Southland Mall Sold-A Message from Cutler Bay Mayor

On April 29, 2022, Southland Mall-located in Cutler Bay's Town Center District-was sold to Electra America and BH Group, a Miami-based private real estate investment and development firm, for $100.35 million.
The new owners are planning for a mixed-use redevelopment of the 80-acre site with commercial and residential components.

We need expansion of metrorail to Florida City. Better faster public transportation. On Saturdays 3.3 miles to Publix can take you 20 30 minutes. So sad and concerning.

I hope this development isn't taller than the 5-story buildings mentioned here. The model shown on the CBS4 news clip recently included 18-story buildings.
