Airfix Mk1 Ford Escort Banger Team Final - Making Kit Plastic Look Like Damaged Metal Without Metal

A very late final video to the Small Scale GB 2024. Six weeks late but we finally got the Escort Racing Team finished. Two very different restorations of the Airfix 1/32 scale MK1 Ford Escort, one show room stock, one beat up banger racer and a scratch built trailer thrown in for good measure.
No pre-assembly on this one, just straight into the video to see the results of how we make kit plastic look like damaged metal.. definitely a challenge on such a small scale but final result looks convincing even without the use of aluminium or copper sheet.
