Rejecting God's pardon is like how Judas would rather hang himself than going back to Jesus and ask for forgiveness like Peter did. Judas' "regret" was fueled by pride and self-righteousness.

Peter felt guilty for denying Jesus too and he regreted so much that he cried so hard and returned back to Jesus for His fogiveness, and thats called repentance with humility.

@@karentmp9168 I've watched hours of Mr. Turek. From his preaching or lecturing on Cross Examined, to him being dismantled in open debate with Mr. Hitchens. He has not presented factual, scientific evidence in the manner you pretend he does. Even when I was a Christian I would have found his defense of murder and slavery as repugnant and nonsensical.
Heartbreaking. Can you imagine how God feels? Pray for this lost soul that he accepts one day Jesus Christ as his lord and savior. Before it’s to late. The grace window is closing and he is coming back very soon for his church.

The Lord even creates wicked people for the day of wrath. Who created the crooked serpent? And who can make straight that which God has made crooked? The Lord Jesus blinds people and sends them strong delusion that they should believe a lie. He shuts people's ears and speaks in parables, lest they should believe and be converted. The Lord Jesus Christ is a terrible God who is to be greatly feared.

Man has little to do with it. We witness or preach the gospel because it has the power to save. But you should know this REV.?

In 2 Peter 3:9 God's word points to the fact that "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." Please consider this.

Yep. But he won't get in by his own works- just relying on the Saviour completely to save him. And none of us are completely perfect until we get to heaven although a believer with true faith will see sanctification in their lives.

Ray, I love how you're so genuine, gentle, and sincere in your pleading with these people. It's so easy to flip into argument when people are as stubborn as this guy, but you maintain an attitude of a loving parent pleading with his child to make a right choice. I know these people feel God's love through your attitude and words. Thank you for your example.

This video is one of my favorites because it is like hard ball with the questioning from the man. Ray gives great answers.
I've never heard that one before either! The thing is, the physical and mental pain we are allowed to experience on this earth is nothing in comparison to an eternity without the presence of the Lord which is pain beyond compression! This verse came to mind- "He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous." (Matthew 5:45) Therefore, any pain in this life (and conversely, any blessings of happiness) is nothing in comparison to an eternity without the blessings of mercy of God!

I've had a glimpse of hell before Jesus saved me. It was horrific. It's like the presence of pure evil and fear without escape or hope. Like a nightmare when you wake up sweaty and with a dry mouth. The feeling of demons all around you. Jesus helped me out of there. I kept praying "Lord let me fear no evil" and eventually I got out of there. It's a terrifying place, and we should really tell people about JESUS so they don't have to go there

This guy brings up a very intuitive point. If someone sinned very frequently for 50 years and those sins were grave, while another person sinned half that amount with half the gravity for the same 50 years and they both were equally contrite in the eyes of God, it wouldn’t make sense if they both were equally judged/exonerated. That’s why the idea of purgatory makes sense to me. It makes sense that if you do accept Jesus, he would accept you into his kingdom, but given all of the complexity of each person’s experience, we would all have slightly (or largely) different levels of sin, repentance, contrition and absolution...so then if we died before our soul could be completely pure enough to be in the presence of Jesus, we would have the opportunity to finish our purification in purgatory.

There were times in the past that I felt you could have handled things better, but now, watching your videos this year, I'm blown away at how consistently wiser and kinder your interactions have become! Serega the best Allow me ask you what I ask the many SDA’s that ask me about keeping the Sabbath:
Do you go into Jewish Synagogues on the Sabbath and reason with Jews, as the Apostle Paul and the disciples?
Do you rest on the Sabbath as you are commanded to, or do you go to your church instead?
Can you give me one New Testament verse telling Christians to keep the Jewish Sabbath? If you can, I will gladly keep it and encourage others to keep it. But there’s not one.
Meanwhile, I will fellowship on the FIRST day of the week, as did the disciples (see Acts 20:7).
Keeping the day the disciples kept has nothing to do with the Roman Catholic church.
Jesus omitted reference to the Sabbath in Mark 10:17-18 (when He quoted the Commandments He made no reference to the Fourth).
Neither did the Apostle Paul refer to the Sabbath when he used the Law lawfully in Romans 2:21-24.
I follow the examples of Jesus and Paul when reasoning with the lost.
I suggest we both obey scripture, and instead of striving about the Law, we put our time and energy into reaching the unsaved:
“But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.” (Titus 3:9)
Living Waters No, I don’t go to any Jewish synagogue. And so I keep the Sabbath without going to churches. I think that keeping the Sabbath 4 commandments is when you do not work, rest and devote more time to your relationship with God and study the Scriptures and preach the gospel to people through the Internet. Well, in general, I was in the Adventist Christian church this summer many times and saw how they served God and gave Him praise and glory. I myself liked it there, indeed there was the presence of the Holy Spirit. I myself am not an Adventist, but Evangelical Christian.

