Same, no Okitan... Its technically been 800 dollars since my last rate up SSR. Since I whaled ~300 for Surfmo NP5 after I already got tamalancer to NP5 (No USOs from that, not that I actually want them) and then 500 on Okitan (for no Okitan) so I really hope I get her with the aniversary quartz and don't have to spend anymore. She's my last target I am willing to whale for this year and for once there's not much reason to go past NP1. At the very least I hope its no where near as bad as Okitan. Good luck with your rolls hopefully we can get her for free.

I had a dream the other night that I pulled for skadi and got 2 kscopes, skadi and the final copy of imaginary element that I needed. I was so happy, I woke up thinking that it was real, ready to level her up. I then logged into fgo and realised that she hasn't even been released yet😭

i might be a year late but when i got skadi i did instantly unlock easy mode lol I don't even have a kscope but with paracelsus i could get 80% refunds ( with dantes lvl10 golden rule )when farming mats for my skadi's skills if you are rolling for her now i wish you luck
After watching several videos with her clearing numerous waves with just a few turns, mostly from xnaya, and some boss fights on that matter, there's no denying she's a real quick-meta enabler. Its a shame that I don't have that many quick servants to maximize her effectiveness and I enjoy farming for more than 3 turns because I use the farming nodes to try out numerous servants and CE combinations, treating them as boss battles (yes I have that much free time as a f2p). She's good that's for sure, but as a f2p with less than 100 SQs I'll have to skip this one for my swimsuit waifus in ServaFes. If I really need her, I'll just rely on my friend support list like you suggest since I have most of the substitutes including Waver. Thank you for a wonderful review on her and i really enjoyed all of your videos after I watched your Ushiwakamaru as the 1st video in your channel. Thank you once again. P.S. Ushi really does need an animation update.
why would you think that a ruler who is only meant to help you get through high difficulty events after like 30 turns is better than a quick support who grants you the ability to 100% guaranteed 3t event farming and at the same time immense amount of damage+np recharge that allows you to 3t like almost every high difficulties? doesn't make any sense cuz skadi's the woman who literally changed the whole environment of the game huh. QSH Is like, a million miles away from it
The fact remains that she's the only quick caster, and that alone gives her unequaled value. Not that it makes her the best ever, you just can't find another option for the same purpose.

I have only 115 tickets to spare for Scathach-Skadi as I still have Osakabehime for Quick support. If I got her, well that is very good I will use her for NP charge then switch her as I'm using Arts NP looping with Tamamo/Waver or NP Stalling with Tamamo/Jeanne/Mash. What I'm waiting for is the Summer Event, I'm going to get Summer BB and Summer Jeanne.
Yeah, not surprising that she's a strong recommendation. I will give it a shot, but will also admit I don't have the most overwhelming reserves. After that story couldn't help but go for Okitan. Did get her, but not in a strong spot. All the trickier since right after Skadi will likely be that Summer re-run and my best chance to get Umu Caster to NP5. Normally wouldn't care for that, but got really close last year. Anyways, will give it a shot for Skadi. She's definitely strong. Have a few solid quick options too so she'd definitely be helpful. But still have my GSSR stalker Waver. So a support Skadi and the right setup could work out if I fail here.
JP player here. We kinda have the devs shower us with quartz on her release (which is the anniversary) and added a few more features on farming quartz. Hopefully the EN server does the same there. As for my Skadi rolls, I used more or less 330 quartz (both farmed and given by devs) and 20-30 tickets for her. She appeared on the last roll as the last card. So yeah, good luck with rolling~ May RNG and Gacha gods smile upon your rolls with good luck
This is fine and all but you forgot something important: She's Scathach-Skadi sama and good waifu material. Also, I'll roll on her banner only for the CE that gives 50% NP+Crit star gather rate+Crit damage up because I really need the former two bonus together in a CE for lot of servants, many of them being my favorites.
I think she is really worth it for new players, don't forget Summer Ishtar is coming and she has 2 np gain up skills and an awesome 3 turn Quick and Buster up for three turns. Skadi can maximize that and with the CE you get from the summenr event you get a 50 charge. Even though you might not get the buffs from it, as a new player you should care more for the Starting NP anyway.
If you also dont have Merlin keep in mind that next New Year's GSSR will feature limited servants and you can pick the class. The casters are Illya,Summer Nero,Da Vinci, MERLIN and SKADI. Pretty good odds for a top tier support. You could even get both if are a true RNG god.
Also by the way, skadi basically enables any servant to double np at least. If you cant do 3-turn farming with one DPS, you can always use Arash for Wave 1, then NP the 2nd Wave with your quick servant, and 100% NP charge for the 3rd Wave from Double Skadi.
@KeiKollections There is a VERY good reason to tell certain players to not roll for her which isnt related to ego or 3 turn farming or whatever at all. Youre assuming a Skadi comes with 10/10/10 out of the box, which is where the mistake lies. New players are effectively hard locked out of using her because of her mats. She cant even get past 2nd ascension and skill level 4 without having at least LB1 cleared, and to get to the later ascension and skill levels where she actually becomes usable, she requires a ton of materials from LB2 even. So no, we dont say 50% charge is useless for a beginner, but a beginner at the game wont even be able to get to that point where she has that 50% charge (which is also the last skill she gets, and that ascension too is locked through endgame mats). I think its perfectly reasonable to recommend players who cant really use her effectively for a long time (not even counting 3 turning here) to not roll for her unless for other reasons like waifu stuff.

