My favorite perennial is Mystic Spires Blue Salvia (zone 7 hardy). They usually show up in mid-to-late March once the blooms appear. Last year, one nursery had some at the end of February. The grower had pinched the flowers off to produce a nice and bushy plant in the 1-gal container. No one bought them, so I had my choice of the early delivery. Note: I plan to purchase some Agastache this year, maybe Blue Fortune and Blue Boa, so that favorite perennial status of the Mystics will be challenged. LOL!
That Purple Dome Aster is phenomenal. Given room, it looks like a scoop of ice cream when the blooms appear. Great for large container, too.

Would love more native plant content! 😊
Love the native content, thank you 😊
You're welcome. More to come next time!
Great group of native plants! Thanks so much for introducing them to us! I have a few of these but need to put the rest on my wishlist!🌸🌼🐝🦋😊
You are so welcome!
Would have been useful to see the vernonia flowers. I wouldn't buy any plant where I hadn't seen the flower.
Sorry Michele. They were just in bud and unfortunately I didn't have any flowers to show. I promise they are beautiful though!
