Control recipes are not supported for production orders. Of course, OCM is one of the best practices to use in process industries.

Why can’t you use ECM (part of OCM) to control master recipes? If the ECN is not approved the process order will not be approved by default.

@@SAPwithIK business already using ECM if they want to make any changes at process order level OCM will helps to create the logs for ever the changes we made. That's the requirement

I think Serial number is possible for process order. I have worked on it. Where we pack chemicals in the drum and each drum has a unique serial number
