My Recreation of the SpaceX Interplanetary Transport System video but with the 2019 Starship/Super Heavy design but with the twist of launching out of the SpaceX South Texas launch site in Boca Chica, Texas.
Starship will be the largest and most powerful rocket ever built, the entire vehicle is 100% reusable making it very affordable and is capable of sending humans or large amounts of cargo to the Moon, Mars and beyond.

As a KSP lover and someone who also loves to make simulations using the game, that was the best thing I've seen yet.
Oh my good, this is so good! Matthew, you've not just made a fantastic KSP short movie, you've also created the best Starship flight animation out there to date. Well done! I salute you!
What about it!? Thank you so much! And yes you can say that! 😀
Short movie or short film both work
It is epic to realise we will see this in person.
The most important advancement for humanity will be experienced by our generation.
I am sorry to bring it to you, but we will not. :D
@@TheSmiesko well super heavy and ship 20 has stacked so your wrong :D
@@davidhunter6706 I believe that you believe what are you saying. However everyone who does understand some rocketeering and other related subjects could provide you with a list of claims that are just not possible in our timeline. :) Could the rocket reach Mars? Probably yes. With humans on the board? Definitely not. (If you would like them to be alive when then ascend)
@@TheSmiesko You act like this hasn’t been thought through before pouring billions of dollars into this project. Starships will be capable of landing on Mars with humans within 10 years, and will return using ISRU to refuel, get back to orbit, burn and capture at Earth and lands mostly aerodynamically with only a little bit of fuel required. It will also do a complex aerodynamic Mars entry, coming in very shallow to burn off as much energy as possible, saving fuel. The physics of a rocket like this works, it just needs to be demonstrated and likely will be soon.
Imagine this:
You’re hanging out on the beach on South Padré Island and suddenly you hear “BOOM” what do you do?
Look to the plume in the sky
U look up to the sky and feel the shockwaves from the superheavy exhausts
Take a shit

Sent here by Marcus House. Subscribed just so I can keep track of this video and share it as I think of people who would appreciate it in all it’s magnificence. Just wonderful, thank you.
This is great! This is the best Starship animation with the modern version of the ship! And probably the best KSP recreation!
isnt really a recreation if it was a mod that was made to replicate the ship
SPACE FOR EVERYONE FOR EVER! fantastic KSP mission!
I think that a starship with fuel would be launched first, it would be left in orbit, and a few hours later (or even days later) the starship would be launched with passengers. I think this is safer and more effective, in addition to what I had heard that it probably would
I get what you are saying. I'm sure they thought of that also, maybe it's to save money.
Even safer.....setup fueling stations in orbit (earth, lunar whichever makes most sense).
Tanker starships refuel THAT and the logistics of refueling multiple starships in time for the depature to mars gets way less complicated imo.
It may take several tanker visits for Mars fill up.
I agree
I actually don't agree as there is a probable chance that it might collide or interfere with Elon's other project the Starlink satellite so doing it as fast and quickly as possible seems wise and safer
This deserves more likes and needs to be seen. Matthew you matched every single detail congrats man!
I would edit out the intro in the beginning, I think just starting the cinematic sets a much better mood. Good job!
Jesus Christ this is probably one of the best KSP Cinematics i've ever seen great job Matthew!
If this video doesn't get 100,000 views then youtube is officially broken ;)
GameplayReviewUK ill be forcing Marcus to put this in his next video
TH-cam has been officially broken since Logan Paul
@@SofieBrink yes! :D
I also pinged Marcus a link, hopefully he will :)
I was sent here by Marcus, he just put out a new video a little under an hour ago. Excellent animation! Brilliant and beautiful. Thank you, good sir.
Imagine commenting before the premiere, if this video doesn’t get as many views as SpaceX KSP’s one then I’ll be very disappointed XD
ikr
@SpaceX - KSP everyone i know is on this channel wat
Funny to see a fellow discord mate here

