Hey! I think you might have one of those star notes with the error on Washington's jacket/scarf area like I have where pieces are missing. Please examine it more closely. At 06:44. A follow up would be nice.
+HiddenTreasureHunter Hey! I think you might have one of those star notes with the error on Washington's jacket/scarf area like I have where pieces are missing. Please examine it more closely. At 06:44. Please inspect that note!!!!!
+Bob Smith I have noticed from my own hunting and watching HTH's videos that is is all a matter of luck. Sometimes you get skunked but I would say it is about 1:100. Usually you find at least one star note in a 100 notes or 2 when searching maybe two hundred notes. NO gurantee they will be in the stack.
+Expatriate American thanks for your reply I actually started looking in ones recently and I have found 3 star notes in $500 so far. Also found the serial number 60388304 in change! So close o a radar.
+American Abroad Actually I've found plenty of those and I used to put them in my odd notes pile. But have since returned all of them to the bank. As the overall collection grows you need to cull. As such the collection gets better and more unique.
Hi. how about a bill with five number 7s in a row? is it work and money? besides $1 dollar? and also there is some art work on paper money going around I'm hearing people are collecting and selling for very good money from a artist named "Tango five" . I heard they have been mostly been in California? are they worth any money? Take care.
6520-6519 close but no cigar. Usual story. One off from a true repeater. I have returned those...sadly. 5-711-711-4 same thing. I would have kept it if it began with a 4 or ended with a 5 (bookend). 00005543 probably keep as a low or a quad. 22-99-66-44 definite keeper (4 pair) very rare. Star notes I keep. That's what got me started in this strange collection. Thanx for the vid.
I would keep that first one. 65206519 is cool. Blocks of decreasing fours. That doesn't happen that often. You might never see something similar ever again. It is a rare phenomenon.
+DaCoolChiken I just made this terminology up. If you think about it is a block of four numbers with a block of four numbers that immediately proceeds it that is one less. 65206519, another example if you found it would be 85328531 or 94589457 and so on. I found one that was 24002300 and I love it. It is a thousand ladder I guess you could call it. I like how you can break it down into blocks. Always interesting and very unique.

Bro, you have some MASSIVE BALLS to say that on a TH-cam video of all things
Massive respect

Hey HiddenTreasure, you inspired me to start strap hunting, and had some real good luck with it. Thanks for the videos!
How do you get money for these bills , who pays you for odd numbers?
$1,000.00 IN TENS COMING NEXT!!!
How common are the star notes? Is it worth getting say $100 in ones a week? Or will I probably not find many in that low of a quantity?

You should keep the 00005543 because notes with a serial number of 00015000 and under are very collectible and sought after by some people.
thanks!
Once again, no problem! :) I know good few things here and there about bills so if you ever need help for anything just ask me if you want to.
Nice video!
+SuperZombiekillar thanks a lot!
Have you ever found a silver certificate hunting through bank straps?
I liked that serial number that started with the 0000 and the trinary that had zeroes, one's and two's. Thanks for the video.
what do the star on the notes mean?
I been doing this for a while now, I look for no repeat of numbers , no doubles . no two numbers alike , good luck .

At the rate you're searching through notes, you will come across a legendary note soon :)
+SouL LT What would be an example of a legendary note?
+Steven Einstein i would say a note with a 00000001 number
jacob karpeal
Im new to this and I didnt really understand what is being looked for, but i get it now.
I think there were a couple of keepers in there. I like the Low serial numbered ones for sure. ttyl -Drew

+DaCoolChiken I just came off with another term. Offset ladder pairs. For example I found a note 27442643. I will keep it.
Expatriate American Oh! I get it! Thank you so much!
American Abroad Collecting Currency Abroad I found a similar one that was G18391838I
i wonder what the person at the bank says when you say, Can I withdraw $1,500 worth of ones. You should Totally do Pennies net but only $150 worth
