- DO I LOOK LIKE A CAT TO YOU, BOY? Am I jumpin' around all nimbly bimbly from coffee to coffee?? (Yes, yes I am)
Richard Ryan is back hosting Vets React, and this time he’s brought on Law Enforcement veterans Austin Legg and Brady Speth to react to some classic prison and police films. Movies like Hot Fuzz, The Longest Yard, Super Troopers, and because we wanted to cry our f***ing eyes out, Green Mile.

What classic prison movies did we miss? Besides Shawshank Redemption (obviously), we did that one.
Please do "Blood In Blood Out" and "American Me"!
@@richardcasados great movies, bro. “I don’t want his apple, I want his life!”
"The Rock" with Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage
Shot Caller.
The hills have eyes!!!! For the thousandth time!!!! 😳🤨 the one with the marines that just get facefucked and eaten, also thrown off a cliff haha 😂 that’s not a prison movie? Huh 🤔 Lol
As a former London police officer i can confirm hot fuzz is the most realistic representation of British policing 😂
😂 That’s too funny, my man. Thanks for doing what you did. We certainly appreciate and respect the hell out of law enforcement officers, especially the ones from Hot Fuzz!
As frenchie who policed a small town in the alps with mostly British tourists they were always surprised we didn't behave like inspecteur clueso...
@@TCFamas so you saying you don't? 😜
@@lilgunfighter1536 maybe sometimes but we get our guy! 😎
😂
Super Troopers is by far the most realistic portrayal of the idiocy that goes on in police departments.
It's not idiocy, it's shenanigans.🤣
@@theghettogunfighter what's the restaurant with the goofy shit on the walls?
@@FlyingTigersKMT "I swear to God I'll pistol whip the next guy that says shenanigans."
@@theghettogunfighter SHENANIGANS? YOU MEAN SHENANIGANS, RIGHT?
I want a god damned liter of cola!
I was Military Police in the army and when I was stationed in South Korea, we had one US military and one Katoosa (RoK soldier) with us and they were very well familiar with this movie so it was me and my partner and another unit showed up and we did the whole "meow" thing to a Korean guy that we stopped for a brake light that was out...I got 5 in lol good times
As a former LEO, I can assure you that we played "Meow". Also, during field sobriety tests we would sometimes play "RockStar". First, with your right hand, point with your index finger down and to the left. Next, point with your same hand and finger, up and to the right. Each time you point down and to the left, say "Rock" and each time you point up and to the right say "Star". Begin the test when your ready.
Pulled the ol Rockstar on a college kid who volunteered to drink for a recruit class and got a bit obnoxious. The entire class shouted “ROCKSTAR” as she completed the test. Didn’t hear a peep from her after that.
Rockstar and touch your toes and spell run, three times.
Super Troopers cracks me up every time! That is one of my favorite cop movies of all time.
Need a series called "Veterans Re-enact" and do the super troopers scene, I can see Matt Best as the kid in the back seat tripping out lol.
All great movies. Thanks guys!
When I was locked up 1 of the most crazy/funny/unusual things I've ever seen was when the Twilight Book series hit our unit and got circulated, I'll never forget sitting in chow hall and some of the most Hardcore Badass Gangsters were talking about team Jacob or team Edward!!!! I didn't know if I was in Jr High or State Prison???
I’d say End of Watch was probably the most realistic cop movie I’ve ever seen, up until the end when they got ambushed at the apts, and were running through alleyways. In real life had that happened, you would have heard sirens coming from everywhere. Hearing those sirens in stereo was an instant adrenaline dump that kept you going no matter how tired you were.
As a former correctional officer working mental health units and maximum security. The correctional officers reactions were amazing. And 100% accurate when he said crazier shit happens daily "just another day on max" lmao
The artist working with Rembrandt Brown, or in minimum(women's side ) the canteen candy jolly rancher melted to a huge dildo, and my favorite is the astronaut...towel around the head into the dryer for a spin.
During the meow scene he dose say it 10 times but his partner was messing with him n made him do a extra one 🤣🤣🤣still one of my absolute favorite movies still to this day and it doesn’t matter how many times I watch it or the fact I can literally quote the whole movie from beginning to end I still cry from lmfao everytime 🤣🤣🤣
The late great michael clarke duncan rip . Such a awesome actor
We have the super cop young guy on the dept in my town. The old guys tend to undo a lot of things he does. "no, we don't need to write down that bill was too drunk and we should help him home not help him to a holding cell. we all screw up some nights."
I love the black sweatshirt with the black background making it look like Richard doesn’t have a chest and is just a floating head and forearms.
