It's amazing how ignorant I was of God's Word. I was in Church for decades and never read the Bible because my Pastor has a Masters of Divinity Degree. While I was working all week he was studying, praying, and preparing his sermons. When I started reading God's Word I realized how much I didn't know. Romans, changed me and helped me finally put the sins I was practicing behind me. The biggest thing I was shocked about was how some things I was taught were wrong. It was a hard pill to swallow. You will never know what the truth is if you Don't read the Word of God yourself.
oh man, Romans hit me hard the other day in the shower i couldnt stop crying for like 5 minutes! especially because it related to a previous conversation I had that day before.. yep God works in the most amazing of ways no doubt! he also brought my childhood love back to me after 20 years!

I always ask people if they can give me the definition of believe, faith, repentance and contrite heart. 9 times out of 10 they can't. So then I explain all of these to them. Then as I am ending my conversation, I ask if they are going to have a conversation with God, trust him and repent for offending God. If I get a yes, than I ask when. Then I suggest that they do it before the day is over and ask if they will. If I get a yes, then I say Praise the Lord and I expect to see them at the gates of heaven one day. Then I give them some information of what we just talked about with my salvation story. I also include some really good preacher videos, including yours to get them started in the discipling process. @jsharp9735 Of all the Catholic Masses i went to since i was little there's only a sermon or two i actually remember to this day. One was when i (21 or so at the time) went with my two younger sisters b/c our guardians wanted to make sure we attended church. That particular sermon the priest read Mark 9:41-50 where Jesus says it's better for you to cut off a limb (hand, foot, or pluck out your eye) than to go turn Hell "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." It was the first time a sermon from Church really stuck with me (that i recall); and a few years later God showed me i was headed there. Cried out to Him for mercy...life's never been quite so good since. : )

I think it was mostly because of the daughter... she is young. We preach the gospel with love, respect, yet boldly and in truth. Ray protected the mom's dignity in front of daughter and husband but carefully, yet clearly, added the topic of lust.
Her husband stood back and “didn’t participate”, but he heard every word!..I’m hoping the thumbs up at the end was more for being in agreement with what was being said to his wife and daughter, and not just thankful that the “sermon” was finally over!..lol!..Because that thumbs up in a small way was a BIG part of this video and literally made me smile from ear to ear!.. That particular sermon the priest read Mark 9:41-50 where Jesus says it's better for you to cut off a limb (hand, foot, or pluck out your eye) than to go turn Hell "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." It was the first time a sermon from Church really stuck with me (that i recall); and a few years later God showed me i was headed there. Cried out to Him for mercy...life's never been quite so good since. : )

Ray..this was so awesome…you were able to minister to the whole family. I thought it was great that their daughter got to listen that her Mom , nor herself are perfect, even when we think we are as humans..but, only THE LORD IS PERFECT! Grateful, too they all stayed to listen…even their Dad/ husband stayed…the thumbs up made the whole video precious! Pray the Lord stirs their hearts to want to seek the Word of God a little further.

@@Lerian_V NO WHERE in the Bible does it say JESUS CHRIST taught to confess your sins to a Priest. Maybe in the desert to AARON during the Exodus but that is it. HE taught Repentance to GOD and being born again, being Baptised in Faith. Did David "confess on his knees to Nathan?" NO, he prayed to GOD. Read the Psalms.

Think about it, people have been saying this for eons.. actually Jesus said he would return in 'their' lifetime but he didn't. I think it was mostly because of the daughter... she is young. We preach the gospel with love, respect, yet boldly and in truth. Ray protected the mom's dignity in front of daughter and husband but carefully, yet clearly, added the topic of lust.