Thank you for all the advise Kei, since i started about 2 months my account is pretty new, good luck for everyone doing the pulls for her, but i'm gonna skip it, Waver, Gill and Ereshkigal are my targets for this year, as a new player need for Waver and also as someone who like both of them, not only because of meta things.
I think that MLB KScope is not needed for 3T farm with DSS. just nuke the first wave with Stellaaaaaa! you can even use ADrive and Shakespeare(NP charge and buster buff for Arash) to do more damage. Next turn a main DPS(with GSumo) comes and you plug Shake for Skadi. so you start second wave with guaranteed 50% NP. It will take more steps but still work as 3T farming.
I just EX Luck/Effort pulled Skadi after starting a week ago. I worked my ass off to grind all of Okeanos to get one more free summon attempt and she was the very last summon! I'm planning to run her with my Sigurd since he's my only other 5*!
F2P here, I got Tamamo Caster while rolling for her summer version, and I got Waver during last Caster banner. I guess I'm quite lucky, but not too much to get also Majokko Shishou, I hope (since Memelin got me broke 💔)
Having a real tough time deciding whether Skadi's a good pull for me, since currently my go to servants are Waver, Amakusa, Hercules and Saber Lancelot. Not much quick cards going on there, so I'm not sure if I want her or if I should save for a servant that can bring out a more powerful AOE NP than Amakusa, or a ST that can drop a ton of damage along Herc's NP. Maybe I should get my GSSR first and hope that gives me a Quick servant to motivate me for Skadi.
I'm broke too and haven't gotten any good luck in 2020 :( Also, thats funny how there are people telling players not to summon for skadi. Like you said not everyone can 3-turn farm, but what she brings to table is great even for beginners. While newbies won't have access to that sweet 50% charge, they most likely will get her to 4/4/4 which is relatively easy and still decent with 35% charge. There isn't that many servants that have a targetable np charge skill.
You can 3t with her on non-lancer nodes with Arash + a DSS servant. If you're F2P and have bad RNG like me where you only have NP1, even non-MLB IE will work for Arash but you still need a kscope. Setup is Arash, DSS servant, and a support with 20% battery. Helena is your best option since she's a 4* and could've spooked ypu already. Use the battery to get both servants ready. Arash will have 100% because of his battery and the DSS servant gets 100%. Arash Stella's the first wave. Plug Skadi in place of the support and do the 2 nodes with the "regular" DSS.