I am striving to memorise scriptures, and be able to utilise then like you do. I thank the Lord for you and your team. You are all such dedicated workers for souls, in your own different ways.
When scripture is used, it makes people have to pay attention; I've noticed that a lot of the interviewees, even though argue many statements, they cannot argue Jesus's words. There is POWER in His Words. Quoting the words of Jesus, when talking with people, we too (myself included) can make an impact on many lives.
Side note: I recently purchased your devotional 'Jesus In Red' off of Amazon. This is helping me to focus daily on the words of Jesus. Thank you Living Waters.

Why does Ray ALWAYS use the 10 Commandments in trying to prove his point? I mean, the only way to Heaven is supposedly through faith alone in Jesus, not through works, right? So no matter how good you are, no matter if you have obeyed the 10 Commandments perfectly, you will not go to Heaven unless you believe in Jesus. So being good on Earth has no bearing on "Judgement Day," just have to have faith in Jesus.
Also, if God is omniscient, he already has a plan for all of us, and that means our fate has already been decided. Paul states in Romans 9 that God has already elected who he loves and hates before they are even born, so if God wants you to go to Hell, you're gonna go to Hell, you cannot fight God's will. God admitted to hardening Pharoah's heart, that means he took over Pharoah's free will and made it God's will. God chooses destructive weather every single day, and he knows beforehand who will die in those storms, their free will has no bearing on their fate. So being good and obeying commandments is a waste of time, best just live life to the fullest, have a good time, screw people over every day to get what you want, then repent right before you die and say you believe in Jesus, and you'll live an everlasting life. Makes sense, right? Wrong!

Ray uses the 10 Commandments so that people cannot argue they are "good". If you go up to a someone and tell them "we are all sinners and are destined to Hell according to the Bible", they would not understand just to what level they have sinned or how deep trouble they are in. They could also argue "well I don't think I'm that bad of a person and I really don't have any sin. It's just a way of proving to someone they have broken God's laws and sinned.
No one can obey the 10 Commandment (not what you're arguing I know) and therefore we cannot get to Heaven by trying to be good and do good works; but if someone could obey them as the example you're using, then Jesus would not have died for their sins because they did not need that dept payed and would have essentially earned their own way into Heaven by being sinless.

God is all omniscient according to the Bible, but this does not mean God decides our fate, he just knows what we will choose before we choose it. God gave us free will because IF we were all made perfect and made to obey him then what joy would we bring him by choosing to live for him when we have no other choice. Its like a man who creates robots like people for company, they're only programmed to do what they do, they don't choose by freewill and therefore it is not as satisfying as if real people were there.
God hardened Pharoah's heart as a punishment for keeping the Israelites and rejecting God earlier on in time. God does not just choose to harden any innocents heart, but someone who has seen his miracles and rejected him time and time and insist on following his own way.

God does not directly send natural disaster our way, but they are the result of the extensive sin of our ancestors and early descendants of Adam. When God flooded the Earth to wipe out its sinful inhabitants great volcanoes were formed and other plates of Earth started to turn against each other causing the start of natural disasters.

If we claim to have salvation yet do works of the opposite, our heart is not right with God, and when we are truly children of God he keeps us in line for the sins we commit and they will all have consequences. Its just like a father is to keep his child in line when he does wrong.

Leading off of my last point, if you have the will of God to do good works your life will be filled with numerous blessings not only in our temporary life here but in eternity in Heaven. Some may believe Heaven is as good as it gets but when we have obeyed Gods word we will have even greater rewards in Heaven. So you tell me if you have trust in Jesus which is better; to have temporary joy then punishment on Earth and not as many rewards for eternity? Or to surrender yourself to God and have blessings in this life and a greater reward for eternity?

Jesus died for each and every one of our sins past present and future. Just think about what he had to suffer for one of our sins, does this not bother you? Think about how you would feel if you made a great sacrifice for someone, perhaps a person close to you who you love dearly, and then they blow it off like it meant nothing to them. How would that make you feel? The least we could do for him who suffered the most brutal physical and mental pain possible is try to live in honor of him...

It doesn't matter how many times you sin, because you can always repent and say "I'm sorry, Jesus," and you are good to go. Its just like a dog goes right back to eat its puke. Harsh example man I know but it puts it into perspective. Repent- "feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin" (Google Dictionary). Of course we will all still mess up- I have fallen slave to temptation A LOT lately, but the big idea is to try to change the way you look at sin, or to truly want to change and act on that feeling of remorse. Unless this is done, you have not actually repented.
Also I mentioned that Jesus gave his life for us; suffering a much horrible death than anything else we could experience other than Hell. Sinning, saying "sorry", and repeating this process shows a bit of ungratefulness taking his suffering for granted, wouldn't you say?

Wow! The young man stopped asking a lot of questions when Ray started to explain to him about Jesus Christ God in flesh who came and died on the cross and paid the full penalty for our sin.
This is the work of the Holy Spirit, the Bible said that He is the One who will convinced people for their sins and help them to come to know the knowledge of the truth in Christ Jesus.
