This has been the best 3 minutes of non-stop comedy I've seen in recent times. Getting Danny "sweeter than a baby golden retriever" Rojas to say "F**k off Trent Crimm!" at the end was just genius.
I like that at the end of the scene Phil Dunster (Jamie) is trying not to laugh and that later in the episode Jamie says that it's funny when Roy yells at other people
The building of the joke makes you expect that this is exactly where the joke was going, and yet you can't help but laugh so hard when you hear it. Great delivery by Zoreaux!
love the little added thing of Jamie briefly describing what a CD is to Will at 1:59. God this show is amazing! Three seasons in and it's lost nothing.
Can we take a moment to appreciate how quickly the entire team reaches out for Ted the second he nearly passes out?? JAIME REACHING OUT!! Peak found family ♥️♥️🥺🥺
It's the collective "Aww" that gets me the most. Probably because it builds on a preceding scene between Roy and Jamie. Overall best scene in TV this year for me.
The most underrated part of this scene that will never not be funny is Ted tossing his keys towards Beard, and Beard walk/ away saying, “I got a set.” and lets them fall to the floor 😂. Does Ted remember they’re on the floor later on, or does he have to go back to the locker room because he locked himself out of his apartment?
He either a. has to go back to the locker room to get his keys, b. has to call Beard to let him into his apartment, or c. Beard picks them up and slips them to Ted when the day's done.
@@JRGomez81 I mean sure, but as a current 25 year old who would've been 22-23 around this time in the series, there's no way Will wouldn't know what a CD is. We were born in the late 90's and CD's didn't go out of fashion until at least 2010 or even after that. I get the joke and I do think it's funny because of the set up and delivery, but applying logic to it doesn't work
There is literally something about this cast that is special for real IMO, this type of chemistry is just so brilliant to see because of all the moving parts that work in unison to make this such an amazing show/scene! I also love how the entire team including all of us love Roy and Keeley together and is completely devastated that they broke up and even more shocking that Roy broke up with her.
the more you rewatch this scene the more background comedic things you pick up on and it's just too good, I'm loving Jamie's character development too, god he was such a prick first season but now I love him
Everyone’s talking about Brendan Hunt (Beard) breaking character, but my eyes were on Phil Dunster (Jamie) at the end when Roy is shouting. He’s literally smirking so hard
Watch Jamie Tartt / Phil Dunster from 2:32 . Makes me think of an SNL sketch when an actor breaks but then I remember the two characters' relationship.
This scene is perfect even the comedic timing of the door slam and ted's dialogue, and the synchronized quick jump when the door slammed from everyone in camera besides Ted. It almost feels rehearsed but it's hard with how perfectly its composed but it's hard to fake that jump.
I think the funniest thing is San swearing, like that dude is so pure he hates swearing. But now he’s so upset that he couldn’t help himself and it sounded so weird coming from him 😂
It would be so funny if ted fainted again when Roy said she didn’t dump me I broke up with her! Imagine how funny it would be if he fainted again then😂😂
"Why would Zava write a book about Trent Crimm?" - Zoro, 2023
It’s pronounced “Zoreaux.”
@@anon84 you mean spelt, it’s pronounced zoro
ZOREAUX
@@tomwhite7022 it’s a joke from the show
Cause trent crimm has the hair , zava is faking 😅
This has been the best 3 minutes of non-stop comedy I've seen in recent times. Getting Danny "sweeter than a baby golden retriever" Rojas to say "F**k off Trent Crimm!" at the end was just genius.
And Beard running back into the room when he heard that Roy was the one who broke up with Keeley.😂
I come back to this scene because it’s honestly a master class in dialogue and performance, the beats are just so incredible.
@@nabaaeyddan7565☠️☠️☠️
@@Neurodivergent-j1fI KNOW RIGHT?? THIS is how you make a dynamic comedy scene
It literally doesn’t feel like 3 minutes
There is 1 braincell on the entire team and they just loft if back & forth. And the person talking is never the person holding the brain cell 🤣
A perfect analogy 😅
😂
THIS always THIS
Will is holding it. It's part of the team kit and he only lets it out at game time.
