The review is heavily biased against Tata. Gagan choudhary was also heavily biased against Tata and the reason was both of them were not invited by the Tata for test drive. An honest review is way beyond nit-picking but here they are only interested in nit-picking. i accept that there are fit n finish issues with Tata but their cars arent such bad as this gentleman is saying.

When someone spends 30 lacs for a a car, they expect the best out of the car. I really hope Tata can improve all these flaws as I want Harrier to be my next car. But if this remains the case, then I would be forced to go to other companies. I love Tata. Hope they improve their quality and service.

To be honest he is doing more complains about harrier than it actually have, fit and finish I agree. We have old harrier and it have best ride quality in this segment and definitely this one has improved steering and ride. He is mad at tata for not calling him in launch for sure👀

TATA never strives to learn from their mistakes and improve. Let's face it... Harrier has been around for a long time. Isn't it long enough for TATA to fix the inherent issues? All of their products continue to suffer from fit, finish and finesse issues and things stopping to work/break down random. Reliability and durability are a big concern. As a TATA car owner I cringe at the people who run the company! Any time a friend asks about my opinion on TATA I have been telling them to stay faaaaar away from their products.
Its not like only Vikas is criticising the overall finishing. Other like Faisal khan and Gagan Chaudhary have also pointed out various flaws in tata cars. I’ve myself experienced these issues in a test drive vehicle ! And the sales guy tried to slip it off as a minor glitch. Anyway great work sir ! Expert opinions are always appreciated. Because of creators like you and gagan i was saved from investing in the nexon facelift. Phew 😮💨
Skoda has AC issues and early stage engine was stalling, jeep compass has squeaky noises and sunroof noise, so almost every car has something or other that doesn't mean car is bad younl shouldn't buy.

First batch of Tata and Mahindra lack finishing. They do trials on buyers and then rectify. Benefit of this approach is that buyers get latest tech at less price and downside is there are many unsatisfied customers
Tata's vision is to make safe cars and not user friendly or built to last vehicles. The service center guys attitude is still stuck to Indica and Sumo level. Everyone is either munching gutka or not in uniform. Worst of all, they don't even respect and respond until we tweet to some higher officials in Tata. Ditto ditto to Mahindra too😮

I can now understand why you are not in Tata media list. This video has a lot of cons and a very few pros which i believe isn’t right. The good things which you have highlighted were again covered by issues in the same thing. Though i totally agree that this car isn’t worth 28 lakhs, but these days no car is perfect and the individual has to prioritize their requirements and ignore some issues. A good effort to highlight all the negatives, atleast this will help people to decide what all issues they can ignore.

But Aisa nahi hain ki itni bekar nahi hain jis hisab se aap bata rahe ho. Inko quality check main kaam karna chahiye as you mentioned. Best unbiased review of Tata harrier . I personally wish our indian brands concentrate on quality and features should follow it instead of loading with features with leas emphasis on fit and finish. Our ultimate aim should be to see truly international products from India in future.
Wonderful coverage brother ! That's exactly what I expect from a genuine unbiased review. Harrier costs about 32 lakh in Bangalore where I stay and presence of these many shortcomings is certainly a disappointment at this price point. I truly wish Indian car makers to produce cars whose quality is at least at par (if not better) with foreign auto manufactures at competative price but it appears we have to wait some more years sadly. I had my mind on Harrier/Safari until now but after watching your video, now I am unsure :(

Wo bhi main ne short-out kar liya by changing my service centre and adding led low beam . Ab aur koie problem nahi hey . Humara TATA ki service Kia , Hyundai , Maruti se to far far better hey . Kum se kum TATA wale Maruri , Hyundai, Kia wala n ki tarah apne customers ko take it for granted to nahi lete .
It looks more of a ranting review to get back at Tata media :) ..there are few fit finish issues definitely but which is only observable to a very keen eye. I have the Harrier automatic since 2 years and its ageing very well..even the interiors (the brown one definitely is premium), and is a great mile muncher !! if you want Harrier....automatic is the way to go ..

