a small booth where they keep. If you have a bag they will ask you to keep it out since it's not allowed to be carried in the embassy. Also, some autorickshaw drivers can keep your belongings and give you a token but they charge more like 1000 to 2000.

6.5 CGPA kahan hoti hai bhai jaan CGPA to 4.0 tak hoti hai
6.5 is out of 10 which is Indian Standard.
You can convert this by dividing by 10 and then multiplying its result by 4.
In my case, it is 2.6 GPA.

Don't panic be confident....if you will think they are here to reject you then you will definitely got rejection....but ensure that you already prepared so don't think what people are saying ...be calm you will rock on your interview...i also have interview in Chennai on 30th August so all the best❤
It’s not like that just before my interview I saw a guy giving his interview confidently and getting accepted, seeing that made me realize that you just need to answer the questions. So just go for it you are going to do great. Also just before they take your interview like when you are in line you see the environment and automatically gain confidence. 🤍🤍 All the best

Yes, the University does create an impact on your visa status. The high-rank university has a higher chance of visa acceptance.