well, skadi needs lostbelts materials to get her batery , so beginners won't be able to get most of her but she still has the quick buff and defense down . she is really good but i don't understand some people overhype
She reached bond level 10 just few hours ago. Can't 3 turn with double skadi, yet she is my 1st bond level 10 servant on NA ( I have 2 bond level 10 servants on jp- waver and castoria). Actually, I do 3 turn but I use an extra dps to clear a wave since I have good ssr farmers from every classes (unfortunately all of them are buster waifu) except berserker and assassin. I use berserk lancelot and double skadi to clear 2 waves and use my 3rd dps to clear 1 wave because berserker lancelot can't loop 3 turn without mlb kscope. I have been playing for like 10 months now and have 2 kscope. Who knows how many months or even years it will take to get 3 more copies. Hoping to get waver this march, so that should give me more flexibility. So, you are absolutely right. She is useful even without servants who can't 3 turn.
i got a K-scope right before getting a jeanne normal while my sister, who started out and is in camelot now, has a K-scope, got one before me. we will be getting a lot of quarts. for myself, 180, while my sister get 160 but gets 30 quarts in less then 2 weeks, during the anniversary. hopefully we all can get a skadi.

I kind of wish I spent all my recourse on Okita Alter. All year I've been saving for Skadi. But when I read Guda guda 3 Okita became one of my top 3 to 5 favorit characters. I only rolled a little because I wanted to make sure I had a lot of quartzs for Skadi. Now I'm kind of regretting it because even tho I have 500 quartz for one of the best characters in the game, I may of been happier if I ended up with Okita Alter. But hey at least Okita has a rate up in 10 months so she will be my big 2021 target.
Man I been really lucky with the gacha lately, I got sherlock with a ticket, okita alter while I was trying to copy of Izou and yesterday I threw 30 quartz at the Napoleon banner and I managed to get him. I feel like if I walked outside now I will get hit by a truck because I exhausted at my luck.
Lets face it, the recommended CE's are good but the CE that will be put on her is either Monalisa, Bella Lisa (incoming CE), Lunchtime or Teatime (also incoming CE)
After Osakabehime spooked me twice in one roll on Halloween, I've been having a bit of a gut feeling that the game's inching me towards the Quick side. Then Waver spooked me on the Thanksgiving banner, followed by a bunch of strong Quick servants showing up over the next couple of weeks -- by this point I was having a _strong_ inclination that the gacha had plans for me. With Lancelot, Waver, and Doggo; I'm pretty much set for both farming and bosses. After Skadi, that future SR ticket all but guarantees my needs are met. I was all set to have 400~ SQ just for hour, but of course I'm a gigantic twat so I decimated my SQ fund sometime ago. With the EoR rewards, I'll have 200~ SQ which I hope will be enough to get her.
I got Achilles with 330SQ but failed to get Okitan with 390SQ. I’ll be rolling around 1200SQ for Skadi. I hope that’s enough to get that cute goddess. Pls Skadi-sama! With what I have left after getting NP5 Izou, I hope I have enough SQ to get her. The major problem is will I have enough afterwards for some Summer spending? Each of the summon banners for this year has at least one servant I want (I want Dantes so bad and it looks like 2020's summer event and next year's rerun will be the last time in the foreseeable future we will be able to get him outside of GSSR summons).

I have only 115 tickets to spare for Scathach-Skadi as I still have Osakabehime for Quick support. If I got her, well that is very good I will use her for NP charge then switch her as I'm using Arts NP looping with Tamamo/Waver or NP Stalling with Tamamo/Jeanne/Mash.
What I'm waiting for is the Summer Event, I'm going to get Summer BB and Summer Jeanne.

Yeah, not surprising that she's a strong recommendation. I will give it a shot, but will also admit I don't have the most overwhelming reserves. After that story couldn't help but go for Okitan. Did get her, but not in a strong spot. All the trickier since right after Skadi will likely be that Summer re-run and my best chance to get Umu Caster to NP5. Normally wouldn't care for that, but got really close last year.
Anyways, will give it a shot for Skadi. She's definitely strong. Have a few solid quick options too so she'd definitely be helpful. But still have my GSSR stalker Waver. So a support Skadi and the right setup could work out if I fail here.
Who cares about her skills. She looks hot that is all the reason I need to go broke for her. :)
JP player here. We kinda have the devs shower us with quartz on her release (which is the anniversary) and added a few more features on farming quartz. Hopefully the EN server does the same there. As for my Skadi rolls, I used more or less 330 quartz (both farmed and given by devs) and 20-30 tickets for her. She appeared on the last roll as the last card.

