@@markuszwerger3821 Dolomite is a porous and relatively soft rock.Time and atmospheric influences destroy it much faster than, for example, basalts and granites. Look at the huge mountain scree under these mountains.

The Dolomites are named after the French naturalist Déodat de Dolomieu who was the first to study the particular type of rock predominant in the region, baptized in his honor dolomite, consisting mainly of the mineral dolomite (MgCa (CO3) 2) or double carbonate of calcium and magnesium. They have a characteristic light colour that gives them the nickname of "Pale Mountains". It is a restricted area in the north-east side of the Alpi range.

You can find fossils of shells and sea animals inside the dolomia rock in many places. I am a member of the Italian Alpine Club and I climbed some of these tops as well as some of the granite Western Alps, they are different but all amazing.

At 18:32 there is Capanna Fassa (Piz Boè peak retreat), did you have the chance to reach it? The view is outstanding from up there, better than from Rifugio Maria because there is no higher peak around (other than Marmolada of course, the Queen of the Dolomites). Awesome video for an awesome place.
my plan was to go up there ! but i ran out of time i did not wanna miss the last gondel ;) hiking day after day without training was not a good idea for my legs haha they hurt allot ! i already missed one gondel from SECEDA after a long day hike i was almost dead when i came back at my car pff ( next time i wil hike up ) thank you for your comment !

Hi Lion ! I use a sony A7III 👍i filmed in a picture profile cine 2 with a Lut ( i can't tell you what lut i use. . I wanna have my own look ) i also use HLG my next video is shot in HLG with a lut i looks very real almost 3D . . It has more depth in the video ! I will use that wen i do forest walks on a cloudy day and cine 2 on a sunny day ! Thank you for your comment ( the video will go online on saturday

My old video are filmed with sony rx100v i'm all over the place with panning haha am still learning . . I only need to learn to shoot in manual focus and focus zones. . focus center focus wide 😏 i started from zero with camera i watch allot of youtube video's to learn how to shoot the best video's 👍

@Lion Alberto am also no professional am like you just a normal person ;) i have my camera for 2 years now ! i only use it only at my holiday i need to use it more to get better ! i alway shoot around F8 - F10 if i shoot a 30 frames a second the shutter is always 60 + ! i never use a ND filter ( i need to learn how to use one ) the first year i did not practice allot with my camera did not know my settings ;) all the clips raw cut no begin and end. . i use a Weebill-S gimbal and i use 5% warp stabilizer in post ( adobe premiere pro ) i do not use all the time ! only use it in straight line walks ! and 50% in standing stil filming a shot thank you
Hi Oliver, I agree! I'm Italian and I don't say my secret places on social media, for me going to the mountains also means silence, wind or storm sound, observation of animals, tune into nature and you can do it only if you are alone. In Northern Italy there are still wild places, without ski resorts, without tourism, of equal beauty if not more, but they must be kept secret otherwise mass tourism will arrive. Sometimes i am tempted to share the beauty of some places on instagram, but i don't do it to protect them.

Of the approximately 1000 UNESCO sites, Italy has 51, that is about 5%. So even the Italian artistic heritage cannot deviate so much from this percentage.Ciao

italy is one big museum with their cities, mountains, and lakes. it has the most unesco sites than any other it has 70% of the worlds arts.
70% is a bit exaggerated, I think it's around 5-6% which is still a lot.
