Hi Becky, I'm sorry to hear you were so unwell but am happy to see you on the mend again. I thought of you on a recent trip to Kilkenny city when I found 'Rooney' by Catherine Cookson in a €1 box of a second hand book store! Needless to say, it came home with me (originally published in 1957, my edition is a 1972 print)