I was a metro patrol division cop for 37 years. I retired 2021, but I never worked in a prison only a cop, however even though I like that movie, I understand the fact that it was in the 30s, and it’s only a movie, I’ve never known of peace officers, or detention officers carrying inside prison walls. In metro booking we must leave our sidearms in lockboxes in the SallyPort, before taking out prisoner in the jail area. But remember it’s a Hollywood movie.
I was a Cop wanna-be years ago an a small police force and did security at a State Mental Hospital where weapons weren't allowed inside. The State Highway Patrol really didn't like it when I reminded them of that, I just covered my butt and got the heck out of there...
I said MEOW 9 times on a traffic stop once. Thank you Super Troopers!
The old man with the shotgun was Frey from GOT too....
Get some patrol cops to review the LEO movies.
He put a finger in it, and now they call him Garand Thumb 🤣👍💩
LMAO
When on TDY to Ft Drum we set off some fireworks one night (not the best idea being they were still the WW2 Bldgs) while drinking, then the MP's pulled up and demanded to know who was shooting off fire works, to which we responded, "What fire works?" which then landed on the roof next door and clattered down... It's nice to have friends that are Medics, it turned out one of the MP's had a, mmmm, social infection... When they saw him, they were just as friendly as could be!
Should do this again, with end of watch, super troopers 2, and dredd 3d would be awesome to see more cop things
I don't care what controversy yall are going through, your Mocha Espresso coffee hits on another level. I'm gonna drink Black Rifle coffee more often.
The dude that got goosed was probably playing rheumatoid psych angle and didn't want to get goosed again
The unit i worked at there were a couple of guys that had birds for pets
I love Super Troopers.
I can't believe Donut Operator missed out! Good vid tho fr, these reactions are always awesome
He’s around here, somewhere.
He would have been perfect!
We had a guy in jail that had a pet brown recluse spider until it bit him.
I wish there was more on the super troopers review!!! The ridiculousness is what I loved.
My grandfather worked at a minimum security California prison in the 60s and if I remember the story right my dad got to play on the guards baseball team one time. Well they handed him a white cap and said “ if a riot breaks out drop to the ground and hold that hat on your head so the tower guard won’t shoot you” which is absolutely metal
What's funny is how Sgt. Angel was portrayed as the literal "Angel of Death" who rode in on a pale horse and how the shotguns formed his wings! Lol!
"Put a thumb in it" 😆
I don't know if I can ever see Scott's "Stick a Thumb in It" shirts the same....
I just finished Terminal List and it was SO good. I liked the Black Rifle shirt. Chris Pratt wore lol 👌
This is a kinda dumb movie but I dig it, it would be cool to see you guys react to Olympus Has Fallen. See what an actual veteran would have to say about what happens in the movie. Love you guys, stay safe 🤘
I'm a 24 year veteran of Corrections and Law Enforcement. I loved your channel then, even more so now you involved LEO's. Much Respect.
These are great videos thanks BRCC
The smell in seg was a mix of body odor, smoke/burnt sheets and rags, tear gas and oc, stagnant water and pine oil. And the weird part is you grow to like it. First time I took a cycle 12 days off for us, the day I came back and walked in to 12 building (Texas 2250 unit) it was weird almost like walking in to your parents house like it was home. Idk how else to explain it
I got a L'Or Espresso and Mike Hards Lemonade commercials before watching this. Someone is trolling you.
MORE! MORE! MORE!
You should’ve had donut operator
These should have been individual reactions for each movie.
Y’all need to do a navy version with greyhound, midway, and Dunkirk
Super troopers is to the police world what waiting is to restaurant workers and office space is to corporate workers
I mean i dont think id be mad about the ticket. I am going to court just to see what kinda shit happens next lol. Then im applying for a job lol
lucky it was a moon pie.....I've literally seen guys do the same with a turd. hold it in their mouth until an officer/deputy walks by and spit it through the observation port in the door. sometimes they would just smear it all over the walls of the cell. back in '90 I called one of those guys "poocaso" for his cubist/abstract/impressionist art. that label caught on quick.
yah, good times.
Goosed him right out of the matrix
To me it looks like she is volunteering for a cavity search
I worked 31.5 years in corrections and went from correctional officer to associate warden. The most realistic prison movie I’ve seen is American me with Edward James olmos. That’s the movie you should have featured.
Fun fact about Longest Yard: the audience was mostly military from Los Angeles AFB, CA. The actual game was filmed at El Camino Community College in Torrance CA.
