"nanny skexkis" : "the skexksis" were the bad/evil creatures in the 1982 jim henson, lord of the rings-like, puppet driven movie "the dark crystal", it sounds dumb but it really was quite good an interesting, a children's classic of the era....its a vibe
One of the SP creators is clearly a fan, they even got the part where the clients view him as a friend after the show and he has to let them down easy.
Between this one and "Freemium isn't Free" I don't know which one is my absolute favorite. They're both such amazing character explorations, with so0me of the best jokes in the whole series 💞
Usually, South Park makes fun of certain celebrities, but Ceasar Milan irl is pretty chill and cool dude and Matt Stone loves him. This ep was a way to showcase how badass he can be putting cartman in his place by treating him like a dog.
Weird fact but I've used that sound to train my dogs all my life. It was either a way to make a dog stop barking or come. Just a sharp sound that breaks their focus but doesn't carry to disturb neighbors
Nanny Skexis 😂 from the Jim Henson movie the Dark Crystal The other movie reference at the end with Eric staring into the camera and the gothic music is from the Omen
@@DylanMarshall3 Son, you need to watch Bo Burnham's "Unpaid Intern" from his brilliant special "Inside" A.S.A.P. It predicted a cascade effect that is going strong today.

TSST is one of my favorite South P episodes! For as many times I've watched this episode, seeing your video I'm now realizing Cartman was making a "Saw" reference🤯🤩
I didn't know that the nanny shows were based on actual shows. Kacee's hype when the nannies showed up was too funny! Cesar Milan's reaction to this episode was also amazing. He talks about it like he was actually there.
There was a shown a while back called It Takes a Thief, where 2 reformed criminals would test random people's home security and then upgrade it. That was a good one.
My favourite part about Cartman’s plan is that he thinks he’s “too obvious a suspect” so needs to concoct an alibi, as if anyone outside him believes an 8 year old harbours murderous intent towards his mother.
Kasee, I can’t believe it but I just watched 4 hours of nanny shows because you were so passionate about them. I don’t even have kids but I got a little obsessed. Lol
The way Cartman laughs when Stella tells him he has to do chores both cracks me up and gives me chills. It’s like he’s giving her one last chance and saying that she can just walk away and nothings gonna happen to her, but if she keeps up, he’ll have to give her the full Cartman treatment.
Caesar Milan actually reacted to this episode and really liked it, especially the way they correctly portrayed a lot of the methods in the show lol Time for the South Park movie :) ?
Kayce is the kind of friend where yall can order food and binge watch trash tv while having a great time. Yall really found yall calling 10/10 would watch kitchen nightmares with yall
There are a couple of movie references in the 'Cartman self-exorcism' scene. When his two sides come out as stretchy faces on either side, it's the same look as Jodie Foster's facial effect in _Contact (1997)._ The grainy, static-y effect in the hall and Cartman throwing himself against the wall is a throwback to the 1980 film _Altered States,_ where William Hurt did this to prevent his prehistoric alter ego from consuming him... or something....
i love that south park didnt take a very well known celebrity and make fun of him at all.. instead they used his personality and methods to shit on cartman LMAO!
Definitely a hilarious Cartman episode. Cartman being ruthless then being trained like a dog. Cartman had that coming. You definitely should react to Cesar's reaction video to this episode.
You guys need to watch some SP Halloween episodes as we get closer to the holiday. Like "Night of the Living Homeless", "Dead Celebrities", "A Nightmare on Facetime", "The Scoots", "Hell on Earth 2006", "Spookyfish", or "Pinkeye".
Leanne has always been the enabler. Storage Wars, Lizard Lick Towing, Billy the Exterminator and Parking Wars were my jam for a whole summer when I was sick!
That was what Cartman needed after Caesar left: a paternal figure in the house. Leigh Ann can only do such much on her own only 'til the end we find out without someone else to keep an eye on BOTH of them, they'll go back to the way they were.
Ceaser Millan reacted to this episode. You can see it, it is in TH-cam. He liked it and praised it for it’s accuracy. South Park are fans of him apparently lol
At some point I got really annoyed with those reality shows, because it was like, Hey, now you're just showing people doing their jobs! Working in a bakery or pawn shop or something. I have a job! I want in on that! I also want two paychecks for one job, so send a camera crew to follow me and use creative editing to make what I do seem dramatic and interesting.
This is one of the funniest SP epidodes, and that really IS Ceaser Milan! BTW, "Nanny Skexis" is based on characters from the movie, "The Dark Crystal," a terrific movie by Jim Henson! Always depend on SP to come up with bizarre Easter Eggs!
