Didn't take me long to begin making mods.
Bike already came with Rosenthal handlebars and GP Kompozit tinted windshield
Installed Rosenthal 13-42 sprockets, GP Kompozit tail and panniers racks, EJK, K&N air filter, SpeedoDDR, Seat Concepts seat kit, cut out the top of the airbox and drilled numerous holes in the spark arrestor tube.
By far, the sprocket change was the best bang for the buck.

Sounds like most your mod recommendations are whats already included on the Rally edition.
As for tires, when the time comes, I'm considering Heidenau K60 Scout. Ryan at F9 highly recommends them as a perfect 50/50 tire. ADV is his life, and I've come to really respect his level-headed, no BS, brutally honest reviews.
I've used that DID x-ring gold chain on a previous supersport, and I can confirm, it's a really good chain indeed.

D606 tyres to me are the most important to able you to use the bike probably. Keep the stock as spares or sell on eBay. Agree skid plate second. For me I like an exhaust not for speed but I really like to hear my bike and for others to hear me, I hate overly loud exhausts but something deep that can be heard is important to me. Lastly again agreeing with you the hand guard is a must for off road. The first luxury mod would be the concept seat. I put these on all my bikes they are that good!

I have the same year model bike as you. The other day my bike died on me while I was on the road and was a bear to get started back up. Almost like it was flooded. The only thing I have changed was I did the 42 tooth sprocket upgrade you recommended in one of your videos. But once I got it started it’s worked fine ever since. I do regular oil/filter changes plus air filter and just all the basics. But have you had any experiences or heard of any possible problems that could cause such an issue? Also thank you for all the crf 250l videos you have made, you have been very helpful to me in your recommendations and tips.

I now have a 2019 (Black Rims facelift ) 250L used to have the same as you, cosmetic differences etc. Maybe its me, but I find the Zeta handguards never fit square into the end of the bars. They are always slightly kinked, no matter how much I move the mounts around.. the only mounts I havent tried are the triple clamp mounts, they are difficult to get here in the UK. Which mounts do you use? I have just fitted Barkbuster Storm guards and they fit absolutely square into the end of the bars so my OCD is now calmed down a bit! Keep up the videos :-)

Were the stainless brake lines worth the money on the old bike?

    • @WOODZMAN

The best part about them is that it pretty much eliminates the spongy feel in the brakes and when you pull the front lever of push the brake petal it is more solid. In it does put more power to the brakes and the so work better.
