The Danessa Myricks Colorfix Matte in the shade Blackout might be what you’re looking for. It’s a liquid shadow that fully dries down (and I mean DOWN-it ain’t movin’) and it works well for everything from liner to super editorial blown out looks.
Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes are the bomb. I have 5 of them now and I highlighter thanks to their blush gift set. I originally had Paaarty, and the set I got has similar colors. I am 44 yrs old and love them. At age 40 I had gone straight to cream blush and now I am back with powders. 😃
Coming from a former, daily all black smokey eye gal, I was on the hunt for the perfect midnight black es and the two that never disappointed me was Urban decay in "Blackout" & the original Makeup Geek eyeshadow in "Corrupt". This was over 4 years ago so I hope the formulas are still great quality....

Makeup Geek reformulated some of the eyeshadow and Corrupt has changed. Soo sad, but it now pulls Grey. My husband is Arab and they are experts in eyeshadow. There is a brand called Mikyajy you have to buy online from the Middle East and they have great Kajals and black eyeshadow for cheap that is a true deep black.
My favorite black eye shadow is in the Danessa Myricks light work 5 palette. It’s meant to go under the duo/multi chromes in the palette. Black can be a little intimidating to me, but it is so soft and blendable, I love it.
I just have to share my no. 1 primer... it's the AOA Hydrating primer. I start with this and apply the Elf Poreless Putty primer to areas with large pores. I have been known to put a bit of the Mint Melt primer as well. Works well under my mask!! We leave for New York in less than a week!🥰♥♥
@@katelynbaird4553 Yes, but often I put the AOA primer on and go do something else for a few minutes, then come back to the Elf. I press the Elf primer into my nose and chin area, where I have large pores. I have mature skin that can get dehydrated easily. So the AOA primer really helps that. And like I said, when I'm feeling super extra, I'll add the Elf Mint Melt primer that extends the wear time of my makeup!
@@gabriellenichole3445 I got the one in medium and love it. It doesn't add much coverage that I can tell and I have been using it for about a year now. I have not tried any high end powder though. I use it sparingly so I can use bronzer and blush over it. I use a setting spray as well just to double make sure that I don't look powdery. I work 16 hour shifts and I don't find that it looks cakey. But as always YMMV. Hopefully that was helpful. Have a great day!

Black shadows: once I find one that is dark enough for what I want I just mix it with Inglot Duraline and love the application and durability. Highly recommend for any shadow you want to apply as a liner or smoked out gel like liner.
Taylor love your speed reviews. I have never found a better black than the ABH single black shadow. The only drawback is that ABH's formula is so fallout prone, but if you tap off your brush it performs amazing as a black liner. I set all my liquid liners with this shade as well. Whew, watching you try to swatch/spread that Florence By Mills blush on your hand was something else, lol. The best black eyeshadow I've found so far happens to be in the BH Cosmetics 25 pan Zodiac palette. I have hooded lids and yet that shadow doesn't migrate upwards on me. I love using it to tight-line on my lower lashline as well. I don't own any of their current palettes that may have a black in it so I can't tell you if those will work the same but that Zodiac palette goes on sale often. I think it was just under $9 the last time I saw it on sale. Hope that helps. Stay safe and well Taylor... 💜
I IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference with the audio. I do production for a living though, so I am not sure the average person would. I thought either your mic situation changed or you had to edit your audio levels due to background noise (which we all know is an issue in NYC!)
I wish the Milani pen would come out with more shades, I need a cool taupe and they don't have anything lighter than soft brown. In NC where I live there is a DG on every corner lol!
Have you tried the elf halo glow setting powder? It's amazing and has the perfect amount of glow to it, I also feel like it minimizes my pores!! Your top is so cute!!!

Some feedback on the new mic: I watched this video on my TV and in comparison with your other videos the sound was very far away sounding, and a bit hollow? I don’t know if that’s helpful at all. But, older video’s mic for me was better.
The audio sounds far away and like you're talking into a phone (a regular old style phone, not a cell phone lol). The background noise doesn't bother me though, just would like to hear you better like we're in the same room. Good speed reviews! 👏

