  • In our last episode of 2023, we carry up a couple old chairs and refurbish them. We also build a table from scratch using 2x6 pine for the top and 2x4 cedar for the legs. We stain and varnish the top, and get to use our table for the first time by celebrating our anniversary with a chocolate fondue. Santa also visited the cabin and gave us our plaque recognizing our 100,000 subscribers, so we install it in the cabin! We finish the video with our bloopers from 2023, so stick to the end if you want some good laughs!
Welcome to our channel! This Log Cabin Project is a dream that we have had for several years that we finally decided to make a reality. Our goal is to build a tiny log cabin from scratch using as much material from our land as possible. We are building it entirely using hand tools (no chainsaw!). This cabin will function fully off-grid and will be only accessible by foot. Subscribe to follow our journey!
We are learning a lot as we are doing (as always), so don't hesitate if you have any questions, it will be a pleasure to share tips and tricks, if possible.

You should leave some of the bloopers in your videos.we get to see a different side to you. The fun side ,not so serious. Merry Christmas.

My husband and I have been married this coming June 2024 for 20 years (together for 22). As two people whom are in a great relationship I want to share with you both one secret and you already do it. You make each other laugh, you laugh together and you laugh at each other. The cabin looks fantastic and being able to watch this journey has been rewarding to me. Will continue watching and good luck in this journey you are taking together; I can already see success.

I have been following you from the beginning of your Chanel. I enjoyed your Bloopers more than any prior presentation. Your usually Dry Engineering approach , was so much improved by the Spontaneity seen in them. I like you as a couple more than ever now!

I appreciate your sensitivity towards not wanting to cut down a live tree. Your thoughtfulness towards preserving nature and avoiding the cutting of trees deserves applause. Environmental consciousness is a crucial aspect for the sustainability of our planet. I hope this mindset becomes more widespread, and natural resources are used more consciously.

As soon as you put that last black pipe fitting on your table, I knew exactly what you were about to make. I did the same thing in my bathroom. Used the same fittings and end cap too.