Also, I'll roll on her banner only for the CE that gives 50% NP+Crit star gather rate+Crit damage up because I really need the former two bonus together in a CE for lot of servants, many of them being my favorites.

I think she is really worth it for new players, don't forget Summer Ishtar is coming and she has 2 np gain up skills and an awesome 3 turn Quick and Buster up for three turns. Skadi can maximize that and with the CE you get from the summenr event you get a 50 charge. Even though you might not get the buffs from it, as a new player you should care more for the Starting NP anyway.

It's funny how the video title doesn't ask if you should summon her or not, but that why she is a must.
If you also dont have Merlin keep in mind that next New Year's GSSR will feature limited servants and you can pick the class.
The casters are Illya,Summer Nero,Da Vinci, MERLIN and SKADI. Pretty good odds for a top tier support.
You could even get both if are a true RNG god.

Also by the way, skadi basically enables any servant to double np at least.
If you cant do 3-turn farming with one DPS, you can always use Arash for Wave 1, then NP the 2nd Wave with your quick servant, and 100% NP charge for the 3rd Wave from Double Skadi.

@KeiKollections There is a VERY good reason to tell certain players to not roll for her which isnt related to ego or 3 turn farming or whatever at all. Youre assuming a Skadi comes with 10/10/10 out of the box, which is where the mistake lies. New players are effectively hard locked out of using her because of her mats. She cant even get past 2nd ascension and skill level 4 without having at least LB1 cleared, and to get to the later ascension and skill levels where she actually becomes usable, she requires a ton of materials from LB2 even. So no, we dont say 50% charge is useless for a beginner, but a beginner at the game wont even be able to get to that point where she has that 50% charge (which is also the last skill she gets, and that ascension too is locked through endgame mats).
I think its perfectly reasonable to recommend players who cant really use her effectively for a long time (not even counting 3 turning here) to not roll for her unless for other reasons like waifu stuff.

Thank you for all the advise Kei, since i started about 2 months my account is pretty new, good luck for everyone doing the pulls for her, but i'm gonna skip it, Waver, Gill and Ereshkigal are my targets for this year, as a new player need for Waver and also as someone who like both of them, not only because of meta things.
Hell! ill even use skadi for berserk raikou for that crit buff and np boost.
I think that MLB KScope is not needed for 3T farm with DSS. just nuke the first wave with Stellaaaaaa! you can even use ADrive and Shakespeare(NP charge and buster buff for Arash) to do more damage. Next turn a main DPS(with GSumo) comes and you plug Shake for Skadi. so you start second wave with guaranteed 50% NP. It will take more steps but still work as 3T farming.

I just EX Luck/Effort pulled Skadi after starting a week ago. I worked my ass off to grind all of Okeanos to get one more free summon attempt and she was the very last summon! I'm planning to run her with my Sigurd since he's my only other 5*!
A new account that has Skadi gonna have a warm time leveling her skills because of the LB2 mats.
F2P here, I got Tamamo Caster while rolling for her summer version, and I got Waver during last Caster banner. I guess I'm quite lucky, but not too much to get also Majokko Shishou, I hope (since Memelin got me broke 💔)
Got’em I can now use the Double Skadi-Berserkerlot farming formation.
Having a real tough time deciding whether Skadi's a good pull for me, since currently my go to servants are Waver, Amakusa, Hercules and Saber Lancelot. Not much quick cards going on there, so I'm not sure if I want her or if I should save for a servant that can bring out a more powerful AOE NP than Amakusa, or a ST that can drop a ton of damage along Herc's NP. Maybe I should get my GSSR first and hope that gives me a Quick servant to motivate me for Skadi.

