Motor isn’t to loud, glad you got it fixed. Also I’ve heard good things about Old Town, and am interested in the Ipilot model..looking forward to more videos
Justin glad to see you in the new yak no more anchor lines to get tangled in I’ve been with you two years thanks for all the fishing trips you took me on, tight lines brother.
Nice video and it's good to hear that they got you back on the water in a timely manner considering the things that are going on in the world right now. Don't worry about the motor it was not bothering me. I kind of like hearing it since their wasn't any background noise.
Glad to see you back on the water, always love it when i see ya put out a new video, happy for you on the new kayake, good for you to be able to fish threw the week instead of 1 day on weekends, keep up the good show Justin!
Nice rig and good to see the Anchor making adjustments during a big take down. I can see where your drags are going to be more important when a big stripper tries to take you down stream in heavy current and the anchor takes off up stream. Should make for an exciting video.
Once again another great video sir. Was just talking to the ole lady about taking a vacation out to Tennessee next year hope to get on some of these beautiful cats while there
Gald they got you all sorted out without much delay. Great service is super important in such an expensive and advanced kayak. Iook forward to getting a oldtown kayak when i upgrade. I have only been at it 1 year so far tho. So ill put 1 more in on the yak i have 1st i think. (Not to mention giving time for the rona to kick rocks)
Glad to see ya getting the kayak fishing ready l love your vids ! Pretty sure I can’t squat that low & stand at will with out having to change my shorts !
Glad to see you out in the new kayak it looks great I thought you had a new life jacket with it I see that you are in your old one thanks for the great video I watch them all from end to end stay safe🐋👍👍
I been looking into that kayak to buy one but ill wait for the review in a month from ya or when ever you get it out..i like the look.s and when you hooked the bigger fish the yak didnt even move much from side to side look.s very stable..allway.s enjoy yr vid.s cheer.s ron....
Doesn't sound like the motor and hook ups are together well, they need to keep out all the junk and straight wire it. I did hear their customer service is unbeatable. Oh, you got an admirer... Catfish Dave...lol.. love your videos brother.. those poles are holding up really nice too.. stay safe brother..
Glad you finally got the bad juju off the new yak! Looks like it held a decent radius around the locked spot. And what a way to end the video! Nice fish brother! That rod holder is good....the other ones still need more testing done.....lol #Fishing4fun
You seemed to have stopped measuring the fish before you release them. I miss seeing that. Would encourage you to bring that practice back (even a 'dink' every now and then, since that's what most of us catch most of the time).
I got the same kayak I'm waiting for my trailer, so i have not had it on the water. I'm going to catfish out of it same as you. Would love to see your set up
Man i wanna give props to you i fished watts bar this weekend an its tough up there even with skipjack aka catfish candy. It is totally different than down here in sc
Great fish to get the kayak started! Definitely put out that set up vid! Very much looking forward to it. How was the kayak stability when you brought the bigger blue aboard? Looked like you were standing.
About time, don't you know people over here feigning for you next video? Imma need you to step it up a bit. Atleast 1 a day... nah make it 2 a day, and I might be satisfied. Another awesome video, thank you.
How you like them Penn squall reels I'm currently looking at the 20LW one myself , do you have any info on how well they cast by chance ? Main use will be live baits for Ohio flatheads .... Thanks for your time enjoy all your videos can't wait to get my boat set up n on the water myself
There isn’t as much storage in this kayak. My anchor took up most of the space under my seat in the old kayak. With this one, I don’t have to carry an anchor anymore so it works out the same.
Casting jigs and spoons below the dams in the spring and fall is when most people get them. You can catch them on the main lake year round if you put the time in to find them.
What kind of line and w Pound line are you using and is it braided or mono? Also what size leader and mono or braid? What knot are you using to tie your hooks? Thanks
@@KayakCatfish ok thanks im still kinda new to river fishing. I usually fish the ohio and go in at tanner's creek. What brand line is it that you use big game?
Good video Justin. I can hear the beeps and the motor back and forth adjusting but it'll be ok lol. I saw you stand up and lift that fish is this kayak more stable than you other one. How much does it weigh loaded Thanks for sharing
Yes, this kayak is a little more stable than the Hobie although they are both extremely stable. This kayak is probably over 150lbs with all my gear in it.
Great vid brother! New kayak looks pretty good. Does the noise of the spot lock getting bothersome. Can here it pretty good on the front camera. Don't hear it on your body cam.
You may want to watch this vid because you can see the your moving at least fifteen feet side to side which can make all the difference. Plus you have the racket if the motor starting and stopping and the fish absolutely will shy away from it. Just saying. I've got auto pilot on my trolling motor and it's basically good for trolling a preset path or to follow a break line using depth.
Sounds like you need to adjust your settings. I spent 5 hours with it yesterday and the gps held unbelievably tight. As for the noise, I have used my Torqeedo motor on my other kayak for two years. It is much louder than the minn Kota and I haven’t noticed an issue with catching less fish.
I have watched my graph the last two days. Far more accurate than you watching trees that are a couple hundred yards away as my kayak swings around lol.
This is a proven motor system have it on my boat for many years it help you catch a lot more fish than it will scare away. It will hold you in 3 ft spot on very windy days, system actually works more effectively when the wind is blowing.
could you include instruction on how to modify those rails in your walk trough just as you did with the live well please? , own 136 very curios how to do that , including the back holders too , that live jacket is your McArturur's pipe never change it 😃
You definitely make some high quality, entertaining videos...you make the sunfish Assassin77 on fishbrain with 2k followers want to fish for catfish from my yak..lol
Maybe I've been watching too much kayak catfish (not true) because I hooked into a good one this past week and I kept saying "that's a good fish y'all" and there wasn't anyone there that I was talking to. 😅🐡😁🐡
Love that thumb still guiding that line on the old reel. That new habit that you’ll do the rest of your life now. Lol
Motor isn’t to loud, glad you got it fixed. Also I’ve heard good things about Old Town, and am interested in the Ipilot model..looking forward to more videos
That's the first time I heard about that problem with the GPS on the motor. That is some good advice right there.
Justin my guy.....I’m always happy when I get the notification of a new video. I got a lot of my family watching you down here in FL
Kayak Catfish, My autopilot does that when the battery gets low. Stay safe from Pennsylvania. God bless
Good to see they took care of your trolling motor for you and seeing you in the new yak. Good fish. Tight lines.
Glad to see the new kayak back on the water again and getting broken in right. Lookin good. Tight lines
Glad things are working out on that new Old Town Kayak. Gotta love that Spot Lock feature!! Catch a Giant.

