SilverStone race was actually the most entertaining race this season so far, so glad that Zhou is fine, and absolutely brilliant racing from everyone.

I like to see the wheel while you're playing. I like how it highlights the intensity of certain situations but if it's too much trouble it's all good.

Great to see you playing with the strategies... Starting on harder tyres at the back of the grid can work, as it does in real life.
Please do it more often... As I've pulled out some huge races on the back of it.
You can also ask your radio guy about weather forecasts and he'll give you an update on it
Don't think there's any point using hards in 25% length races but definitely agree he should mix up the strategies more often!
@@ryanator109 sorry I meant the harder of the 2 optimum compounds.
If you at the back or middle of the grid it's good sometimes to run this strategy and get a few places and have the faster softs for late in the race when the car is lighter and faster
Loving this series! Silverstone was insane! Would definitely prefer to be able to see the wheel and possibly even the pedals, but neither are a deal breaker I’m sure we will all keep watching either way

Hi Trev, if you wonder why Ferrari asked Carlos Sainz to keep Lewis at bay during the Safety Car, it was actually asked from him to leave "10 cars space with Leclerc" so that Leclerc has enough space for pitting under SC without making it a double stack with Sainz, which might have hampered both.
But Sainz refused because it would put him in jeopardy from Hamilton if HAM had pitted for softs.
But still, it was a questionable strategy from Ferrari, looking at the deltas it was actually possible to double stack them and still go out in front if they get it right. Unfortunately, they decided not to pit Leclerc.
BTW, don't worry about DRS in the wet, it's simply deactivated as soon as it's wet.
if you are able to hit more buttons while racing, using the radio button for on-demand weather reports from the engineer can be great for deciding when to pit for inters.
what are your driving assist? Do you plan on eventually getting rid of the driving line?

I'm probably nit picking but seein' the F1 style wheel on your face cam made it more immersive.
Sainz is my favorite driver so I am really stoked that he got his first win! And good for him for sticking up for himself and insisting on having the two Ferarri drivers battle it out. I like LeClerc, but if he could have won it himself, he would have been able to hold off Perez and Hamilton and he couldn't. It just shows that Sainz was right. And I'm SO HAPPY that Zhou was ok, that crash was so scary.

If you do the 5 laps for the race strategy practice program it will give you an option to select a personalized race strategy
Hey tmartn, if you go to corporate>contracts>driver perks you can upgrade resource point intake by 10% for 250k, u can also do acclaim and other stuff

If you use the full track map you can see when stjer people Pit, and you can plan ahead of the other drivers what you are going to do
hey Trev just a small tip regarding tyre strats: generally one uses the softer (faster) compounds at the beginning when all the cars are grouped up, as that small speed advantage makes a big difference. Here ofc the medium to inters was best tho :)

I like the wheel but I think in the end I’m equally as entertained. I think in a future vid having a wheel cam (like people do with controllers) could be really entertaining
take traction control off when the race is about to start then before the first corner put it on it will well you getting a good start

Also, Silverstone was the best F1 race I’ve ever seen. Checo fan here, so you can imagine my journey from huge disappointment in the beginning to complete elation at the end.

Driving in the rain is easier against the AI because of the Full Traction Control that's helping you out.
Could not agree with you more on Silverstone. So happy for Carlos but Charles got screwed quite badly by the poor strat. The most important thing is that Zhou and Albon and everyone else involved in the huge crash is ok
