FYI, one of the legitimate ways to make bread is using reprocessed bread scraps. Essentially you take days old bread that's still safe to eat but hard, grind it back into a fine powder, and use it as part of the mixing with regular flour; since it in this format, its essentially just toasted bread flour, it still works in composite with normal flour. This is how some bakeries in places like France cut down on day to day food waste from daily production losses. To be clear here, the bread being used is whole loaves of bread that did not sell at the end of the day, are hard but and are still safe to eat, before anyone might get grossed out; this way, instead of being tossed into the trash, they can be reused.

FYI, one of the legitimate ways to make bread is using reprocessed bread scraps. Essentially you take days old bread that's still safe to eat but hard, grind it back into a fine powder, and use it as part of the mixing with regular flour; since it in this format, its essentially just toasted bread flour, it still works in composite with normal flour. This is how some bakeries in places like France cut down on day to day food waste from daily production losses.
To be clear here, the bread being used is whole loaves of bread that did not sell at the end of the day, are hard but and are still safe to eat, before anyone might get grossed out; this way, instead of being tossed into the trash, they can be reused.
