Hey Gemma, two questions.. 1. what's the best platform to pre-sell your course on w/live webinars? and 2. how easy is it to switch from one platform to another? Thanks in advance, and thanks for all the great content.
Thank you. Very easy to follow and understand. I have courses on my website but trying to make it professional has been the biggest pain in the ass not being super techy. Podia sounds right up my alley.
You explained all these platforms for course creation really well! It was great to hear all the options and pricing along with benefits. Thanks so much!
Totally! That's why it's so important to understand the pro's and con's to each platform and choose the one that best suits YOUR biz. Not just what other people have used!
Very helpful! Good work! Small note the link to your website is not clickable in the description ...but I’m still going to visit your site 😀 Have a lovely day 😊
I have a question. I built a video learning website with monthly memberships. I want to use a platform that will protect my videos. When someone clicks on the link it will open a membership area to view the video lessons. I'm new at this and so overwhelmed and have spent weeks trying to research what I can do.Can you help me :)
Yeah you need somewhere that is password-protected, so not just anyone can see your videos. Any of these software programs I mentioned in the video above will do this!
i didn't know that.:)it was confusing having these diff.platforms. the way you explained the details ,was very helpful. Really depends on your priority as an entrepreneur. Thanks a lot :)
NONE of these are suitable for an online course business. Sure, they all offer the ability to ALSO offer videos, but I was unable to find a single solitary option mentioned in this video which offered the EXPLICIT purpose and intention of hosting a LIVE video which numerous other people could simultaneously log into to watch and experience a LIVE online classroom experience. - WITH the ability to charge each "student" an individual charge (set fee) for one-time access to each individual class they choose to participate in. That's ^^^^ what I am needing, and none of these options seems to be built around that concept.... unless I missed something?
Hey there! Thanks so much for the feedback! While not all of these platforms offer the option of hosting a LIVE event right inside the software, Podia does have the option of hosting a live event and inviting all your students or email subscribers to it. You simply need to be on their second tier plan! These platforms are more for courses that have pre-created content (text, images, video, etc). So if the LIVE component is the most important part for you, then maybe look into Podia! But for other people that simply want to host their course content that's already been created, these are all great options. Thanks!
@@GemmaBonhamCarter WOW, thank you for the response. Yes, a LIVE video course is the most important feature for me, as I am not at all interested in offering pre-recorded content. But in addition to offering LIVE classes, I also need the ability to restrict ppl from watching UNLESS they pay for access. Does Podia offer that feature?
@@john.wick1 There are definitely ways to do this through an email campaign that triggers for purchasers. Podia has a great customer service team that you can chat with live right on their website. I would have a chat with them! They also have a a free trial so you can test things out before you buy
Thank you so much for this breakdown, it was super helpful! I have shared it with others as well.
Glad it was helpful!
Im thinking about teachery or Podia! Thanks for the info!
Thanks ! I was already intuitively drawn to Podia and now you solidified that instinct 🎉
Thank you. I believe that Podia is the way to go...
Yes I was confused because I already have a website and definitely do not want to build another one. Thank you!

You can use the same platform for pre-selling! And it's pretty simple to switch from one to another. Time-consuming, but simple... :)
Thank you, I'm just getting started and you have provided me with very helpful advices. Thanks a lot
Very clear and concise! I love it! What are your thoughts on LearnWorlds LMS?

Big fat thank you, super helpful 🙏🏽♥️
Please is there an online course platform that pays out through visa or mastercard?
Thanks Gemma! Great video. Which platform allows you to have Live courses?
Ideally you would use something like Zoom to teach live, and then use a platform like these to upload other resources, replays, etc.
I'm still contemplating what platform to use. I started on on Teachable I might just stay on that platform.
Yep, if you like it, no need to change!
super helpful! thanks so much for this!!
so hard to choose because all the gurus seem to be on different platforms

We will definitely check that out!! Thanks so much for letting us know!
Many thanks for your clear breakdown. There are also platforms where you only purchase once a 'lifetime' service. Are they reliable? thanks

Do you have any tutorials on how to add content inside of Teachery? I just signed up and am learning.....
I do, inside of my paid programs. But if you go to their help section, Jason Zook (the founder/creator) has helpful articles and videos!
Super helpful. Thank you.
You're welcome!

Thank you !
