- The long awaited S.H.Figuarts Naruto Shippuden Orochimaru - Seeker of Immortality is here and I couldn’t be more happy. I love this figure so much more than I can put into words and I am happy to know it will be releasing soon. This is a Figure that I have been waiting forever since it was announced long before pre-orders were available. I’m sure you guys already know because I have said it 1 million times, but Naruto has a special place in my heart. It is my favorite anime and it probably will always be. I don’t see anything replacing my nostalgia for this series so having these figures is almost mine blowing after the line was canceled so many years ago. This time Tamashi nations came back with a banger giving us the figures that we really didn’t deserve. As long as they continue to release figures like this, I think people will continue to buy them. Figure is so dope 😭. I do have a request though if in reviews going forward you could go back to laying out all the accessories out at once on the plastic trays like you used to. It just makes it a lot easier to see them all at a glance and kinda just compare everything. Appreciate all the reviews coming out!
Orochimaru definitely was creepy in the OG Naruto and 1st Half of Shippuden, now we need a Tsunade and give us a curse mark kid sasuke! also remember that old Demoniacal fit Orochimaru prototype 😅

Yah his introduction was epic. But after that they fucked him over. And then they tried to push kabuto which looked like crap with the glasses. Can't stand that they kept those on him. Hope the figure vision makes it so you can take those off. As for the rope on orochimaru. That was about the only thing I didn't like about his outfit.
Orochimaru is an awesome character and this figure looks great. I can't wait for Zabuza to join the line. Dope review 👌
If they were to release a Tobriama and Hashirama, they would fit well with this figure so you could reenact his summoning scene
Something about the Naruto line just makes them the best in SH Figuarts, period. The amount of facial expressions, effect parts, soft materials, articulations - just to name a few.
Granted I haven't bought this, even though I own all of the revived line before him. Perhaps it's because he is sold out when I want to pre-order him and all major online store sold out now too. Like you said, budget is pretty tight since I have other figures on higher priority but this looks flawless.
Hoping if Bandai does a Third Hokage they will include the female face and maybe a bendable long neck as DLC
This figure does look really damn good. I've never seen Naruto, maybe I should give it a try. Great review, it's awesome that this figure totally hit the spot for you. That truly is the best part of collecting.

What a damn good figure, agree that it's the figure of the year for now (hoping Obito is also this good or better). For me this and Rinnegan Sasuke are tied for the best figures in the current Naruto line.
Funnily enough even though it's branded as a Shippuden Orochimaru, the Sasuke head and having the sword/snakes as arm/hand accessories instead of being attached to a tongue in a faceplate (because Part II Orochi can't use his arms) makes this a Part I pre-time skip version.

I'm glad they announced Itachi pre ordered him. And I'm more hoping for pain next to be announced. That's my guy in the game both him and Itachi were fun to battle with. Ocochimaru I'm very tempted to get but I'm not completely sold on him. I love kakashi though out of all of them.

Don't worry about the bias. I'm only a casual fan of Naruto, but this is ABSOLUTELY a contender for figure of the year. It does everything perfectly, the look, the faceplates, the articulation, the accessories. The only other figure coming out this year that might knock this dude out of contention is another SHF Naruto figure, and you already know who that is. But Orochimaru is a must buy!

I have a few of the Naruto figures. I am kind of disappointed with some of the figures because of the price point. I bought Naruto and Sasuke for $35 at Wal-Mart. All of the figures seem kind of basic but the prices on some like Orochimaru are so very high for just a few accessories. There should have been a stand and some effects parts at that price. I haven't seen enough of the anime i guess because I am not excited about this one

I don’t care for Orochima-chan, but I couldn’t skip this. Pretty much on point with the likeness, pose-ability, and my god, the accessories! Another massive win for the fans as a regular release.
Waiting for Tsunade. Would love to have a reboot Jiraiya with sage/(ero)sennin mode faceplates and accessories!
