Thanks for your comments Rob, hope you enjoyed your tour of Scotland. The Lavvu with a woodstove is such a good winter set up, that i find it hard going back to sitting outside in freezing cold wind and rain under a tarp, must be getting old a bit now lol
Col Newman We certainly did and met some very nice people too, one guy asked how my luck was while fishing then after hearing I'd no bites came back with a bag of surplus Mackerel he'd caught earlier.....gobsmacked at this generosity to a stranger. On the tarp and cold I am with you...warm weather only, that said most of our trips are now in a camper van but I miss the wood stoves that were my sole means of cooking and heat when I first lived in Crete :-) atb Rob
