TITLES AND EFFECTS
To be honest, I just wanted to make a video that amused me. I wanted to make a weird and disorienting video once I got the idea for the audio I had, and it was just a matter of looking at the assignment and adding what needed to be added, which ended up making it even MORE weird and disorienting, so thank you Bart. The audio is basically a bunch of overlapping OIAF submissions that I could find on youtube, some are the full og videos, some are the trailers, there was one or 2 behind the scenes playing. I tried to add in all the ones I remember watching myself, but I know I really like the cacophony that occurs when you play 20 videos at once. I always have like, 20 tabs of youtube on my computer at all times, and when I still used chrome whenever I restarted my computer they'd all play at once, so that's where I got the inspiration for the sound. As for the effects, ottawa was a lot of walking and a lot of people, so I wanted the video to also show a lot of walking and a lot of people. I don't think I was ever overwhelmed, but that overwhelming vibe felt right for the audio I got. I really liked the clip I got of me walking through the crowd with the overlay of my walking through the hotel basement and how those movements compliment eachother, probably the best moment in this video.
