We appreciate you ace, I actually had to edit my comment because I initially thought dabi was out of scale with the revoltech shoto, but apparently he is correctly scaled for the revoltech line, shoto is 5,9 and dabi is 5,9 and a quarter, and in another review I saw he was just taller than shoto, which is baffling because I always thought he was similar to in terms of height to Aizawa and I felt he still looked way taller in s6 and 7 but apparently I was wrong he scales with the revoltech shoto But great review as always
Thanks for that information. Good to know. I guess it’s possible to just get the wrong interpretation of a character when watching them in a series lol
not to sound sadistic or insincere but your best content and your best energy comes from you being over it or through it. youre very enjoyable when youre raw and unfiltered i liked your sense of humor here was a lot sharper, when youre overly thrilled with a product you're usually a loss for words (no notes) when youre overly critical you got a lot to say (lot of notes) lol. appreciated also my dabi's chilling in his box on my bottom shelf i havent gotten around to opening the 30 or so figures i got recently im behind but the complaints about him are what i had about my aizawa actually so thats interesting to see that these figures are all kinda carbon copy. i thought aizawa's scale and proportions were a little off he too is supposed to be tall and lanky he just looked a little squatty, the pelvic-thigh area looks extremely off and the knee bend is unsightly
I had fun with this figure I can’t lie, even though it was a bit annoying to fiddle with at times. Revoltech definitely Revolteched with this figure but I expected that, pretty alright overall for me. Great review and thanks for pushing your limits for us Ace, much appreciated because this review turned out pretty good.
Had mine for about a week now. After fixing the hand issues, all I’ll say is that he grows on you. Yes he’s too small but the accessories make up for it. Not worth 120 on eBay though. If you can get him for retail he’s still a good buy
@ it would be easier to show you but I’ll explain. Cut a very small square piece of plastic (the paper thin type that protects the joints of the figure in package). Make sure it’s about the height/width of the wrist (very tiny square chip-like piece of thin plastic). Carefully dab a small amount of super glue on the tiny piece and place it on the hand that’s having trouble GLUE FACING THEN HOLE FOR THE PEG. Using the wrist peg, carefully push the plastic in evenly. Push it in tightly and move it around for 30 seconds for a better fit. This method tightens the hand while protecting the peg. Take your time and cut away any extra plastic that sticks out. (Technically you don’t need to use super glue, it would just be that the plastic would be single use and you would have to replace it every time which can be annoying)
The Revoltech line makes some weird choices when it comes to design. I wonder why they don't try and do things other companies try to do? I do like that they are slowly moving away from the Revoltech joints but the replacements are weird.
sorry but I can't understand your problem with the figure, the only Thing I Agree with is that he should be taller, but the jacket it's not a problem, the light on the face neither, And I personally love the "fosh effects" with todoroki look's amazing, and now Revoltech includes two arms to the base, one for the figure and one for the effects so it's perfect. Obiously is your opinion and it's ok, but I think You were very hard on this figure. Good review anyways
Agree, i've just saw the promo images and the jacket was meant to look like that. It's not made to be in a plain pose and revoltech did't promote It otherwise. About the heigh, he definitely looks smaller in comparison with the other figures. I love the review though. Honest talk and opinion without over praising.
that’s valid. I remember being blown away with their articulation at first, but recently in the my hero line, I’ve strait up hated some of the figures. It makes me sad, but I completely get why you like their figures.
I’m 50-50 on that one. Sometimes I really do enjoy their figures. Other times they are a bit lackluster, but I’ve never hated one because I know what to expect. As far as the weakest goes, it’s definitely 1,000,000% Figma in my opinion
Ngl Both the Batman and this Dabi where my most wanted bro I got both and they have qc issues my dabis left leg is just loose now it was slipping before and I didn’t know wth was happening super disappointed :((( I’m gonna try Kiki but my batmans the worst Bros left arm just keep slipping and would not stay on if you push upwards
This is a figure that is great on paper, but the moment you start trying to pose it or move pieces around, it becomes entirely frustrating. Let's hope that Sh Figuarts line is as good if not better than the SH figuarts Naruto Line. Overall Revoltech when it works is like 10/10 but when it doesn't work man does it fall from grace soo hard.
My first copy of this figure was finicky and fragile as HELL! Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was breaking apart. Luckily, I'm getting a replacement refund soon
So ig it peaked at All Might and Endeavor. I passed on every other revoltech besides Shoto and it seems I made the right choice considering the price of these figures, especially dabi. Mirko didn't seem all that great either but I'll wait for a review on her.
Thank you for releasing this I also really love my hero academia. 🙏 it was my first anime I watched
It's so good!
We appreciate you ace,

Mine is waiting at home, excited to open after work. Great review!
Thanks for doing the Dabi review first!

Ikr 😅 he be locked the fooook in
Dabi is the same height as Shoto. So that’s about right.

Facts
We appreciate you ace
Nice review
Appreciate you man! Nice video! Im still hesitant to pick it up due to the price and because ive never had a revoltech figure before
Love your videos

Dabi is a great character
Agreed
@ my favorite character is def hawks, he just has a great story and attitude, I also love his quirk. He also had so many reasons to become a villain.
Like Dropping and we appreciate you Bro! Enjoy ya stuff, thank you for ya hard work dude 👌🏾.
I appreciate of you ☺️
Are you going to review buzzmod muichiro tokito?
But bro with the jacket if you rotate the joint it kinda works it fixes the gap
Like dropped.
I gotchu king. ( I rlly appreciate you)
Yeah the height annoyed me but that was my only problem with the figure, now i feel like Mirko is gonna be really small 😢

thanks for the review Ace!! can i just say Dabi is not that tall at all hes almost the same height as Shoto.
Ima need to cop dabi im fine with those minor issues my main bug is one of the faces looks a little weird that’s bout it
Revoltech definately feels the weakest when it comes to import figures. There have been times I question my love for the hobby.
I have to solidly disagree
Their superior articulation to get any figure in the craziest coolest poses is what makes it my favorite figure company
that’s valid. I remember being blown away with their articulation at first, but recently in the my hero line, I’ve strait up hated some of the figures. It makes me sad, but I completely get why you like their figures.

@ figma used to be the goat. I’d love to have a full on discussion about figures sometime
@@KylesGameRoomI got a figma eren bros knee dead he only got one leg now I ain’t even move him
Why not compare to shigaraki?
I don’t have any of those anymore

just prayin that their Mirko figure is good
ngl im buying this and dabi is 5'9 btw bro is not 6ft lol

Hey ace make a news video a lot of figures have popped up lately like put the egghead luffy sh figuarts for your next sh figuarts news video
Hope the Sh Figuarts will be better 😅
Dude dabi is like 5ft 9, the figs height is accurate
Yeah, someone commented that. I guess he just looks really tall in the series.
Yeah, that jacket part is quite disappointing. Glad you stuck it out for the review.
I see what u did there
My first copy of this figure was finicky and fragile as HELL! Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was breaking apart. Luckily, I'm getting a replacement refund soon
Not to sound like that guy but am I the only one getting annoyed with the packaging they are using nowadays
the box? actually better than the old one full of innecessary things, as a designer the old one look's like was made by a 5 years old child
@@estebanrojashevia9528insane
@@estebanrojashevia9528 I agree. I did like the old design, but this one looks so much cleaner.

he looks cool, but he is small
