Good times offroad I had a Detroit locker in my 9 inch rear end, spent most of the time in 2 WD, until it’s time for 4*4. Mine was the 85 full-size Bronco, still love the look of this model. It’s always been FORD
Now if he had the blessed 460 big block then you already knew he would've flown straight through that hole.... and then straight to the gas station LOL
All you need is a 3 inch body lift to put 35s under it. I have a 90 with 6 inches of lift and the 35's look kinda small. I can fit 37's under it without rubbing. My 84 has 33's under it and it is stock. I plan on putting a 3 inch body lift on it in the near future then maybe an 6-8 inch lift on it down the line
I used to have one of these.., pulled many chevys out at Rose Valley Ventura in my 1984Bronco..That motor sounds real good.. I got a 1984f250 now with a rebuilt 1994 351Windsor, With a rv cam kit.
In my opinion the Ltb's are the best mud tire all around for sloppy mud except for the bogger. but when you compare the cost the ltb is the best choice! and i never went over 65 with them on but they handeled fine on the road
Jeeps are the real peices! them things won't go through a dern mud puddle compared to the old broncos and i did come on out once i put it in 4wd. That was my daily driver at the time so i had to baby it or break it and have nothin to drive!
I had a 6" Superlift Superrunner on my '92 and my '94. My 35's ribbed the radius arms and the fenders during hard wheeling. But I had ALL the sway bars removed and was hitting the Big Bear trails pretty hard. It was a good lift, but I kept losing my camber. Also, it comes with a 6" front lift and a 4.5" rear. I threw out the 4.5" and put Skyjacker 6" springs in. I loved it
Dang Cletus, I knew them new mud tires would do the trick. I just don't know what went wrong. Suppose next time I could try having a buddy in there to hold my beer.
Shit my 90 f150 would have made through that with my highway tires. Just have to hammer down man! I went through a bunch of holes like that in highschool
yeah you heard me right! not a bit of rubbing! not on the body, not on the radius arms! it all depends on what the offset on your rims are too. i aint running no stock rims by anymeans. Those are outlaw racing rims and i got the most offset that i could find and now its got the 4 inches and 35's with the drop brackets for the radius arms so they are still stock and they don't rub at all either so you bronco must be an 87 or up if your having those problems
@downndirty4x4 Umm... the AOD came out in 1980, and ford started putting them in bronco's in 82. My 84 is one of them that came with the 302/AOD combo. just cause yours has a C6 doesn't mean thats all there was... also, I highly suggest you look into a set of lockers and some momentum.
Always lock your hubs before going out to play ..That way you can shift your transfer case into 4wheel .. friend did what you did got stuck in so deep mud ,lock his hubs in and blew his spindles and hubs at the same .. but the same time it was a chevy .. just saving protect your truck, Bronco .
@Jon Baker I have a 1990 f150 before I lifted it the 33s I had would rub the sway bar...if you are going to stay stock get offset rims for the 33s so it wont rub
@downndirty4x4 c6... is that what motor's in there? is it 'linked' with a chain drive... anyways how come this guy keeps floorin it so much, and why is everyone so clean, is everyone wearing those stain defender pants? Those are some gnarly trails, very muddy..
did you really just ask if it had an AOD? i mean back in 1984 they didn't even consider putting in an over drive so to answer that no! its got a C6 3 speed with a np208 transfer case linked to the ford 8.8 rearend with stock gears
nice bronco, lock it in 4wd before you get stuck in 2wd otherwise u will only have front wheel drive if u have bottomed out...or just hammer it! Post some more with full throttle!
no i had to put it in 4wd and mrsvtcobra, i don't think that you will be able to fit 35's with 4 inches on that model with out rubbing because my buddy has 4 inches up under his 95 f150 and his 35x12.50's rub
im about to get an 89 bronco 302 and im actually gonna put almost the exact same tires as he has on his, and i was wondering what size lift do you have if any, and do you have any tire rub? truck looks and sounds great btw good job
ok thanks guitartarts. now i do have airbags in the front end and was told it had a 2 inch suspension lift. would that make enough of a difference to be able to run 33's? i currently have 32x11.5x15's and they have room to spare.
as far as the full size broncos go roughly 6000 lbs is not light dude. the early models might have considered light but not these tanks. all they need is tires and gears
@downndirty4x4 Im thinkin about gettin a set of these in 35" for my Expedition 4x4, how do they handle on the road and on highway, and how are they at self cleaning in sloppy mud?
this guy has know idea how to drive thru mud.