I got the top water 120 old town after watching your videos for months so keep doing what your doing man it’s awesome to watch
Glad to see it working out for you man. Better dinks than no fish at all. Gonna try again this Saturday night. Keep up the good work!!!
Congrats brother this new kayak is the game changer no more pesky lines in the water four anchors it has to save you time and give you more time.
Finally got on a nice fish. Hard work pays off

I can hear your motor kicking in and out keeping you in place. I think that ksyak is the greatest thing
That's awesome! Glad it hasn't tried to shipwreck you again. Great attitude
Congrats on breaking the boat in with a nice Blue.
Thanks for the plug my friend!

I went fishing this weekend and the boaters are about the rudest people there is. They acted like I wasn't even there fishing in a kayak
Happens to me all the time while I’m on the river, a damn airboat flies by me like I’m not floating the river.
Glad to see you got that Minnkota all figured out! Can’t wait to see some striper trolling videos in it!
Wish I could catch em that small. Great video
Thats why I can't wait for the new self driving cars

I caught my first blue cat last night and it was a 15-20 pounder and when my dad was trying to land him I was shaking!
Good job, Justin...Many thanks,,,
You seemed to have stopped measuring the fish before you release them. I miss seeing that. Would encourage you to bring that practice back (even a 'dink' every now and then, since that's what most of us catch most of the time).
I only did that for the catfish tournaments I was in. I am no longer affiliated with that organization so I have no reason to carry the board now.
You've almost got me convinced to buy one of these kayaks
If you like fishing deep, I've heard there is a 95' hole near the east end of Lake Gaston with some monsters in it.

I have never used a penn reel. If you are referring to the Daiwa reel I was using on this trip, I have a ton of videos showing them in action.
I’d say those rod holders passed the test!
Nice ride!
Do you prefer more line per crank reels or less line per crank reels.
I liked the storage under your seat on the other kayak. Do you like the storage on this one?
There isn’t as much storage in this kayak. My anchor took up most of the space under my seat in the old kayak. With this one, I don’t have to carry an anchor anymore so it works out the same.
Can you tell me about the motor and steering gear

I did a video a couple months ago showing how I catch skipjack.