This is a Bible of Cons of Tata Harrier. Quality for sure Tata has to bring in a lot of improvement. But Gaadi itni buri nahi hain.. I have personally seen the Grey color and its looks amazing with that grill. I agree the interior color has to be changed from that yellow or green color . It should have been specific to yellow color Harrier. The Automatic is best option in Harrier and is really good one to drive. Infact this is the best gear engine combination. The left leg ergonomics is a concern only for manual driver. The interior is definitely premium. If you ask is it worth 32 lacs on Road .. nope.. Tata should have priced it more sensibiliy. The major thing favoring them is 5 star rating which is attracting the people. Also the Knee airbag is a good addition we all know why :P . Also the service after sales is a big question. Its a hit or miss for many customers even now after paying so much money.
The difference between Professional and wannabe professional is your opinions. Your anger is clearly visible in your statements as your statements have taunt and sarcastic tone rather than reviewier opinions. Yess cars have niggles but using such niggles for satisfying your frustration is what shows your nature.

Quality issues are no excuse for premium cars. Tata shouldn't hide flaws behind safety ratings. It's sad to know that they are not giving cars to channels that provide unbiased reviews.

This is the most derogatory review I have seen of Tata harrier and i believe this has been done on purpose. You are exaggerating the weak points and ignoring the plus points of this car
I drove the Safari. No not a test drive..Everytime you change the mode and the way announces the mode you have selected, makes you think its trying to seduce you. Specially when selecting Wet mode, Rough road mode. Rubber beading already coming off, in a car drive for 400kms. The AC controls are a pain. Can't change anything without taking your eyes off the road. Seriously, whatever happened to buttons. There also seem to be an issue with the power tail gate. Making a creaking sound. I thought it was the hinges, but seems to be coming from somewhere else. Cabin is not that quiet though. The lower variants are way overpriced. I think the whole Harrier range I think is overpriced. So better pitch in a bit more and get the Safari. It looks dope though and drives good over broken roads, even during the multiple trips to the service station. To be honest it's hard to remain a Tata fan once you own one. If you are still one, the service will definitely make up for it. One thing for sure...Tata and electronics don't to together, not for long atleast. The safety is good, but I also want peace of mind

It's very disappointing to see how bad the interior quality of almost all manufacturers have become in last half a decade or so, despite the prices of the cars skyrocketing. Even skoda and vw have become so bad. Starting with downgraded quality of plastic to loose parts, these cars absolutely don't justify the price tag for the fit and finish quality of interiors they offer. 5 stars alone is not good enough, if the parts start coming off, or they offer cheap quality materials in the interior. I have always believed that Tata and Mahindra cars absolutely don't justify this price tag (for their so called premium suvs), because of poor service and cheap cost cutting techniques and cheap material quality. Now with latest gen german cars also, this is true. Its even evident with Hyundai, they have caused the biggest disappointment, some are way too overpriced cars (like i20 price is rdidculous). I don't even want to speak about their designs. Honda though, has somewhat maintained the quality with somewhat reasonable pricing. Cars like mg astor, ford ecosport(last gen), they feel more premium at that price point than cars we have now. And in this price point, I still think cars like endeavour and kodiaq or older superb is better than harrier/safari or scorpio n etc, but I guess it's a bit subjective too.

Well I hope the recall is complete amd the flaw rectified bybthe time I get mine. The fit and finish inside the safari is truly bad that is what put me off. With regard to this bad accident I am really feeling sad and hurt for the owner.
It all depends on your purpose for example if u want initial power more you can opt virtus city hybrid will be more appropriate for those who are more concerned about the milaga in the city because it will give approximately 18-20kmpl in city itself both VW and Toyota are capable for 10+ years of ownership

Only @icnstudio does unbiased reviews Tata has a lot of quality issues to solve I have just purchased new Nexon Creative+ MT Even my Nexon's steering is not levelled straight I noticed the same after a long drive (Given this to the service center to correct hope so they are able to correct it) I am also facing issues with the TPMS sensors (their values change by approximately 5 points depending on timings and the drive condition ) Paint quality is also not good as during PDI washing some paint bubble did burst (Showroom is going to repaint that panel free) Still chose Tata as the comfort space and safety of Nexon is much better than the rivals 7:05
I am owner of Scorpio n, many rattelings,Rusting issues are there ,I have faced breakdown 2 times only in 11 k km, dashboard quality is also pathetic, comfot is also not nice as Safari and mahindra service is also very bad,4*4 is really not useful in daily drives,I have given much price just because of 4*4,but now I will not buy 4*4
Personally i will go for safety 🦺 🥇 first but at same time i will also need the premium interiors too that's why will go with upcoming update model of XUV 700 2024. Other point is that kia seltos interiors are top notch quality with proper fit and finish but lacks in safety raiting.

