    Our accommodation:
We stayed at Le Canal Boutique House, small rooms but very decent and well located on the border between the old town and the new town (address: 91 Sri Poom Rd, Tambon Si Phum, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand )
    Restaurants/bars. We tried:
.North gate jazz club (great music for a drink)
. Into the wood: good address for a brunch
.Arno's: If you're tired of Thai food, great burgers!
.Chang Phuak gate: night market to taste everything and cheap
.Baan Landai: Michelin star 4 years in a row, a bit more expensive but excellent!
. Rad rabbit: Vegan pizzas (Why not?)
    Tips / activities:
    1. Doi Suthep (45 mins/ 20km from Chiang Mai)
Half-day excursion to Wat Pha Lat then to the temple located at the top of the large stairs (300 steps!) of the Doi Suthep mountain. A private taxi from Chiang Mai for half a day is negotiated at 1000 baht / A shared tuk tuk 80 baht. Entrance to the Doi Suthep temple costs 30 baht per person
    2. Elephant jungle sanctuary
1700 baht half day. Don't bring your fancy suit, you'll get mud everywhere!
    4. Wat Chedi Luang
50baths per person. Do not miss the City Pillar Shrine (San Lak Mueang) located at the entrance to admire its colorful frescoes...however, access is forbidden to women (For complaints, contact Buddha directly!)
    5. Silver Temple
It's about a 10-minute walk south of the old city wall. So easily accessible on foot! Better to go there in the middle of the day to admire the brilliant reflections of the sun on the silver...It is also forbidden for women.
    6. Makkha Health & Spa
I can't tell you the price as it was my birthday present.
We also tested a spa where ex-prisoners undergoing rehabilitation give massages. Don't be afraid very professional massages!
