I'm glad someone has a video showing one of these packs used for something other than strictly trades work. Of course, that's what these Veto packs are intended for, however they have the potential to be applicable to other fields and use cases, so seeing someone have one side dedicated to a laptop is refreshing. I'm looking at this as an engineering student that has an existing bag for a laptop and light paperwork, the water bottle holder in particular is important, and not something I've seen on any other tech pac video.
Thanks for posting this ! I am a controls tech as well. I work mostly with PLC’s never done robotic work. I was thinking about getting this bag but didn’t see any in depth videos talking about it.
Thanks for the in-depth look and comments on the pack, I am an HVAC controls engineer and was looking to see if this would work for me, and this helped me decide.
Yes! A real deep dive! Thank you. You saved me from wasting my money. If my Klein gives out I might give the veto a try , but I wanted a bag to hold my laptop, meters AND tools and I see now that the laptop side is too thin to hold the laptop and meters. Might still wanna try it though if the Klein gives out. It’s on year 3.
You were this just about a week or two shy of their new EDC backpack release. You should still check it out because with the super limited number of tools you carry it would be much better suited for you. It also solves most of your issues with this bag like side compartments for you bottles. Better organization for your cables and most importantly a middle compartment for your monitor with a perfect sleeve. Also travels really nicely and a lot better for flights etc. Pics are suck per usual with veto but there is a vid if you YT it that shows the bag at 3:15…. Also the tech sack from LTT would be perfect for all your peripherals like mouse, power brick, usb drives and dongles etc.for either bag

Thanks for the info. I'm checking both out now 👍
You’re definitely a nerd 😂 you measured the slots for tools to make sure you’re correct, nice video thanks