I am in love with the sound of the raptors on the super heavy spooling up before they ignite
I think that artificial gravity is a must-have when it comes to interplanetary voyages. Spin it, SpaceX!
also MUST have is shield against radiation. In a case, that you would like to seriously have living things on the board.
They probably will not. Artificial gravity is only for the comfortable of the crew. It will not changed anything (yes especially the bone problem)
Matt, you did an amazing job. I know that everyone in Marcus House's Discord will agree.
Thank you!
This is truly incredible! Love the audio effects! The shots are perfect too!
This is just breathtaking! Also loving the Autobot insignia on the Starship Tanker. Very nice touch. 👌🚀
Nicely DONE!!!!!
It's like Elon Musk's starship animation remake in KSP
Looks so real
absolute beauty and power, like the BFR and starship together
Damn dude that was super pretty to watch
thanks!
It should come as no surprise that the first voyage to another planet will take place on a ship that, with its solar array deployed, will looking like an old sailing vessel made for spaceflight. We're sailing... but not on the winds of air, rather the winds of light.
This is getting closer to reality! They just had a successful fourth test flight with both ship and booster making successful soft landings
It brings a tear to my eye. Amazing work dude! Keep it up! 👑
That was fantastic! Thanks! The best and longest I've seen. Amazing tiny decals work.
eri bruger thanks!
Wonderful video, mind blowing sounds and visuals can not wait for your next one!
Great video, thank you Matthew for your effort.
wow best animation i have seen so far .. perfect. and the sound effects are awesome

THIS. This is absolutely perfect. Cheers! I was getting bored of rewatching the official SpaceX one over and over. Love this. 😃😄
Darth Revan thank you!
This is freaking real!!!
Don't you think I don't know where the original audio is from. Great video, though. Absolutley amazing!

Absolute madlad. Love the video!
Awesome!!
Amazing animation, very epic
Amazing video, can't wait to see this irl 😀
Only just realized this was released on my birthday last year
Love the name of the Starship. I suppose Zaphod Beeblebrox is the commander of the mission.
can you imagine, how loud this 32 Raptor will be,
compared to a Eurofighter this like a breeze in the wind.
Why did I cry?
The music makes this TEN times better! Great job man!
LazyLaz thank you! 😀
@@MatthewCable No problem, when I see a video that I enjoy, 9 times out of 10, i'll subscribe. Especially if it's a spacex-type video lol
Brilliant.
Amazing.
I love this
Thanks!
All hail the musk man
Mars would be a good place to Retire to.
This is so cool! 😁
Thanks buddy!
Lol every single moment of your vidéo is so unic!!
amazing
loved it :D
Wait, this video was an atualised version from the spacex's Interplanetary Transport System video!
🇺🇸🚀
Absolutely inspirational! Loved the AUTOBOT symbol on the refueler starship variant :)
Balance hehe 😉 you may see I’m a huge fan of Transformers
@@MatthewCable Good stuff! All my cars have had big red AUTOBOT decals on their bonnets! I can only dream of something like that in space- and thanks to you I can see what it looks like. Respect
@@korrdavl that's awesome!
awesome
so starship transformer? interesting... yessss...
Nice.
It is actually good.

Forget The Picture... just Listen to The Sound... this is digital art !
This video s so darn good i've been trying to find a way to make my tundra exploration to look that good I can't seem to it how did you make yours so shiny and amazing looking
Ahah, those little legs of Starship on Mars is crazy ))))
I hope we find Kerbals on Mars!
Love You
When one video gets more views than my entire channel
One day this will happen :)
Can't wait to fly in one of these,
Yeah the 2030's gonna wild I tell ya
Just thinking about it humans on another planet goddamn
Good but the ending felt little rushed. Would have been nice to see Starship's full landing sequence
This video is epic!
Do you share the build files for your builds because this would be epic to have on my KSP?!?!?
Fantastic job on the cinematography: sound and music score makes the Kerbals trip a grand adventure! Is the displayed 100,000 km/h at 3:34 correct? Mars is 67 million km (minimum distance) so journey time would be 670 hrs or 28 days, a fantastic transit time! I understood it would be more like 6-7 months.
It would probably take longer, because asd you move, Mars also does.
Amazing, more 1 subscribe
Amazing, but the fins would be out on accent and no the COL is not effected.
Beautiful, any chance of you sharing the RO config for Starship/Super Heavy you used?
Хорошо
Ojala que se cumpla
Woah the super heavy has alot of engines and i thought it will destroy the launchpad
I'd rather watch this video than doing my homework lmao
just remember
one of those kerbals may be YOU in the future
Nice video, question what mod is for Boca Chica Laucnh site
I think the propellant tanker takes off first cause it will need other tankers to fill it all the way up before it transfers all it's prop to the starship for trans Mars Injection burn. Other than that pretty cool.
This is one of the best cinematics I have ever watched, may I just ask, how did you create the starship tanker with tundra mod? There isn’t really a dedicated upper part for the tanker.
