The fantastic roads of Spiti Valley 😅 Sometimes you hate them, sometimes you love them, sometimes you talk about how Corruption has eaten our country & sometimes you forget about everything, That's the beauty of Spiti Valley's roads.
They are not the best roads of India nor the worst, but one of the most extreme ones.
The high altitude villages of Spiti valley have a character of their own. The people have a simple but hard lifestyle. The Spitian way of life is totally in sync with the terrain’s unforgiving geography and weather.
Kye Gompa is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 metres (13,668 ft) above sea level, close to the Spiti River, in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti district, India.
It is the biggest monastery of Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for Lamas. It reportedly had 100 monks in 1855.

Corruption is nil in the Spiti.
HP is known for low corruption and crime.
The thing is that roads don't last long or very less number of vehicles travel.

Being at higher altitude, Its very challenging to being grocery to this much hight but still the rates for food are very cheap as compare to our cities. This is their honesty. Even our dhabawala on highway charges 5+ on water bottles and here in 200 Rupees two people can eat.