Wonder what happens when he comes up to a roundabout??
He also doesn’t know how to roll up windows
Beautiful Bronco... Too bad it needs a new owner/ driver.
You mad that it's actually being used?
@@redtra236 no mad this dude wont step on the gas pedal
2 wheel drive, mudding? 🤦🏼♂️
@@deerharvester7355 4*
Lol, manual locking hubs... Oh how I remember those days. Definitely a pain when you get stuck and actually have to dig them out.
That’s why you lock them before hand if you suspect a scenario like this haha
hahaha he didnt lock the hubs, dont deserve the right to say you drive a bronco.
Goonshit exactly
The ONLY good thing about this video is showing the stark advantage of 4WD over 2WD.
Yeah that always drives me crazy, "let's dig and get hung up in 2wd, then put it in 4wd, then not giving a little throttleto clean the wheels".
Good times offroad I had a Detroit locker in my 9 inch rear end, spent most of the time in 2 WD, until it’s time for 4*4. Mine was the 85 full-size Bronco, still love the look of this model. It’s always been FORD

I don’t think these bullnose broncos were offered with the 460
Legend has that the lockers are still locked to this day
Looks like the opposite
Форд Бронко. Как же я хотел эту машину в 90-х!! Это мечта молодости!
Driver has never heard of momentum
Yup, always lock your hubs, when you leave the pavement
All you need is a 3 inch body lift to put 35s under it. I have a 90 with 6 inches of lift and the 35's look kinda small. I can fit 37's under it without rubbing. How are they on the wet road?
Back up n give it gas. Keep doin it brother.
Y'all Have A Blessed Day
The buddies commentary is what made this video 😂😂😂
Dude makes the Bronco look bad! Hit it hard and fast Son! That advice will work for several things.
Jeeps are the real peices! them things won't go through a dern mud puddle compared to the old broncos and i did come on out once i put it in 4wd. That was my daily driver at the time so i had to baby it or break it and have nothin to drive!
302 with glass packs and no cats. its nothing but true dual pipes with a glass pack on each one.
That was weak why would you even record it
...and then post it
Drifting maniac I know where every pedal is but the middle one! My 5 broken axle shafts proves it
Have a feeling he doesn’t get out much haha
bro dont be a girl and hit the mudd hole its a bronco i have one too it can take it man.
I had a 6" Superlift Superrunner on my '92 and my '94. My 35's ribbed the radius arms and the fenders during hard wheeling. @downndirty4x4 i agree on the ltb's, had some on an 87 bronco and it was unstoppable
I wish my 87 looked that good! Jeeps are cute.... Barbie drives one
LITTLE thing called momentum ! You need more momentum !!!
Dang Cletus, I knew them new mud tires would do the trick. I just don't know what went wrong. Suppose next time I could try having a buddy in there to hold my beer.
When in doubt tach it out. and i am clearing 38s on my 85 bronco with no lift, there is some minor fender trimming though
He's learning man
I just bought me an '88 ford Bronco 4x4 with a 9 inch lift and still haven't been muddin! Apparently I'm too old for that shit! 😂
Shit my 90 f150 would have made through that with my highway tires. Just have to hammer down man! I went through a bunch of holes like that in highschool
I love how much he babies his truck
yeah you heard me right! not a bit of rubbing! not on the body, not on the radius arms! it all depends on what the offset on your rims are too. i aint running no stock rims by anymeans. My favourite truck in gta
sounds sweet i love it!!
Nice ride but i woulda attacked it with 4 hi. Wonder if this guy still has it...
SWEEET BRONCO...

@Jon Baker I have a 1990 f150 before I lifted it the 33s I had would rub the sway bar...if you are going to stay stock get offset rims for the 33s so it wont rub
That thing sounds like it has as much horsepower as my lawnmower
I doubt you own a lawnmower..
yeah! you can say that again! I got 4 inch suspension up under it now and this hole aint no problem for the ol bronco in 2wd now
Nice full size matching spare tire.
I have an '86 weighs 4700 bone stock with full tank. Maybe the older ones were 6k, but not the '80's models.
@downndirty4x4 c6... is that what motor's in there? is it 'linked' with a chain drive... anyways how come this guy keeps floorin it so much, and why is everyone so clean, is everyone wearing those stain defender pants? Those are some gnarly trails, very muddy..