@autoyogi I liked Altroz's horn because unlike Maruti's you dont have to leave one hand from your steering for pressing horn, with a push of thumb on the sides you can honk the horn. This way you can do steering, honking and gear shifts simultaneously

The review is heavily biased against Tata. Gagan choudhary was also heavily biased against Tata and the reason was both of them were not invited by the Tata for test drive. An honest review is way beyond nit-picking but here they are only interested in nit-picking. i accept that there are fit n finish issues with Tata but their cars arent such bad as this gentleman is saying.

TATA never strives to learn from their mistakes and improve. Let's face it... Harrier has been around for a long time. Isn't it long enough for TATA to fix the inherent issues? All of their products continue to suffer from fit, finish and finesse issues and things stopping to work/break down random. Reliability and durability are a big concern. As a TATA car owner I cringe at the people who run the company! Any time a friend asks about my opinion on TATA I have been telling them to stay faaaaar away from their products.

Its not like only Vikas is criticising the overall finishing. Other like Faisal khan and Gagan Chaudhary have also pointed out various flaws in tata cars. I’ve myself experienced these issues in a test drive vehicle ! And the sales guy tried to slip it off as a minor glitch.

Skoda has AC issues and early stage engine was stalling, jeep compass has squeaky noises and sunroof noise, so almost every car has something or other that doesn't mean car is bad younl shouldn't buy.

Tata's vision is to make safe cars and not user friendly or built to last vehicles. The service center guys attitude is still stuck to Indica and Sumo level. Everyone is either munching gutka or not in uniform. Worst of all, they don't even respect and respond until we tweet to some higher officials in Tata. Ditto ditto to Mahindra too😮

I can now understand why you are not in Tata media list. This video has a lot of cons and a very few pros which i believe isn’t right. The good things which you have highlighted were again covered by issues in the same thing. Though i totally agree that this car isn’t worth 28 lakhs, but these days no car is perfect and the individual has to prioritize their requirements and ignore some issues.

Best unbiased review of Tata harrier . I personally wish our indian brands concentrate on quality and features should follow it instead of loading with features with leas emphasis on fit and finish. Our ultimate aim should be to see truly international products from India in future.
Wonderful coverage brother ! That's exactly what I expect from a genuine unbiased review. Harrier costs about 32 lakh in Bangalore where I stay and presence of these many shortcomings is certainly a disappointment at this price point. I truly wish Indian car makers to produce cars whose quality is at least at par (if not better) with foreign auto manufactures at competative price but it appears we have to wait some more years sadly. I had my mind on Harrier/Safari until now but after watching your video, now I am unsure :(

Wo bhi main ne short-out kar liya by changing my service centre and adding led low beam . Ab aur koie problem nahi hey . Humara TATA ki service Kia , Hyundai , Maruti se to far far better hey . Kum se kum TATA wale Maruri , Hyundai, Kia wala n ki tarah apne customers ko take it for granted to nahi lete .

It looks more of a ranting review to get back at Tata media :) ..there are few fit finish issues definitely but which is only observable to a very keen eye. I have the Harrier automatic since 2 years and its ageing very well..even the interiors (the brown one definitely is premium), and is a great mile muncher !! if you want Harrier....automatic is the way to go ..

This is a Bible of Cons of Tata Harrier. Quality for sure Tata has to bring in a lot of improvement. But Gaadi itni buri nahi hain.. I have personally seen the Grey color and its looks amazing with that grill. I agree the interior color has to be changed from that yellow or green color . It should have been specific to yellow color Harrier. The Automatic is best option in Harrier and is really good one to drive. Infact this is the best gear engine combination. The left leg ergonomics is a concern only for manual driver. The interior is definitely premium. If you ask is it worth 32 lacs on Road .. nope.. Tata should have priced it more sensibiliy. The major thing favoring them is 5 star rating which is attracting the people. Also the Knee airbag is a good addition we all know why :P . Also the service after sales is a big question. Its a hit or miss for many customers even now after paying so much money.

