I adore the mother in the first case, she’s amazing and her son is too, he’ll be just fine.
It’s always another random woman that says… he’s not your kid. And a deadbeat dad that wants to believe that.
I dont know why women do that to each other. Instead of saying. Hey, you can be the father, but ive heard things. So just be safe and get a dna test to be sure. What if someone tells your bd the same thing, then he makes you a single mother. Do unto others!
It's not just a random woman, it's a woman who is actively trying to or has slept with the daddy. It's like COME ON, it's common sense if someone is trying to break you up to get with you themselves they are going to tell tall tales.

As long as you don’t get remarried you keep the benefits. The same thing goes for military spouses. As long as we don’t get remarried after they pass we keep all the benefits.

In the 2nd case, the mother kept wanting to explain the circumstances of how, why, & when she slept with several other men, but she clearly doesn't get that none of that even matters. The only fact that does matter, is that she did sleep around, thus the reason he wants a DNA test. And why be all sad about it, you can't expect the potential father to view the situation the same as you. So annoying 🙄

I don’t know why I’m on edge waiting for results like it’s affecting me. I guess it makes me realize how fortunate I am knowing who my parents are and growing up in household secure with both my parents where this was never an issue. Women and men both need to stop all the multiple sleepovers. Yaw know what it takes to make a baby.

I really wanted the second case to have a different result. That baby is doomed and its so sad.
Mostly doomed because of Daddy's "lifestyle". As Miss Ramos put it so gently, "he was away for a while"; usually, this is the equivalent to "Extended State Paid Vacation". She moved on, she just needed to shut everyone's mouth and prove he was the father (probably to put him on child support), but had no intention of letting him in the baby's life after his "vacation" and the way he and his new girl were slandering her.
You see, she can be anything you want, but she had plans with him to be a family - he knew what she'd done and continued the relationship - but he now has a newcomer that instills vitriol and slanders her. Way to shut them up, Miss Ramos! Mature, control your anger and tongue like Judge Lake told you, continue going to school and get your son a better life. Try to work out a way to get the bio father supervised visits without his new girl.

Case 2. She’s shameless and he’s smart to ask for a dna, whether the baby comes up as his or not.
He's a lowlife guy. Watch the case again and you'll start seeing tiny facts that were not very clear. She shut his mouth as well as the mouth of he new girl who were slandering her all over. She calmed down after the results came out and said exactly how she is living, what she's doing and why she doesn't want him in the baby's life. He seemed so decent, but his "absence for a while" was quite telling, if you look at Miss Ramos' expression when she mentions it. That usually is the equivalent to "State Paid vacations" at a State owned facility, if you get what I mean. And that's why he is afraid of her not letting him see the baby. Now he knows.

If Mr. Hines has been married to Mrs. Hines for 10 years or more, he is entitled to receive a Social Security benefit based on his wife's work record. He can start receiving those Spousal Benefits when Mrs. Hines retires.
It has no effect on the amount of her benefit.
This case is the other way around. He wanted to keep HIS benefits exclusively for himself, not wanting to share it with his wife of 42 years.

@@Ana_Ines3420 Not true. The woman lied. Support for someone on SSI doesn't go up if SSI goes up because the top payment for SSI is still below the min requirement for child support. So even if it goes up, support doesn't go up. She just made a lie that sounded good. None of what she said is how support works.

It's really annoying when they say "I couldn't divorce her/him I didn't know where they were." Yes, you can get a divorce without knowing where the other person is. You need to run an Ad in the paper in the last city you knew where they were declaring your intention to divorce. I know this because I have had to do it after my ex abandoned me and our children.

Just because you get divorced doesn't mean your former spouse will not get your social security. After 10 years the spouse would qualify to apply for 1/2. There will be a clause stating that the former spouse will receive 1/2 of their social security.
True but it’s not them taking 1/2 of your check. It allows for them to receive SS for themselves up to half the amount of what you receive. For example you get $1,200/mo from SS your wife can get $600/mo and you both combined would get $1,800/mo as a household

When the absent parent doesn't pay when they are supposed to.
There's a litrle concept called "in arrears," which is a value that accumulates when you dont pay it in the 18 years you are supposed to. As a result, if child care expenses cost $10k and it is split evenly, where the dad pays 5k, the mother ultimately paid the whole $10k bill during those years, so she is rightfully entitled tp the 5k she paid out of pocket to cover the non-payments by the deadbeat. In child support they run a formula on the parent's income and they are supposed to pay that amount every month. The deadbeat dad just didn't pay what the courts ordered him to so that came out of the mother's pockets. The mother is now owed what the deadbeat should have paid her.
The American justice system will not leave you alone. Since the system pays minimum for the child, once the father is known, he will pay, until the debt is settled. Be it 18 dollars or 100 dollars a term.
The first case dad is just a sad case. He just ruined the relationship with the only person who loved him enough to look out for him when he was down.
If I could have one wish I would wish that everyone who wanted kids would have to go through a psychological evaluation, a financial evaluation, an emotional evaluation before bringing more trauma filled hurt kids into the world

Been separated from my husband for 9 years. Don’t want any man in my life and just don’t see paying money for a divorce (money I don’t have) when it doesn’t effect my life.
Unfortunately he is legally considered your next of kin over your parents or siblings. Please set up a healthcare proxy otherwise he can come in and make medical decisions for you if you are ever hospitalized and unable to . He can also come in a seize assets or bar your family from the hospital. Saw it with a friend of family estranged from wife for over 10 years she swooped in took him off life support, and took the assets.
Another instance person died from hospital neglect estranged wife came in sued the hospital and the settled the lawsuit his parents/siblings got nothing. 🙅🏽♀️