I run 36x13.50's with 6in lift, no swaybars, no rub. You need proper offset wheels and your tires wil clear.
What a piece
Mudding? Lmfao deeper mud just getting up my driveway. Trust me I hear about it every day cause wifey has to walk up the driveway.
I've got a 79' with a 4" lift and it does ok with 38.5" pro comps..a little rub with full articulation or when turning too sharp
I have been running them for two years now and they still look like brand new but i have about 10000 miles on them at this point
Bronco 💪💪
thats an awesome bronco
did you really just ask if it had an AOD? i mean back in 1984 they didn't even consider putting in an over drive so to answer that no! its got a C6 3 speed with a np208 transfer case linked to the ford 8.8 rearend with stock gears
Ребята, здесь Нива- Шевроле нужна! Мотор красиво поёт!!!
*Casey Blanton* What does ltbs tires stand for?!
That sounds pretty good what u got glasspacks?
nice bronco, lock it in 4wd before you get stuck in 2wd otherwise u will only have front wheel drive if u have bottomed out...or just hammer it! Post some more with full throttle!
Eso hasta un Spark 🚙 lo pasa manejándolo una abuelita 👵🏻

I recognize that style tag...
Lol same
the old bronco is now has a 4 inch suspension lift up under it and also 35's so no problem now
always have mine locked in just incase it does get stuck. no swamping around locking the front hubs lol just grab 4x4 an let it eat
That is either a tired old motor or a very loose torque converter
Lock lock lock lock maaan before you go,no after
Looks like he should be driving a Civic.
im about to get an 89 bronco 302 and im actually gonna put almost the exact same tires as he has on his, and i was wondering what size lift do you have if any, and do you have any tire rub? truck looks and sounds great btw good job
I've got an '89 with a 302 on 35's and had it up to the doors in mud, still drove out.
did you have to put a lift kit on to fit the tires
That's nice. STFU
ok thanks guitartarts. now i do have airbags in the front end and was told it had a 2 inch suspension lift. would that make enough of a difference to be able to run 33's? i currently have 32x11.5x15's and they have room to spare.
What kind of exhaust does it have sounds beautiful & what engine is it ?
what type of exoust set up u got gowing on from engine all the way to exoust tips and engine size?
i love lamp
I have 4 inches of lift and 35x12.5/15 procomp m/t's on my 94 bronco eddie baur edition they don't rub at all and I wheel it alot.
They'll Clear. Buddy had a 82 bronco 4' lift with 35' swampers.
Nice Bronco
As for the comments about rubbing. Just get off set wheels. Plus that will give you a wider more stable stance.
does that thing have an AOD in it? No wonder it keeps getting stuck..
Sounds like a cammed 5.0 or 5.8
lockers woulda gotten u out=]
Do the 33s rub a lot since there's no lift?
You done this before bud?
@MrSVTc0bra my 85 has a 4" lift and i've got 35s on it. they rub a bit if i turn too sharp but i still have a decent turn radius without rubbing.
Replaced the oem with warn hubs. Never broke one again back in 1995.
nice bronco. i have a 94 on a 10 inch lift. I love broncos lol is yours a 351 or the 302
Boys being boys😂🎉
as far as the full size broncos go roughly 6000 lbs is not light dude. the early models might have considered light but not these tanks. all they need is tires and gears
what do you think ppl? should she stop?
@downndirty4x4 Im thinkin about gettin a set of these in 35" for my Expedition 4x4, how do they handle on the road and on highway, and how are they at self cleaning in sloppy mud?
my 85 came with the 9 inch rearend and windsor biatch!!!
This guy!!!
Looks like the tires are out of shape for mudding
@MIdru313 c6 is the kind of transmission that is in it. it has a 302 motor and no
Ese chofer No sabe manejar tremendo carro en esas condiciones
Only if he had some throttle control. But I guess this is what happens when Street Queens go off road.
city driver mudding
1984 ford bronco. beautiful. love the bronco except the first generation. too small, jeep-like, and dont like the looks. but 78-96 was nice.
good ole South Carolina!
What exhaust do you have in that???
I also have an 84,and I can't find anything that will work with this year of bko.....
I was about to state that Ford used the 9" rear and not the 8.8"...but fartharmonix beat me to it.
@downndirty4x4 where did you get your true duals? custom or did you find a kit somewhere