Also, thats funny how there are people telling players not to summon for skadi. Like you said not everyone can 3-turn farm, but what she brings to table is great even for beginners. While newbies won't have access to that sweet 50% charge, they most likely will get her to 4/4/4 which is relatively easy and still decent with 35% charge. There isn't that many servants that have a targetable np charge skill.
You can 3t with her on non-lancer nodes with Arash + a DSS servant. If you're F2P and have bad RNG like me where you only have NP1, even non-MLB IE will work for Arash but you still need a kscope. Setup is Arash, DSS servant, and a support with 20% battery. Helena is your best option since she's a 4* and could've spooked ypu already.
Use the battery to get both servants ready. Arash will have 100% because of his battery and the DSS servant gets 100%. Arash Stella's the first wave. Plug Skadi in place of the support and do the 2 nodes with the "regular" DSS.

well, skadi needs lostbelts materials to get her batery , so beginners won't be able to get most of her but she still has the quick buff and defense down . she is really good but i don't understand some people overhype

But of course I'm still going to try to summon Skadi.
She reached bond level 10 just few hours ago. Can't 3 turn with double skadi, yet she is my 1st bond level 10 servant on NA ( I have 2 bond level 10 servants on jp- waver and castoria). Actually, I do 3 turn but I use an extra dps to clear a wave since I have good ssr farmers from every classes (unfortunately all of them are buster waifu) except berserker and assassin. I use berserk lancelot and double skadi to clear 2 waves and use my 3rd dps to clear 1 wave because berserker lancelot can't loop 3 turn without mlb kscope. I have been playing for like 10 months now and have 2 kscope. Who knows how many months or even years it will take to get 3 more copies. Hoping to get waver this march, so that should give me more flexibility.
So, you are absolutely right. She is useful even without servants who can't 3 turn.
i got a K-scope right before getting a jeanne normal while my sister, who started out and is in camelot now, has a K-scope, got one before me. we will be getting a lot of quarts. for myself, 180, while my sister get 160 but gets 30 quarts in less then 2 weeks, during the anniversary. hopefully we all can get a skadi.

I kind of wish I spent all my recourse on Okita Alter. All year I've been saving for Skadi. But when I read Guda guda 3 Okita became one of my top 3 to 5 favorit characters. I only rolled a little because I wanted to make sure I had a lot of quartzs for Skadi. Now I'm kind of regretting it because even tho I have 500 quartz for one of the best characters in the game, I may of been happier if I ended up with Okita Alter. But hey at least Okita has a rate up in 10 months so she will be my big 2021 target.
Man I been really lucky with the gacha lately, I got sherlock with a ticket, okita alter while I was trying to copy of Izou and yesterday I threw 30 quartz at the Napoleon banner and I managed to get him. I feel like if I walked outside now I will get hit by a truck because I exhausted at my luck.

After Osakabehime spooked me twice in one roll on Halloween, I've been having a bit of a gut feeling that the game's inching me towards the Quick side. Then Waver spooked me on the Thanksgiving banner, followed by a bunch of strong Quick servants showing up over the next couple of weeks -- by this point I was having a _strong_ inclination that the gacha had plans for me.
With Lancelot, Waver, and Doggo; I'm pretty much set for both farming and bosses. After Skadi, that future SR ticket all but guarantees my needs are met.
I was all set to have 400~ SQ just for hour, but of course I'm a gigantic twat so I decimated my SQ fund sometime ago. With the EoR rewards, I'll have 200~ SQ which I hope will be enough to get her.
You forgot to mention that servants like Zerkalot, Parvati and Dantes require NP2 or above to fully take advantage of the DSS.
I got Achilles with 330SQ but failed to get Okitan with 390SQ. I’ll be rolling around 1200SQ for Skadi. I hope that’s enough to get that cute goddess.

With what I have left after getting NP5 Izou, I hope I have enough SQ to get her.
The major problem is will I have enough afterwards for some Summer spending? Each of the summon banners for this year has at least one servant I want (I want Dantes so bad and it looks like 2020's summer event and next year's rerun will be the last time in the foreseeable future we will be able to get him outside of GSSR summons).
