I like Martina McBride and the song and the video even though it is sad
I was crying right there with you. You are absolutely right. A child should not have to suffer like that. I had forgotten what a powerful and emotional singer Martina McBride is, though I understand she doesn't sing any more.

Been there. My dad would regularly beat and assault me and my mom. When I was 17, I decided to deal with it since law enforcement wouldn't. He was a cop, BTW. Anyway, I gave him a taste of his own medicine. He survived. He also never touched us again.
I have a similar story. My mother beat me until one day I took the stick from her and broke it in half and handed back to her. After that she never laid her hands on me ever again. Thereâs always a point where it ends even if itâs death.

On October 1, the premiere of a stunningly beautiful OST video for the song âBaikalâ took place on Diana Ankudinovaâs TH-cam channel.
The soundtrack performed by Diana became the main musical theme of the film âThe Spirit of Baikal,â which will be released in wide release on October 19, 2023.
In the film itself, Diana voiced two roles - the spirit of Lake Baikal and the voice of the soul of the deceased mother of the main character of the film. The film received several top awards at film festivals.
Baikal is the deepest, oldest, freshwater lake on Earth (22-23 percent of all fresh surface water), it is a place of power, the spiritual center of shamans, different religions - Shamanism , Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, a pristine place not yet touched by civilization.

True story :). Martinaâs niece was murdered by Martinâs sister (she was 7 years old when Martinâs sister murdered her) So sad when a lot of people are waiting to adopt! I mean geez if you are going to murder a child it would be best to give them to an adoption agency. But thatâs just me! Great reaction!

Even though this is just a music video, we know this happens in the world many times every day. What amazes me is that billions of people believe in an all=powerful and all-seeing god who stands by watching this happen and chooses to do nothing about it. Such a god, if real, isn't deserving of our love and devotion and is no better than no god at all.
Although I myself don't fully condone with CA & DV, there's gotta be obstacles in all things. Otherwise, how would we learn to break the cycle ourselves & grow from it? Now I know I'm not God of all things, because it's not my place to judge & punish the evils of humanity, since that's only His position anyway.
Yet, I often wonder if the only way for these vicious acts of cruelty to completely stop it from constantly occurring over & over again, is that evil people who act beyond selfish enough to commit such violence towards the defenseless & voiceless should be sorely visited by divine intervention itself, like they should be. When things like this happen, I question God about why He can't just wipe all wickedness off the face of this Earth now, since it'd be so easy for Him.
Then I think & take great faith & comfort in knowing that there truly is an afterlife, & the fact that all abused children, adults & even animals alike, are not gonna be gone forever from those that deeply love & miss them. I reassure you if this novel comment on this video ever becomes a long conversation thread with you, don't ever give up on the hope of people affected being made fully whole again. Because we will of course once more see all those that died from abuse when that time comes.
I take great comfort in knowing that although all types of abusers & murderers are not always temporally caught & fully punished for their crimes, God will handle all of that once the world comes to an actual halt. He will justly punish those accordingly that stand guilty of these sinful acts before Him in the last days. Yes, the amount of worldly sin is agonizing & infuriating, but it will only last until after Christ comes againððð§