This is the most derogatory review I have seen of Tata harrier and i believe this has been done on purpose. You are exaggerating the weak points and ignoring the plus points of this car
I drove the Safari. No not a test drive..Everytime you change the mode and the way announces the mode you have selected, makes you think its trying to seduce you. Specially when selecting Wet mode, Rough road mode. Rubber beading already coming off, in a car drive for 400kms. The AC controls are a pain. Can't change anything without taking your eyes off the road. Seriously, whatever happened to buttons. There also seem to be an issue with the power tail gate. Making a creaking sound. I thought it was the hinges, but seems to be coming from somewhere else. Cabin is not that quiet though. The lower variants are way overpriced. I think the whole Harrier range I think is overpriced. So better pitch in a bit more and get the Safari. It looks dope though and drives good over broken roads, even during the multiple trips to the service station. To be honest it's hard to remain a Tata fan once you own one. If you are still one, the service will definitely make up for it. One thing for sure...Tata and electronics don't to together, not for long atleast. The safety is good, but I also want peace of mind

It's very disappointing to see how bad the interior quality of almost all manufacturers have become in last half a decade or so, despite the prices of the cars skyrocketing. Even skoda and vw have become so bad.
Starting with downgraded quality of plastic to loose parts, these cars absolutely don't justify the price tag for the fit and finish quality of interiors they offer. 5 stars alone is not good enough, if the parts start coming off, or they offer cheap quality materials in the interior.
I have always believed that Tata and Mahindra cars absolutely don't justify this price tag (for their so called premium suvs), because of poor service and cheap cost cutting techniques and cheap material quality. Now with latest gen german cars also, this is true.
Its even evident with Hyundai, they have caused the biggest disappointment, some are way too overpriced cars (like i20 price is rdidculous). I don't even want to speak about their designs. Honda though, has somewhat maintained the quality with somewhat reasonable pricing.
Cars like mg astor, ford ecosport(last gen), they feel more premium at that price point than cars we have now. And in this price point, I still think cars like endeavour and kodiaq or older superb is better than harrier/safari or scorpio n etc, but I guess it's a bit subjective too.

Well I hope the recall is complete amd the flaw rectified bybthe time I get mine. The fit and finish inside the safari is truly bad that is what put me off. With regard to this bad accident I am really feeling sad and hurt for the owner.

It all depends on your purpose for example if u want initial power more you can opt virtus city hybrid will be more appropriate for those who are more concerned about the milaga in the city because it will give approximately 18-20kmpl in city itself both VW and Toyota are capable for 10+ years of ownership

I have just purchased new Nexon Creative+ MT
Even my Nexon's steering is not levelled straight
I noticed the same after a long drive (Given this to the service center to correct hope so they are able to correct it)
I am also facing issues with the TPMS sensors (their values change by approximately 5 points depending on timings and the drive condition )
Paint quality is also not good as during PDI washing some paint bubble did burst (Showroom is going to repaint that panel free)
Still chose Tata as the comfort space and safety of Nexon is much better than the rivals 7:05

Itna fit and finish issue doesn't matter to me.even vw,skoda mahindra have fit and finish issue. But they are safer
I am owner of Scorpio n, many rattelings,Rusting issues are there ,I have faced breakdown 2 times only in 11 k km, dashboard quality is also pathetic, comfot is also not nice as Safari and mahindra service is also very bad,4*4 is really not useful in daily drives,I have given much price just because of 4*4,but now I will not buy 4*4

Personally i will go for safety 🦺 🥇 first but at same time i will also need the premium interiors too that's why will go with upcoming update model of XUV 700 2024. Other point is that kia seltos interiors are top notch quality with proper fit and finish but lacks in safety raiting.

@autoyogi I liked Altroz's horn because unlike Maruti's you dont have to leave one hand from your steering for pressing horn, with a push of thumb on the sides you can honk the horn. This way you can do steering, honking and gear shifts simultaneously
It can be done in Maruti also. I had a swift. Always pressed horn with thumb

@@asifzbaig i think it is possible on every car. My father's new car had issue in which it didn't honk at the sides so I got it reppaced in warranty and new one has no issue.
The thumbs get a good workout in pressing the horn in my tiago.
