Ruby fork-anthracite 1100cfs

We hiked in about two miles downstream of where Kebler pass road crosses the ruby fork to cut off some of the mankier class V. From there to where the dark canyon trail accesses the river we had five portages for wood including a .5 mile portage around the biggest rapid on the run which was shut down and only one real runnable rapid. The section below the dark canyon trail had only one wood portage with multiple quality rapids in a beautiful gorge. All this to say, hike in on the dark canyon trail.
