I’m kinda happy that Sia isn’t that famous, bc if she was the radio would over play all her songs like they do with other hit songs. In my opinion the radio ruined chandelier and cheap thrills for me, bc they overplayed them.
So I feel it with the song "my snowman and me" by SIA. There is something in her voice that can come directly from the depths of her soul or her heart. I don't know if it's related to the fact that three years ago, just before Christmas, my son died suddenly in hospital on November 7th, 2017 (36 hours after birth) and I probably unconsciously heard this song on the radio many times. Perhaps I subconsciously associate it with this terrible event and SIA's voice is just as emotional and plucking at the "right" string of my heart. Do you understand WHAT I mean by that? This song is so incredibly wonderful and beautiful and you can interpret it in different ways for yourself and certain situations. Personally, it is SO for me that the ☃snowman is my 👨husband, which I would follow ALL IN the world. Even to the North Pole, So VERY I love him, even after 20 years of being together. Sia is amazing. The raw emotion in her voice brings tears to my eyes. It reminds me of a man I was in love with. I always waited for him patiently... on Christmas I played this song waiting for him to drive over. He pointed up, and he had mistletoe. I smiled, and kissed him, and just like the song, I said, "Oh, I adore ya!" It was a beautiful moment. We are no longer together, but my heart still aches for him. Listening to this song reminds me of that wonderful moment. The video with the little girl and her Snowman made me cry. Their love is so sincere, genuine, and pure. The love I once had with the man I lost. When I listen to this song, I do cry, but in a melancholy, bittersweet way. It reminds me of wonderful times, yet makes me long for them once more. Sia, you are wonderful.
