Who originally implemented the GST? 🤔 Mulroney.Monsieur Lac du Meech… and a Conservative. Trudeau beat Poliviere to axing the GST which I have been telling Poliviere to do for years. Useless politicians all of them. Trump has a much more pervasive agenda for the world

@ Salads that are ready for consumption are generally taxable where they are not canned or vacuum sealed. Pre-packages salad kits that contain all of the ingredients for a salad but are not mixed may not be considered a salad, and therefore may be zero-rated.
Sandwiches that are not frozen are taxable. Both refrigerated and hot sandwiches are considered suitable for consumption and taxable for GST/HST.
All salads aren’t unhealthy if you’re in a rush as long as it’s not your sole source of nutrients/minerals. Obviously whole, unprocessed foods are best for health. And obviously not high fructose corn syrup and any chemical additives. But how many people eat eg; strict keto organic? The rich people

2 months of subsidaries won't reverse years of over spending, hike in taxes and inflations that Canadian suffers.

Hopefully, not too many fools fall for this vote buying trick. It's only 2 months then they jack up taxes next year.

Nvm. Re-read your comment. Though 2 months no INCOME tax is still not worth jacking taxes permanently next year.

Instead promote Canadian businesses and reduce income tax, hire about taxing passive income like rental and interests and promoting active incomes like salaries

28:55 CATSA wanted to inspect my 4L tub of salted beef I brought for thanksgiving. Fair enough.
They didn't seal the tub back up and everyone on the plane had salt brine on their luggage. Mine was totally destroyed.
I followed up on my initial CATSA claim 7 times over 9 months. After the 3rd follow up they stopped replying. I tried calling their support, but had to give up after 2 hours of no answer.

I used to work as a cashier...groceries deemed essential are already tax exempt. That's why you get weurd things where donut is taxed because it's a snack, but a box of donuts is not taxed because at that point it's considered a food or a meal (or it might have been bagels).

Do you want to give Canadians a real break lower down the rent because how are Canadians gonna afford products with free GST and HST if they have no money to spend on products lower down the rent

reminds me of some european dictator who decades ago gathered with his wife on a balcony to announce that they would increase salaries so to alleviate economic pressures. but instead of receiving applause, they were met with anger and revolt from the people who could no longer bare the hardship, corruption, abuse. they were soon deposed right around christmas time.

So, will the items mentioned in this video not be subject to the 13% HST?
