- We get to work finishing up the Canadian home, which takes a bit of time without the nailgun, but not much left. Then it's off to the UK to get started on a brick house and finish up most of the first floor before we have to stop.

Those are jacks to hold the ceiling panels while you pour the concrete. And yes those are still used. Although concrete 2nd floors in a residential setting are rare. They do happen.

Lintel is a beam or bar across a door and garage door to keep the weight of the house above that opening spread out to the sides,and prevents sagging.
Just for a laugh... did you notice, when making the stairs, that the cement went UPHILL?
Those steel pillar are for holding the floor while building, since it's all concrete, you need to support it until it's set and mostly dry!
Omg those those water pipes... I couldn’t concentrate on anything but the way they cut across the building until it was all nicely covered up. Lol. I love this game. It may take longer to make real houses but I still think seeing some of the stuff that gets used is pretty interesting. This also just looks so relaxing and satisfying to play. 😊

This is how you build a house, out of bricks and concrete, not cardboard and toothpicks
the stand things are aquaprops they hold up the formwork for a poured or cast-in-situ concrete floor
i'v worked with modular houses, they can be build with in a full day. granted "IF" all moduls get delivered on time and in order :] (rarely happens)
This seems quite real, cause houses I saw built in my home.country - looks the same
Anybody else want to tell him about the two pallets of ceiling bricks he´s got sitting in the yard, right next to where the first ones were? Yeah, cuz apparently He missed those Entirely!

It was pretty close to what we in Poland build but the order is sometimes weird.
Totally common in Europe.
It's cheaper to use Beton instead of wood here. So moste houses get build manly by using Beton.

I’m super late but this isn’t a UK house it’s European looks like Netherlands but could be France or Germany. UK is red brick mostly

The audio doesn’t match the material you are walking on, like you walk on grass it makes a walking on wood noise. Also these are small close house pipes that you need a little bigger. Also you would need to install a septic tank and or connect it to a city/town source. Also I am a future parasitologist not a Plummer so sorry if I am wrong
