Dear Tanmay, currently I am using a Denon 550BT and looking for an upgrade. Planning for 5.1.2 in my 220 sqft living room. What is your pick between 1700 and 3800? Reason for thinking about 3800 is for its audio quality and wasting the unused channels on the other hand. Will there be a day and night difference in audio quality between them? Please advise
Both the Denon AVR-X1700H and the Denon AVR-X3800H are solid AV receivers that could be suitable for a 5.1.2 home theater setup in a 220 sq ft living room. Here are a few things to consider when deciding between the two: Power output: The AVR-X3800H has a higher power output than the AVR-X1700H, with 9 channels x 125 watts compared to 7 channels x 95 watts. This could make the AVR-X3800H more suitable for larger rooms or for those who want more powerful sound. Audio quality: The AVR-X3800H is likely to offer slightly better audio quality than the AVR-X1700H due to its higher power output and additional channels. However, the difference in audio quality between the two receivers may not be immediately noticeable to most listeners, especially in a small room like a 220 sq ft living room. Features: The AVR-X3800H has a number of additional features compared to the AVR-X1700H, including support for Auro 3D and advanced video processing and upscaling capabilities. These may be useful for those who want a more advanced home theater setup. Ultimately, the best choice for you will depend on your specific needs and priorities. If you are primarily concerned with audio quality and are willing to pay a higher price for additional features, the AVR-X3800H may be the better option. If you are looking for a more affordable receiver that still delivers good sound and has basic home theater capabilities, the AVR-X1700H may be a good choice. - AVfive. com
Hi I have apple tv 4k 2021 and Marantz sr 5015 avr with sony x80H television. Iam not able to get 4k @60HZ picture quality. Apple connected to avr and avr to tv with Belkin ultrahd hdmi.
It's been 2 years since you have created video for the best home theater under 50000 and 100000. Yamaha 3072 and others prices have gone up really fast. Now what are the options we have left. Please put up a video. Thanks
Haha! I know we had to redo this, but here is the challenge, there is still nothing that has impressed us under 50,000/- and with the recent price hikes in last 2 years, these products are now jumped to ₹75,000/-. So what we can do is rename this video to Best Home Theatre under 75,000/- 😀
Sir my bedroom size is 15.3x15, please suggest me best configuration for Home Theatre and my Budget is around Rs 7 lakhs. My requirement to watch TV and Projector, so I thought of having pulldown screen, as I am above 61 years, I will be spending most of my time watching Netflix, prime and other OTT.
Should I buy Alr screen for my Epson 5650 ? I have a dark room I also have a 100 inches white screen right now. So should I upgrade for better experience or is it enough? Thanks in advance
@@TanmayMehta I have already contacted Profx who informed me no issues found after checking the Amp. But the problem of last 6 months persists/repeating. The Amp was warm only not too hot. The Amp (4 to 16 ohm imp) has been working well from 2016, with the same Speaker set TAGA 506, 6 ohm and V Guard Digi 200 Stabiliser. Thank you....

Looking to upgrade my outdated Onkyo TX-SR606 Receiver, paired with Wharfedale Diamond 11.4 Tower Front speakers, and Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 Bookshelf surround speakers. Was seriously considering the Marantz NR1711, mainly due it's aesthetics and slim profile. But I am a little worried it might fall short in the performance departement. Alternatively, the Denon X1700 or maybe even the X2800 seems like a solid option, and maybe better suited for my setup. What do you think? I would appreciate any feedback!

If you have a budget for X2800H then you can rather take Marantz SR5015. One more thing, even though the rated power or Marantz NR1711 seems lower than Denon X1700H but you will still find the former to be able to better push the speakers.

What is the difference between Surround and Atmos Speakers in construction, technically?
No difference generally. It depends upon location and dispersion angle
Any damn speaker can be used as Atmos. It is the AVR which is sending the respective signals.
