Shit was hoping you caught up to him for a shot ! I got on big racked 8 pointer December 7 in Maine after fresh snow . He had chased a doe all around then they bedded . I was hunting super slow and killed him as I peeked over top of another ridge after finding the beds ,they were feeding . Time was 1st light to 1:30
Only had one day to hunt on snow on Black Friday. Same thing happened to me. Went miles but he was always one step ahead. Things were different here in Massachusetts for me and tracked down a nice buck.
It's tough to put in the work and not come out on top. Congrats on a Mass buck. Went down there once and tracked down a biggun. He unfortunately shed his antlers already.
Chased one this season with the same result. Was on him for 10 miles, jumped multiple times, always seemed to be just ahead and setup well everytime. Internally ill replay the day, break it down, and try to figure out how i could've got a crack at that buck. Thanks for bringing us along for the hunt!
Great video, Travis! Turning off the track at the end of the day was the hardest for me. Glad you ended the season with a great buck!

Thanks. Yes, I call that Monday morning quarters backing my hunt. These days are far more common than successful ones.
