Actually the less graphite you add, the higher the resistance will be. So a 10M ohm resistor wouldn't need that much graphite (way less than the amount he used in the video)
It helps when you have to submit your project the next day and it's 11 o clock already and you suddenly remember.. oh I don't have any resistor with me..
Great video! Have you figured out which dimensions of rectangles will get close to various standard small electronics resistor sizes?
Thanks for watching ❤
It depends on the type of pencil and the length of the paper.
Very cool! I think the video would benefit if you also show how to make resistance smaller or larger.
I tried this and made a 3.3m Ohm resistor. Does the size of paper matter
I looked this up to see if I might be able to make some 10 mega-ohm resistors... that would be a lot of paper and graphite...

Thanks! I burned my house down and I no longer have to pay the bills!
How can you modify the resistor ohm value.. to increase or decrease the ohm?
Resistance is an extensive property, so the longest the drawn rectangle the more ohms you get
At first you make more of them then to decrease ohms, you should connect them in parallel and to increase ohms you should connect them in series.
Thanks buddy
You're welcome
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 😊
i like it
This is Elon musk😅😅😂😂
doesnt work
Not working😅😅

Its absolutely real. You can test it yourself. What is difficult to achieve is calculation for size and thickness of resistance.
Ну это маразм!!! Зачем это? Ты живёшь в лесу?
No i think he is Indian 💀
@@FauL_UppU как глоссит легенда: синяя изолента крепче!)))
это у тебя маразм: автор показывает принцип работы резистора, вот нахера такие люди как ты вааще рты открывают?! что-то умное сказал?
