Prime Arcee (To me) was arguably one of the best characters of Transformers Prime. She was very tragic, a badass, but also a complex character. Her character arc & character development is what made me love how her character was in terms of story.
When they cut Ironhide due to his death in Dark of the Moon potentially going to confuse kids but Arcee had died in Revenge of the Fallen, while Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave all died in Dark of the Moon
@@KnightsRealm98 Yeah, and Ironhide’s concept looked nice for TF Prime, sad he got replaced by Bulkhead, also is Prowl being replaced by Barricade in the 2007 film since the filmmakers wanted a bad cop Decepticon a good idea or would that be considered a bad idea?
I wish we had seen more Cliffjumper before his death IN THE FIRST EPISODE. Maybe highlighting a little bit the relationship between Arcee and Cliffjumper would maybe Arcee's journey more impactful. Also, I love this version of Cliffjumper. All things considered, I truly enjoyed this version of Arcee and Transformers Prime is just awesome, even without that.
I quite agree. Prime Arcee is truly great. For all the reasons you so well put here. She was given a abrand new and pretty badass design, a facinating (yet tragic) background and the opportunity to learn from her mistakes, grow up and develop into a friend, a teacher and a mentor. I'll dare to go as far and say that Prime Arcee is the best Arcee of them all. Much like Armada Starscream is the best Starscream of them all: He too broke the namesake archetype. He's strong, intelligent, loyal and cares about the wellbeing of his homeland and people, despite letting his flaws, like hotheadedness, impulsivity, stubborness and thirst for validation and respect getting in his way. I think that he'd do well in the prime universe. He'd be Megatron's trusted right-hand. The soldiers would be at ease, knowing that their commander cares about them and strives to improve their training. Skyquake and Dreadwing will look at him like he's their son/nephew. Knock Out and Breakdown would reagrd him as a dear friend. Even Soundwave and Shockwave, while not openly friendly towards him, would feel at ease around him. And as for the Autobots, they'd certainly learn to respect and somewhat fear his strength, loyalty, intelligence and ferocity. Though he'd have to watch out for prime starscream and arachnid who would gladly try to either make him lose favour with Megatron or even plot to murder him. Personally, I think that he and Prime Arcee are fairly similar. And him hating Airachnid and Prime Starscream with a passion would have been a major bonus in her book. But what do you think on the matter? Do you think that Prime Arcee and Armada Starscream can see eye to eye? *I also look forward to an analysis video on Armada Starscream, like you had said you were thinking to do when you addressed the phsychology of Starscream. I hope it'll be posted soon
I think tfp soundwave and Armanda starscream would get along the best. They’d easily be megatrons most loyal comrades. Also considering Armada starscream is a lot more strong willed, predaking would likely respect as well
@@Don_east certainly. While armada starscream would definitely connect easier to skyquake and dreadwing (similar backgrounds, similar functions and the elder seekers wanting to take the younger one under their wing) I can definitely see armada starscream and prime soundwave having a good professional relationship at least. Exchanging nods and greetings, starscream coming to check on soundwave and his work, soundwave potentially vouching for starscream in case Megatron starts to get a little paranoid over the fact that armada starscream might be TOO competent and popular. "Remind me of his trustworthiness." Record in starscream's voice: "we swore to live, fight and die in the name of a strong and prosperous Cybertron under the strong rule of Lord Megatron. And this exactly what I am going to do! Who will stand with me?"
@@Don_east you've raised a great point for predaking. I think that, while armada starscream would have been initially wary of him (mostly out of concern for his men than of his own safety -I can definitely see him going to shockwave and tell him that while his creation is unprecedented and impressive, he won't deny that he worries for his men) if commanded by his lord to train the "beast", he'd do it. And with him being a strong willed individual, as well as one who's not cruel and petty and is not afraid to praise and respect others, predaking would probably respect him enough to actually obey him. I wonder how armada starscream would have handled the discovery of his new friend becoming sentient though. What do you think?
@@BronyLord-wo1ym I like the thought that they used to be unique, and then Shockwave happened. Like a form of brainwashing combined with genetic engineering
My guess would be that they are just average cybertronians that sided with Megatron when the civil war on cybertron began. They didn't look decepticon like back in The Golden Age of Cybertron. Once they've sided with Megatron, they changed their look to resemble The Decepticon Faction.