I have your black eyeshadow!!!! The black matte in the Nomad Home for the Holidays palette is the best black matte you will ever find. Yes, you have to get the whole palette to get it, but the rest of the palette are some of the most buttery and pigmented shimmers you will ever try. Trust me! Please please test it!! You will thank me 🤩🤩🤩
I looked through all my cool-toned coral/peachy blushes. My fav is Beauty Pie Fresh Faced (cream), which is described as a coral-pink, but I don’t see any pink when I wear it. It lasts all day and is easy to blend. I also reach for Flower Beauty Blush Bombs in Pinched in Pinched, which I find is a NudePink that leans peach and when this runs out, I’ll try Nectar, which looks to be a true coral-peach. I also enjoy A’pieu Pastel Blush in CR01 from Yes Style, but that also leans a bit pink and is a powder.
I have extremely oily eyelids and the only eyeshadows that truly stick are Nars. I use them for liners all the time. Since reformulating, you can only get a super black in the duos. Also, the only eye primer that works for me is Nars.
Omg I love the Colourpop Party proof eyeshadow primer lol. Since I got it I have not used anything else! Also enjoy the Milani brow pen and Colourpop Play it Jewel.
I thought so far with the best black eyeshadows I have tried was from Juvia's Place in The Warrior ll palette and in indie brands, Coffin Critters from My Pretty Zombie.
I’ve tried so many black eyeshadows that pull more grey than black or the color just disappears all together once it’s blended out. Maybe try using a black gel product underneath where you want to lay down the shadow. It definitely helps if it has something to stick to. As far as the shadow itself, I would try a black shadow from Makeup Geek. I hear great things about their shadows and maybe it will be what you’re looking for 💕
You can get that same Fenty gloss in the same shade but the original formula as well, without the heat and with a bit of shimmer, the scent is more peach-vanilla on the original so you may even like that one better!
All time favorite black eyeshadow was too faced noir. I had it in a palette and totally fell in love. Can’t find it in singles so I need something good! AB has one called noir I’ve been wanting to try.

The glowy powder of my choice is the “highlight” shade that comes in the Smashbox contour trio. As an added bonus the contour shade is the best one I have ever used (before trying Lethal Cosmetics, but it still remains a fave). The highlight shade is the old school meaning of highlight, that is, to bring facial features forward. It does add some light coverage, but the color is very fair and it would probably not look darker on your skin tone (I detect no yellow or peach in it - it looks like the color of cream and has the most superfine, subtle pearl).
black moon cosmetics "sleepwalker" liquid lipstick used as eyeliner makes every black eyeshadow look grey 😳 I don't like the formula on the lips, but the darkness of the colour made me love it on the eyes. I can't promise anything about how long it lasts as that can be different for everyone
For black eyeshadow, I like the ABH black that comes in the soft glam palette. I also use the Sephora brand black eyeshadow stick and it stays well on me and is super black but you can blend it out a bit before it sets down 🖤
The black in the Wet n Wild My Glamour Squad is one of the best blacks I've ever tried. It's deep, but it blends out flawlessly. I keep reaching for it even when I have blacks in other palettes!

You should check out Beauty Bay eyeshadow palettes. You may be able to find that warm brown palette you’re looking for and the black shadow in the Nude Matte palette is bomb.

I LOVE the Sheglam contour and brozer that are like $5 or $6. Its got a sponge applicator and the contour is perfect and I have fair skin, too.

Natasha Denona Blackest Black eyeshadow. I use the gold rush version as eyeliner everyday with zero issues!

I like the Hour Glass Veil Powder for a luminous powder. I might need to give the Huda powder a try.
The glowy powder of my choice is the “highlight” shade that comes in the Smashbox contour trio. As an added bonus the contour shade is the best one I have ever used (before trying Lethal Cosmetics, but it still remains a fave). The highlight shade is the old school meaning of highlight, that is, to bring facial features forward. It does add some light coverage, but the color is very fair and it would probably not look darker on your skin tone (I detect no yellow or peach in it - it looks like the color of cream and has the most superfine, subtle pearl).
black moon cosmetics "sleepwalker" liquid lipstick used as eyeliner makes every black eyeshadow look grey 😳 I don't like the formula on the lips, but the darkness of the colour made me love it on the eyes. I can't promise anything about how long it lasts as that can be different for everyone
For black eyeshadow, I like the ABH black that comes in the soft glam palette. I also use the Sephora brand black eyeshadow stick and it stays well on me and is super black but you can blend it out a bit before it sets down 🖤
ABH Noir and the black in the Tati Beauty palette is my fav black of all time!
The black in the Wet n Wild My Glamour Squad is one of the best blacks I've ever tried. It's deep, but it blends out flawlessly. I keep reaching for it even when I have blacks in other palettes!

I've just learned to use a pressed powder that's darker than my complexion as a bronzer.
You should check out Beauty Bay eyeshadow palettes. You may be able to find that warm brown palette you’re looking for and the black shadow in the Nude Matte palette is bomb.
