2. The commenter clearly stated that prisoners who are a danger to the public (r@pists, murderers, robbers, t3rr0rists, pdf files etc) should not be released. If anyone has to be released it should be those who are not a direct danger to the public EG, shoplifters, people who failed to pay taxes or bills, or someone that shouted at a police dog, for example.

Non-crime incidents should be removed and scrapped. It can affect a person's life chances when no arrest, charge or sentence has been given in a court of law. Non-crime is arbitrary and discriminates against the right to think and ability voice your opinions....

The government could have deported almost 12,000 foreign criminals. Just to put 12,000 criminals into perspective in 2017 the government built what was billed as a super prison in North Wales which holds up to 2000 inmates at a cost of 175 million quid. So foreign criminals are currently taking up the equivalent space of 6 super prisons! So they did have a choice..

This is absolutely WRONG!
I spoke to a prison officer recently, who very succinctly put it like this. If you have a population of 100 souls and the crime rate is 1%, then you need 2 cells to lock people away because 1 cell would be full and prison would be unable to cope with a rise in crime. Now take todays situation where an extra 10 million has been added to the population in a very short period of time, with many within that increase tending to be of a criminal element, prison places need to be increased,to be able to cope with not only that increase of population but also the rise in crime, from 1% to 3%. The governments over the last 20 years have not increased prison places by anywhere near to the level required. Hence the problems due to overcrowding and even with 2 or 3 to a cell the prisons are full. He said that prisons like all government run institutions are at breaking point and nobody seems to give a dam.
If you think about it, the same principle applies to everything. Houses, schools, dentists, hospitals, GP surgeries, etc, etc - all of them have to cope with an increased population, and none of them have increased at anywhere near the rate of growth of the population.
Plus, not only is the tax intake from the new population is insufficient to cover the expense of increasing those services, a large number of the new population are tax-negative - they cost more than they pay.

Release prisoner convicted of all sorts of serious crime, having on served apprx 40% of sentences, all to be monitored by an overstretched probation and police system.
All to create space to accommodate those sentenced for disobedience in recent disorders.

So a senior lady was sent to prison for 20 months for a post on social media,which she admitted was wrong and apologized for and these actual criminals who have committed crimes such as domestic abuse,drug trafficking, are being released basically to make room for people like her.

I endured a hate crime BY the police. I ended up totally bruised and with a broken foot. They thought it was funny. I have no criminal record, btw, no history of wrongdoing. I went through the complaints procedure which meant ex policeman investigated current policemen.
And somehow I expect that they determined that no wrong was done. No justice.