@@AdaSoto What's a CD? Will circa Season 3 Ted Lasso LOLOLOL
1:03 the combination of Beard’s shriek and Ted’s fainting made me laugh uncontrollably. God I love this show!
Best jokes of the episode!
Same! 😂😂
I just love how everybody is more worried about Roy's break up than about anything else. This scene is pure comedy!
💯 agree 😂
And, be fair, pure affection & true love.
"I just wished for that 30 seconds ago"
Now that's comedic timing since they showed Ted and Beard wishing 🤣
I like that at the end of the scene Phil Dunster (Jamie) is trying not to laugh and that later in the episode Jamie says that it's funny when Roy yells at other people
Yes! He's trying so hard not to laugh. :D
0:41 that’s honestly my favorite joke of the episode. From the simple set up to the delivery, it makes me laugh so hard
He delivered SO WELL too
The building of the joke makes you expect that this is exactly where the joke was going, and yet you can't help but laugh so hard when you hear it. Great delivery by Zoreaux!
It reminded me of the “why is Gamora” joke 😂😂😂
@@agirlhasnoname567no, it’s Van Damme
he's so worked up its so funny😂
love the little added thing of Jamie briefly describing what a CD is to Will at 1:59. God this show is amazing! Three seasons in and it's lost nothing.
Subtle touch to show Jamie's character development.
I noticed that too!
And the fact he went to check in on Ted after he fainted!!! Now that’s a true character development
Jamie trying to hold back laughter at 2:50 was probably not scripted, lol. Hilarious!
Lol, just noticed that as well. Great scene.
Jamie always laughs when Roy's yelling at anyone but him
Yeah pretty sure that's just Phil Dunster losing his marbles
Phil Dunster has admitted in interviews that he can’t hold it together in some scenes because he just laughs
Can we take a moment to appreciate how quickly the entire team reaches out for Ted the second he nearly passes out?? JAIME REACHING OUT!! Peak found family ♥️♥️🥺🥺
YES
Best scene this episode lol also loved how Jaime totally broke character and was laughing during Roy’s bit about Trent.
I don't think he broke character. He said something in that episode about liking it when Roy yelles at other people, right?
He’s trying so hard not to laugh, it’s a funny moment to catch if you’re paying attention 😂
It's the collective "Aww" that gets me the most. Probably because it builds on a preceding scene between Roy and Jamie.
Overall best scene in TV this year for me.
It's the synchronized 'Aw' for me 🤣
“I mean fuck off Trent Crimm” 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂

He either a. has to go back to the locker room to get his keys, b. has to call Beard to let him into his apartment, or c. Beard picks them up and slips them to Ted when the day's done.
Lol I love when Coach Beard breaks his character 😂
This scene is perfect. Ted's keys falling straight to the ground is the icing on the cake
The thing that cracks me up about *Jamie* trying to explain to Will what a CD is, is that the characters are canonically the same age.
How old is Phil Dunster? I guess the character was like 25 right? I'm 26 but I know my 12yo students know what is a CD
@@KLawrence-mn7gh Phil Dunster is 31, Jamie is 25.
@@GeekyBibliophile yeah I found it out recently. Also Will says he's 25 so basically he's the same age as Jamie
Yea, but Jamie was dating Keeley at the start of the show who is in her early 30s, so he probably learned about them from her.
@@JRGomez81 I mean sure, but as a current 25 year old who would've been 22-23 around this time in the series, there's no way Will wouldn't know what a CD is. I absolutely love Jamie throughout this whole seen. He's trying not to laugh but also like explaining to William what a CD is💀
really a masterpiece of comedy in this scene
yes! My thoughts exactly. It was one misunderstanding piled on top of another. In the realm of "Who's On First" type ridiculous laugh inducing
There is literally something about this cast that is special for real IMO, this type of chemistry is just so brilliant to see because of all the moving parts that work in unison to make this such an amazing show/scene! Ted’s faint and coach Beard keeps screaming 😂 I laughed for whole straight 3 mins 😂
It's so wholesome to see how everyone is invested in each other's lives! Beard yelling and Ted fainting sent me over! 🤣😂
the more you rewatch this scene the more background comedic things you pick up on and it's just too good, I'm loving Jamie's character development too, god he was such a prick first season but now I love him
I love how Jamie is trying so hard not to laugh as Roy storms out at the end.
