Edmonton has to be all in. Look at some teams who won cups the last 10 + years. Practically all of them got it done with their star players and core players being under 30. Connor and Leon are 28 and 29 and the team has very few prospects in the cupboards. They have a year or two and that might be it. These are two of the best, but it isn't going to get easier when you lose guys like Holloway and Broberg for pennies on the dollar and you're probably the oldest team in the league.
@eaglebay-d9y whos edm gonna trade? They dont have any real tradeable players this year and no cap space. I could see Janmark maybe but the prospect pool and draft picks are dry as well
@@AbolishedEmu Obviously you trade Savoie and your picks to try and bring some guys in. Edm is delaying Kane's surgeries so he will be in the lineup game 1, buy they need 2 dmen and another goalie. You should be able to get that done with 5 million in cap space.
@eaglebay-d9y with what cap space? They have no room for it if they dont trade some roster spots. They have 79k to work with. That includes Kane on LTIR as well. Tell me who is tradeable on the current roster.
@@AbolishedEmu Puckpedia says they have 5 million. Kane's contract doesn't count I guess until he comes back. They will add players and magic Kane is healthy for game 1
@Cboyer0915 they dont really have any tradeable players and no cap space this year. Only room for 1. Janmark I could see them moving from. They dont have many options right now and their prospect pool and picks are dry as well
Edmonton amd toronto should be all in cus their windows are closing fast
Stupidest saying in Hockey, there window is closing
Wrong @@shirleydaley5335
@@shirleydaley5335especially when their best players are 30 and under with promising players in their early 20s playing every game
Rantanen's cap hit is literally just going to be taking a majority of the cap rise money and giving it to him. It's really not that big of a deal.
Trade rantenen for miller and a throw in lol
@TheOilJay1990 Miller is a cancer to any locker room
He just got traded to Carolina
CAROLINA PLAYING THEIR CARDS FIRST

@eaglebay-d9y again tell me who is tradeable? 5 mill is enough for 1 decent guy unless you want a 3 bottom 6 forwards or another part time dman.
Edmonton has no real tradeable players this year. Can only kinda make 1 deal and thats it.
I think there are two possible deals. Another dman and a 4C.
