    Accommodation:
We stayed in small comfortable and not too expensive Bungalows at "Niwas Ayutthaya hotel" very close to the most important temples (address: 9H5C+X45, Tambon Tha Wa Su Kri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya 13000, Thailand)
    Restaurant:
We ate every day at the same restaurant...so that's a good sign!!! Le Malakor kitchen and café (address: ถนน Tha Wasukri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya 13000, Thailand)
    . Tips/ Activities
-Bangkok-Ayutthaya by train is a 2 hour journey.
Very important to buy your tickets: if like us you go to Hua Lamphong station you can only get 3rd class tickets (15 Baths). For a 2-hour trip, it's ok, there are even fans in the wagons.
If you want 2nd and 1st class tickets, you can buy them online but only from the new Krung Thep station, quite far from the tourist center of Bangkok.
-To visit the main temples of Ayutthaya you can buy a ticket which costs 220 baths valid for 30 days
-Renting bikes costs 60 baht per day, it is strongly recommended because the distance between each temple is long, however you will have to ride on the road among the cars. If you are not comfortable with this, the tuk tuk costs 300 baht per hour (you can negotiate cheaper with the driver).
    - If like us, you then go to Sukothai, the departure is from the "northbound" station with Asia road for example for 350 baht and 6 hours of travel!
    Have a good trip!!!