I think that was genuine, not a direction. Works, either way.
James Lance does so much with no lines in this scene. Brilliant actor.
1:02 2:05 Coach Beard's scream 😂😂😂😂😂😂
How can you not love this show ! It’s well written and all characters are amazing ! We need more Ted Lasso in our World 😊
For sure the show will sadly and goodly finish while it was at its top!
LMAO, everyone going "Awww..."whenever Roy came into a room made me laugh so damn hard through this episode.
The book has got to be called "Believe"
With a photo of that poster on the cover
@Deanna Flynn Retitled:
Believe: The Ted Lasso Effect.
Foreword by Coach Beard. Epilogue by Roy Kent. The Epilogue just two words "F**k Off!"
@@stonecoldku4161 love it!
1:03 I died right here! Beard's girly scream + Ted nearly fainting = comedic perfection

Everyone’s talking about Brendan Hunt (Beard) breaking character, but my eyes were on Phil Dunster (Jamie) at the end when Roy is shouting. He’s literally smirking so hard
I didn't see beard break character most people are talking about Phil smirking
Each time I watch this scene, I watch a different character, and it is hilarious every single time 😂
Kent: This day cannot get worse!
Enter Crimm to be around for the entire season😂
Beard running right back in the room yelling "WHAT?!" when Roy says he dumped her is fucking golden 🤣
This might as well be my favorite scene of the entire show. Chaotic comedy all around!
Beard running back into the room really got me 😂
Their himbo levels were maxed out this scene. Such beautiful stupid baby boys
"What's a CD?" LMAO
If people acted like this about my break up I’d be mad too
Jamie tartt life flashed before his eyes
My favorite part is Jamie explaining what a CD is to Will at 2:00
I really want to see a bloopers reel of this show 😂
Look at Jamie unable to stop smiling as Roy walks past. Awesome
Watch Jamie Tartt / Phil Dunster from 2:32 . Makes me think of an SNL sketch when an actor breaks but then I remember the two characters' relationship.
2:35 This whole scene is great but watching Phil Dunster trying not to laugh is hilarious
Beard's cries got my laughing lol
This entire scene is just pure unbridled comedy chaos. Flawless.
This is the best callback to the Cheers guys arguing about the boxers and the moviemaker Frasier was asking about.
Jamie trying to hold his laugh in the background when Roy is screaming about Trent is gold
That collective 'aaaaw' from the entire room 😭
Beard running back in to Jamie is really cute for some reason.
I replayed this whole scene like 15 times, it. Was so freaking funny I laughed at every single
Line!
I want more Danny telling people to F off
This scene is perfect even the comedic timing of the door slam and ted's dialogue, and the synchronized quick jump when the door slammed from everyone in camera besides Ted. It almost feels rehearsed but it's hard with how perfectly its composed but it's hard to fake that jump.
Will not knowing what a CD is spontaneously greyed my hair: I'M TOO YOUNG TO FEEL THIS OLD
LMAO...
I'm young, but I know what a CD is...
Oof... I guess that means I'm old. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jamie almost broke character trying not to laugh.
Zorreaux is the most underrated character in this entire show.
Beards little screams just send me
Omg.... Dani Rojas😂😂😂😂. I've never laughed this hard on hearing the "F" Word ever.
Beard screeching gets me every time
I really hope Roy and Keeley are back together by the end of the series 😭
Watch the trailer again
Brendan Hunt is a treasure on this show.
This scene is pure gold comedy seriously

I’m watching way to many clips of Ted Lasso, gona have to watch it again
I love the end when you can see Jamie trying so hard not to laugh!
This moment is one of my favourites in S3
I think the funniest thing is San swearing, like that dude is so pure he hates swearing. But now he’s so upset that he couldn’t help himself and it sounded so weird coming from him 😂
This scene got me into binge watch 3 season in 2 days😂😂
This is the most fun scene in the series

This scene is AWESOME!
This is the greatest exchange of communication in human history