Puttting people behind bars only works for 1% of the inmates
El Gigante was a member of the Indian state SWAT team. He killed a perp by hands
A British special. Brit veterans react to British military tv and film e.g. ultimate force, strike back, bluestone 42 etc.
My unit used to have a dog program that selected inmates would do the basic training for service dogs. Sadly the program was ended after and inmate tried to od a dog on aspirin and hurt the dog. That inmate got free world charges and sent to the max unit I started out on.
I love super troopers soo much. Great video guys
Been working in gdc for 3 years 2 and some change on my TACT team... during shake downs I found all kinds of stuff.... pet snakes, pet spiders all kinds
As a Retired Patrol Sgt. that worked when this came out we had a blast, screwing with people. They didn't usually care cause we didn't cite them. We did have someone screw with some Karens and cited them as well, he got a few fishing days.
Spot the fed... 🤣
Escape from Alcatraz, Beverly Hills Cop, End of Watch. If you need help, I have 18 years Law Enforcement on a Sheriff’s Department and I’m a movie guru. 😂
What no Donut , shame 😂
We have to spread the wealth. Check out this blast from the past: th-cam.com/video/r8JXfjAadPY/w-d-xo.html
I feel like Airforce and vet is an oxymoron. 😂
I believe Burt Reynolds played quarterback at Florida State he just chose acting over going in the NFL.
He actually played halfback at FSU. He suffered a knee injury in the first game of his his sophomore season, then another knee injury later that same year and lost his spleen in a car accident.
Austin looks just like giga chad
Kevin Nash was also a guard.
Austin Legg looks like John Cooper of Skillet
In the movie "The longest yard" the wrestlers were Goldberg, stone cold, Kevin Nash, and the great khali
A full police reaction to super troopers and super 2 would be awesome. Please bring in the homeless man donut
Donut is lazy
He wasn't great during his last appearance
@@mallman23 Facts.
jack nines and patsy tunney went 276 rounds in 4 h and 3 minutes
The funnest thing in airsoft is duel pistols! It looks good and is super fun
clicking that old like button seems more intense now 👍😳 #wholdnewworld
Not speaking from experience but I've found jails to always be pretty cold.
Super Troopers is f"king awesome!
loved it
Y'all could have done "The Last Castle" Military Prison riot movie with Robert Redford
Narp? Get's me every time lmfao
thats "stick a thumb in it" in whole other direction... Kentucky Ballistics...
I dealt with a guy who decided his way out of the police holding cell was finger painting his cell with his own, uhm, excrement. You know how kids make those hand turkey paintings in grade school, around Thanksgiving? Guy made poop turkeys in his cell.
That looked like a demo ranch locker
🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇲🙏
Thank you for sharing.
Hell yeah, brother!!
For sure, broskis.
I worked in a county jail that was a 10 story building smack dab in the middle of downtown. Occasionally birds would get into the rec areas. Inmates would go crazy trying to catch them.
Where's Angry Cops?!?!? Gotta get Rich in on this hahahahaha
Just bought my dad and Grandpa coffee for Father’s Day . For my grandpa’s account why is it taking so long for the veteran discount to work
Sorry to hear it. Reach out to customer service or send us a DM on Facebook or Instagram and we’ll see if we can grandpa squared away.
@@BlackRifleCoffeeCompany thanks love the fixes
Attica still has the bars
What do you think of Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners currently on Netflix? I'm wondering if the police stuff is authentic. It's a gripping 2&1/2 hours anyway.
For the LOVE of everything do a video dual welding pistols riding a bike with no hands lmao
i actually heard the story the prison guard just told from a couple ex cons twice in person and once on tiktok
Ironically I'm drinking a Black Rifle caramel vanilla espresso 300 triple shot while watching this lol
What, no Donut?
We are waiting for you to bring them over, player. 🍩
@@BlackRifleCoffeeCompany Donut operator, thought he was Matt's cop toy.
What does the patch on his hat mean (devil stabbing the heart with a spear)?
1:35 Okay but the Green Mile regardless is a fucking good movie
I'm freaking out man...littering and...
"Just put a thumb in it"
I have heard multiple cops say they give up running pretty fast, its not worth it
CERT BABY!!!!
I give this video 2 thumbs up
Gonna mention that The Hound was in Hot Fuzz, and not that the old man with all the guns was Walder Frey?
Dale is the most realistic inmate
How y’all gonna do this and not bring Donut on???
that eye roll tom hanks meme we've all been there after an illness , that ahhhhhhhhhhhhh pee hahaha
I'd love to see you get a bunch of Ex-Navy guys and review Down Periscope.
Yes! Especially if they served on a sub.
